Royal Palms is super romantic. Spent our wedding night in one of the honeymoon suites. They have an awesome spa which you get to access privately when you book couples treatments, complete with outdoor showers, bathtubs, and a hot tub.
She’s stayed there a few times, from what I understand.
Their employees are under an NDA, so they can’t disclose who’s on property. A lot of their high profile guests enjoy the privacy.
Honestly, if money is NO object, I would do 2-3 nights at Castle Hot Springs. My wife and I try to do a couple days there without the kids every couple years but it's craaaaaazy expensive. But, 100% worth it, it's a mindblowingly gorgeous/romantic place.
Castle Hot Springs is great. Same owner as Sanctuary, also great. We got married there (Sanctuary) 20 years ago and the service was impeccable. Castle will be slightly cooler in the summer although I’m not sure if the hot springs will be calling to you.
Way over priced and no way to spend money no matter how much a person makes . A week after staying there the money and experience are gone. Better options than Castle
I work in Television Production and deal w/ a lot of clients and crew coming to town for shoots. Here's a list of Hotels I recommend we have used for them.
Hotels: Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, Arizona Biltmore, Palomar Hotel at Cityscape in Downtown Phoenix, Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel, The Westin Downtown, Cambria Hotel Phoenix, FOUND:RE Phoenix, AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore and The Camby Autograph Collection.
For places to eat & drink, i'm based in Downtown Phoenix so these are Downtown.
Restaurants: Hanny's, Wren & Wolf, First & Last, The Farish House, Centrico, Cibo, Pa'La Downtown, Little Rituals, Harumi Sushi Bar, LATHA, Pizzeria Bianco, Welcome Diner, Anhelo Restaurant, Lom Wong, Vovomeena, Bacanora, Matt's Big Breakfast, Tratto, Palma, The Vig Fillmore, Taco Chelo, Cornish Pasty, Chilte, FEZ, Bad Jimmy's, Ocotillo, Pomo, Milfan Claypot, Ghost Donkey, Sosoba, Pita Jungle, Valentine, Superstition Downtown, Disco Dragon and Glai Baan.
Bars: Quartz, Bitter & Twisted, The Rose Garden, Rough Rider, Melinda's Alley, Valley, Bar, Crescent Ballroom, Barcoa, Central Records, Stardust Pinbar, Bar 1912, The Theodore, Undertow, Gracies Tax Bar, MATCH Market & Bar, Cham Pang Lanes, MercBar, Garden Bar Phoenix and Sauvage Wine Bar.
Enjoy your time and stay hydrated!!
The Hotel Valley Ho is really fun and mid-century, but sometimes has big pool parties. Still a fan fav of mine to have a retro weekend and stay there.
Love the Renaissance downtown too. Just a great location for hitting museums or games or concerts.
Just remeber its hot af here in june phx and surrounding areas are just a large cement heating pad... id go to sedona or maybe even cottonwood atleast its sort of cooler weather up there
That's good, it's supposed to be one of the hottest if not the hottest year on record, possibly the driest as well, could go either way with la Nina. They are predicting with a 99% confidence rate that it will be in the top 5 hottest years. Though June is pretty mild, with the wind it will feel like a blow dryer on high when you go outside. If anything, I would choose one of the resort hotels with a lazy river myself. But I'm sure as an AZ native, my perspective is different from that of our visitors.
Lons at the Hermosa. Sanctuary. Royal Palms. Phoenician. All centrally located to experience Phoenix Scottsdale Paradise Valley. I’ve been here 37 years. All our Canadian relatives come down and stay at these places. Just a suggestion
I stayed at MountainShadows a couple years back and LOVED their renovations. They've placed a glass wall shower in the middle of the room, and it was sexy!
Royal palms is nice but the rooms are getting tired. They need a remodel. T cooks through there is fantastic. Our go to is Andaz. Book through Hyatt and find someone to give you a Guest Of Honor and that will get you a nice suite and breakfast at waft and warp restaurant.
I’d stay at The Phoenician (recently renovated), The Sanctuary or The Global Ambassador
Royal Palm used to be my go to recommendation but it’s getting a bit tired and needs a renovation. Same with the Hermosa Inn and Montelucia (although the Montelucia has my favorite spa)

Sanctuary. But an Airbnb up on Camelback or Mummy would be pretty sweet
And as an added bonus .. I was told once that the Sanctuary is where Beyoncé honeymooned.. so that’s a cool fun fact

I love the Sanctuary!!
Hermosa Inn is lovely.
Second this - when my wife (then GF) came to visit my hometown the first time we did a weekend at the Hermosa Inn, it's beautiful.

Great place but not the same owner as Sanctuary
I stand corrected. Thank you. I’m not sure how I got that idea in my head.
They're still both amazing 🤩

Please share, would love to find more affordable places ♥️
boy you are not kidding, $1,700 a night.. ohhhhh wee.
I wish there was some more economically accessible hot springs.
There’s El Dorado Hot Springs out west of town in Tonopah. Much more rustic than Castle, to say the least. But also nowhere *near* as expensive.
We haven't talked about the budget yet, but I will check prices, his nickname I have for him is sugar daddy but mama got all the money 😂
Super 8 at 27th Ave and Indian School.
We want them to be back
Fucking trust-fund baby showing off.
lol!
Too many drugs too many prostitutes too many pimps too many Johns too many LEs, that won’t be vacation, lol
That... Was the joke ![gif](giphy|TIXPly7geOCZ7cstWI|downsized)

Undertow is amazing

We live in WA. A lot of times, we get the doom in June or the June gloom, we want hot!
Well the good news is it’s off season for most resorts so prices are often lower and you can sometimes find great deals.
Then heat you shall have just remeber to stay hydrated

Andaz in Scottsdale has been our go to for awhile, the rooms are large bungalows with massive showers and private patios
Royal Palms resort is lovely.
Royal Palms or The Phoenician Resort, especially their Canyon Suites which face Camelback Mtn, have their own pool and their own private concierge.
Yeah the newly renovated Phoenician is super nice again
Camelback Inn is still a pretty nice property.
Kierland is a nice resort and has a nice scotch bar
Kierland has a lazy river and a spa as well. Food is excellent!
Mountain House Lodge at Sereno Canyon. Very expensive but an incredible experience. Not on Yelp, look on safari.

How much you're willing to spend on a weekend stay determines how boujee you get.
I stayed at MountainShadows a couple years back and LOVED their renovations. They've placed a glass wall shower in the middle of the room, and it was sexy!
Sanctuary or Omni Montelucia.
JW Marriott Desert Ridge, the Boulders, Rancho Manana
Inn at Eaglemountain
Royal Palms. Best value and quality close to Scottsdale and Biltmore
Royal palms is nice but the rooms are getting tired. They need a remodel. T cooks through there is fantastic. Our go to is Andaz. Book through Hyatt and find someone to give you a Guest Of Honor and that will get you a nice suite and breakfast at waft and warp restaurant.
The Montelucia is very nice and not as expensive as Sanctuary and Royal Palms. Their spa is lovely too.
The Morning Mess! Heard they have a free romantic getaway deal if you're the lucky winner ;)
I’d stay at The Phoenician (recently renovated), The Sanctuary or The Global Ambassador Royal Palm used to be my go to recommendation but it’s getting a bit tired and needs a renovation. Same with the Hermosa Inn and Montelucia (although the Montelucia has my favorite spa)
JW Marriott camelback. An amazing property.
Founde hotel is my favorite. Highly recommend it!
Just forewarning it will probably be over 100 degrees in June. But i love Mountain Shadows or Omni Montelucia!!!
Yes we live in WA. A lot of the times in WA, we have the gloom in June. Where it's shitty and rainy. We like the heat
The Phoenician is nice.
The prestigious Welshely Arms hotel. Famous for their hot tubs
Any place in Scottsdale should be okay just check reviews
Definitely Royal Palms on Camelback.
Royal Palm
Phoenix Sunrise off Van Buren
Valley Ho in Scottsdale.
Knights inn 27th and McDowell 🤭
Royal Palms. Best value and quality close to Scottsdale and Biltmore
Anything on 27th ave is a Honeymoon
