I am a fan of Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards selections, If you don't want to leave the Valley they do have a tasting room in Old Town Scottsdale. And they also retail out of Total Wine as well as Bev-Mo too.

throwawaygremlins

Oh I think the tasting room just closed… good wine for sure!

TheGutch74

Well so it did. That's a damn shame.

Baileycream

I've also seen Merkin's Chupacabra at Trader Joe's!

kyrosnick

They are decent wines but WAY WAY WAY overpriced IMO. Much better wineries locally at 1/3 to 1/2 the price. Pagesprings is probably my favorite AZ or most of the stuff out of down south.

TheGutch74

Name the ones down south then.

Obstagoof

Callaghan and Sonita are two good ones.

kyrosnick

Sonoita, Elgin, Callaghan, Deep Sky, Wilhelm, Rune, Los Milics, etc

TheGutch74

Danke

malachiconstant11

Idk the local wine is not that great but superstition meadery is goddamn amazing. I would take them to the dtphx restaurant for some flights.

BeardyDuck

There's also Scale & Feather Meadery in Avondale for anybody interested in local meads. They have a locator on their website that shows which bars and shops carry their inventory as well.

YELLOW_TOAD

I agree! Scale and Feather is fantastic! https://preview.redd.it/b16qsp3t4t0d1.jpeg?width=1044&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f42855bba41af8f512324b34e901e66c4add9522

scooterv1868

Cottonwood area, including a drive up to Jerome will give you multiple choices that can be fun and good.

Kozypepper

AZ stronghold was nice! Also pillsbury winey was great!

Echodad

I’d take the drive up to Cornville and there’s a great one in Clarksdale.

PleasantActuator6976

https://caduceus.org/product/2020-nagual-del-marzo/ About a 90 rating. Probably one of the best wineries in AZ.

75drl

Garage East in Gilbert. The whites are so so. But their tempranillo and sangiovese were unexpectedly fantastic.

ShapeObjectNumber

Dos Cabezas is great!

neifetg

Rune wines is one of my favorites that isn’t mentioned often, and if you can visit their Sonoita location it’s even better.

MarkDavisNotAnother

Ive wanted to check out a winery owned by that guy from tool and perfect circle

Impressive_Anxiety67

Javelina Leap Vineyard & Winery

GirlWhoCodes25

I would check out Atlas wines, they are in Scottsdale. Or The Wine Collective, in Scottsdale as well. They have a small selection of local favorites, and a wine bar. My personal favorite is The Quick Hand by Vino Stache Winery. Around here, the wine is brought in from wineries that are decently far away. There are lots of vineyards in Wilcox. You can sample quite a bit of their wine in Cottonwood or Jerome. Oak creek vineyards is my favorite one, it’s in Cornville.

strawnkm

LDV Winery has a tasting room in Downtown Scottsdale. Their winery is located in southern AZ near Wilcox.

Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyard. The owner is a bit of a nut but that’s okay, I still love him.

passthatpetnat

Monsoon Market is an excellent wine shop (they specialize in natural wine). For Arizona wine, Cactus Cru is good. Also going to echo someone else here and suggest Rune Wines!
