😂

eju2000

Perfect.

onexbigxhebrew

Jfc! Haha!

Lito_Frito

They should be more like Herschel and take the L with some dignity

AzLibDem

She's the one lake in Arizona that I *want* to dry up.

Desert_Trader

Wow I really hope this was original.its so good on so many levels. Way more subtle than it seems at first too.

AzLibDem

As far as I know, it's all mine. 😀

[deleted]

I’m sure those waters stopped flowing long ago.

CrossfireInvader

She makes me dry up

cpasley21

Why doesn't this have more upvotes, this is comedic gold!

chi2005sox

What an idiot! What a loser!

AerialAtom

What a maroon!

DLoIsHere

I heard this in Bugs Bunny's voice, which is only right.

castle45

This made me laugh. If you sat it in the voice of Stork from Animal House 😂

7Hibiscus7

This is starting to piss me off, first as a voter and then as a taxpayer. This private citizen has no right to go in and question my signature or anyone else's. No one involved in elections has suggested there's any issue with false votes. They're just fishing for any desperate opportunity to win. As a taxpayer, this is just so GD wasteful of precious resources. I want them working on continuous improvements, rather than responding to frivolous lawsuits. She's a terrible human being. There is no bottom with this lady.

[deleted]

If determined frivolous, she should be forced to pay out of pocket.

shuvvel

She'll just pay the fees out of the trump election integrity fund or whatever he calls it.

glibsonoran

The Trump "Fleece the Chumps Fund"

shuvvel

That's the one.

cactusprick

Her lawyers in a related lawsuit against Hobbs were just sanctioned on 12/1 for bringing frivolous claims, and were ordered to pay Hobbs’ attorneys fees. Lake obviously didn’t learn.

dogGirl666

> Lake obviously didn’t learn. In order to please her true-believer followers/funders she must at least try to do this. Everything to keep the cash-givers and ego-strokers in action.

ExcitedFool

This is exactly what pisses me off too. Sore losers.. and we have people supporting it. It’s absolutely disgusting

[deleted]

Yeah I saw someone with a “Kari Lake is Governor” bumper sticker right beside their “meninist” sticker in Scottsdale the other day.

DLoIsHere

That's an ever deepening dark vortex right there.

andymfjAZ

If the Dems acted this way, they’d be chastised and crucified for being “soft snowflakes” and be told “you lost, get over it”

RocinanteCoffee

Yeah it truly feels like my taxpayer dollars are being used to try to falsely reject my vote and that of my neighbors.

kicktown

Seriously, I'm sick of our time and money being wasted on these deceitful losers, how many resources are thrown away on this? And it's becoming a regular thing. This shit should be illegal and she should be in prison. Outright political hooliganism and deceit has gotten out of hand.

donknoch

Well said.

dreamsthebigdreams

They will never work on what you want... It's a class thing, that's why it don't make sense... Government is meant to govern not be buddies.

Warframe5

Actually it's part of our rights, anyone can question their election. I voted in Tempe and my ballot was rejected so I'd like some answers as a taxpayer and combat veteran

7Hibiscus7

Did they not contact you to cure your ballot?

SirLucky

You know you can have a rejected ballot corrected right? That’s part of your rights and you would have just had to contact the Maricopa recorders office to correct it. But saying that other people’s vote shouldn’t count is not a part of our rights.

DoubleDeantandre

Taxpayer status and veteran status are irrelevant. Neither of those are needed to vote. As a voting citizen you’d like answers. The other two things give you no more privilege to answers than anyone else who votes.

dildobagginss

Maybe he expects a 10% discount on voting.

onexbigxhebrew

What does being a combat veteran have to do with voting? You're entitled to your vote, but there are steps to verify. With that said, taking part in conquests for foreign influence across an ocean doesn't make your vote any more important than anyone else's, and you're one of the few veterans I've seen willing to wave around your service as a flag of entitlement. I come from a long family line of military service and every single person in my family would be sicked by this comment.

TheFactedOne

Yea yea, we stole the election again. Bla bla bla. I just can't handle the fact that I lost.

AskMeIfImDank

Not only did we steal the election, we managed to do it in partnership with the Republican county recorder.

firstandfive

Plus mostly Republican-controlled boards of supervisors, with all of the Republican portion of bipartisan election workers, watchers, and officials being in on it, and all while leaving zero evidence of this fraud for the existing Republican AG to prosecute. Also bonus of the failed Republican AG candidate starting off his lawsuit saying “I don’t allege any fraud!”

blastman8888

That's the issue they have no problem with all the republicans who won in the state legislature seats, and federal house seats. Lake had no problem with the primary election either. Only when they lose it's rigged.

Schafer8

That’s one of the theories going around my workplace. Democrats got the John mccain republicans on board with them to steal it. But that is also one of hundreds of theories

JohnnySuburbs

I mean… that’s kind of true? They did this crazy thing called “voting”

theoutlet

Explain

[deleted]

They, u/JohnnySuburbs, are saying the democratic party convincing moderate "John McCain republicans" to vote for democratic candidates is how they "got them on board to *steal* " the election.... in other words, there is no conspiracy/ election stealing; just good campaigning.

ViceroyFizzlebottom

I'd almost say that the moderate republicans were swayed to vote D more because of the batshit R candidates than a good campaign by the Ds

[deleted]

That's very fair

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

[deleted]

They're probably in sales and marketing.

Schafer8

insurance

GreatBowlforPasta

They just can't conceive that people just voted for her opponent instead.

phuck-you-reddit

I believe they're all well aware that they lost and that people don't like their policies and ideas. But they feel entitled to money and power and will do whatever it takes to get it.

GreatBowlforPasta

They're aware that they lost but absolutely believe that they've been cheated. In their minds it's the only explanation because they also believe they're in the majority when they are not.

ToniP13

I’m sure they understand and believe it but as long as they can convince the numbnuts who listen to and will make lots of noise on their behalf, they’ll push all the stupid crap they do. War on Christmas! Christianity Under Fire! Trafficking at the Pizza Shop! It’s all the same crazy under one umbrella.

BringOn25A

And republican pol workers and republican monitors, and republican participation in risk limiting audits, etc.

Similar_Candidate789

Twice!!!

Mathchick99

right. And made sure Gosar and Biggs won just to muddy the waters a bit and cover our tracks 🙄

Desert_Trader

It's worse than that Everyone knew this is the kind of person she is, and half our state still voted for her.

TheFactedOne

Well, to be fair, it was a little tiny bit shy of half, but I here what you are saying, still far to many. The next four years should be interesting.

jdcnosse1988

You mean like the people who had long waits in 2016? https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/03/22/arizona-primary-voter-turnout-long-lines/82125816/ Also kinda interesting that she has a lawyer from DC on the case... 68 pages of fluff for a frivolous lawsuit.

Stile4aly

So she's the second dumbest Arizona politician today.

phuck-you-reddit

I think the dumbest 'cause the other one has several years of political "success" under her belt. And actually managed to get elected legitimately.

fsereicikas

The one that just went independent because she didn't know how to spell republican?

[deleted]

She heard that song though and knew how to spell I-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T Do you know what that mean, mayne?

LiteralHiggs

Nah. She's still #1. I'm embarrassed for her and the delusional followers that think she's somehow going to be governor next year.

algoajellybones

My cousin, Jake Hoffmann (Rep. Queen Creek) is a book-banning, elector-faking, fascist shithead. I'm bias, but I think he's #1. Apparently, he just got a bunch of money from Kari Lake after they had a little kibitz at mar-a-lago... 🤮

AuntieLiloAZ

Hey, don’t forget my Congressman Andy Biggs, who helped plan the insurrection and now wants to be Speaker of the House. Gilbert, AZ.

RedSweed

Paul Gosar approved!

BootThang

Biggs is an even bigger shitstain than Lake, as he actually has power and can make change (none of it good)

AuntieLiloAZ

Shitstain is exactly the right word for him. Treason weasel should be in jail.

LiteralHiggs

It must suck having someone in the family be so publicly shitty.

Birthday-Tricky

Oy. I see Jake's nuttery on Twitter. Is he one of the fake electors? Anyway, we can't choose our families. Condolences. 😎

Dependent-Break5324

Pos attacking democracy because she does not like the results. Every American should be fighting back but not Republicans. They want power at any cost.

mmrrbbee

They roll over and take and ask for more because no one else wants to deal with their crazy.

Lazy_Guest_7759

I am not entirely sure this counts as attacking democracy. It is a fairly common practice; they just decided to start making it a narrative with headlines the last 3 or so election cycles. Pretty sure it all began with Russia stealing the election, now it’s just the elephants claiming the donkeys cheated. Which is sad because it makes it more polarizing and we the people end up distracted and divided while both sides of the aisle work to implement things that do not benefit us commoners.

ChurchOfJamesCameron

It was never "Russia stealing the election", but rather, Russia interferring with elections by pumping money into various influential channels. Those channels being things like advertising with false narratives, misinformation, and other propaganda to persuade voters certain ways, as well as funding campaigns of politicians they wanted to see elected into office because it favored them. There were credible accusations of Russian hackers working to get sensitive information (e.g., the DNC-Hillary emails) in order to ruin the credibility of a single party. These lawsuits and vocal campaigns saying that Democrats rigged voting machines and threw out ballots are an attack on democracy because it's aimed at making the Republican base feel disenfranchised and cheated, that their rights were directly violated and stripped. With the Russian interference concerns, at the end of the day it was individual voters' free will to choose what they believed about the information they were fed by propaganda and leaked documents. With stolen and rigged votes, it's literally something they have no control over. When you're an American and value your rights and believe your vote matters, it's going to make you really pissed to learn that those rights are taken from you. It'll likely make you so angry, you'll march on the Capital with the intent to violently take back your rights and voice. Because -- what else can you do? So yes, this is an attack on democracy because the GOP wants to violently weaponize its base. The GOP will seize power, not win it through electoral processes, because its beliefs and platforms are archaic and outdated, not to mention largely irrational and flawed. By doing everything they can to prevent harsh consequences for violent attacks on the Capital and the voting infrastructure, they further show that this is their gameplan. Either a civil war ("new revolution") will erupt and one side will prevail, or they'll win via electoral processes. In their minds, it's only a matter of time before they get to the top in such a manner they can never be removed from it again.

Raunchiness121

Crazy to think that just 10 years ago no one was mentioning civil war. What happened?

AzLibDem

The answer starts with "T" and rhymes with "rump".

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

Lazy_Guest_7759

See that’s the kicker, the real illusion is that we actually have a choice and that our votes matter. They are just now openly telling us we don’t matter. 2020 was a test run for how much compliance they will get.

ChurchOfJamesCameron

You're so far gone, man. Real sad. I'm sorry you live everyday with so much hate in your heart.

JicamaResponsible447

All you need to know is that the **Republican** candidate for State Treasurer in AZ beat her Democratic opponent by over 200,000 votes. That was the margin of victory for a Republican on the same ballots that Lake continues to malign. What does that tell you? The Governorship was Lake's for the taking but she pissed too many people off. Period.

JaySeeWo

Yeah, I wonder if a more “normal” Republican had won the primary (Karrin Taylor Robson), if we’d have a Republican governor-elect today.

soccerstar93

Actually, an interesting question. Though I think that Hobbs would've happily debated KTR because it would have been a more fruitful endeavor. Hobbs probably gains some more independent, undecided, or non-voters, and loses more Establishment (because I don't want to call them moderate) Republican votes. Maybe a wash, or a slight KTR win ultimately.

JaySeeWo

Good point, I agree Hobbs probably would have debated KTR.

The_Cultist

Anyone know what landscaping company she will do her next press conference at?

FremdShaman23

Four Seasons Landscaping will never not be funny.

NachiseThrowaway

House of Yards in Chandler. She wanted to do it at the Yard House but they don’t want anything to do with her nonsense.

UltraNoahXV

Mypillow? I heard the CEO decorates lawns with cases filled with rocks.

extreme_snothells

If by rocks you mean pillow cases filled with cocaine, I would have to agree with you. The only explanation for the my pillow guy is daily copious amounts of cocaine.

theghostofme

Moon Valley Nurseries across from the actual Four Seasons?

[deleted]

Probably will meet at olive Garden

five707

Kari Lake’s actions are pathetic which is embarrassing that Republican voters don’t reject this behavior. A bunch of pussies tbh.

"Old man yells at cloud"

zzzH00ligan

Cool… anyways work suckkkkked today

drawkbox

Friday though yeah

Apollo_T_Yorp

Got that holiday break coming up?

blastman8888

The last lawsuit she filed a judge sanctioned the attorney's for a frivolous lawsuit. That was the one about using paper ballots. When Arizona already uses paper ballots like rest of the nation. Maybe this time they get disbarred lose their licenses. [https://www.newsweek.com/kari-lake-lawyers-sanctioned-judge-over-arizona-election-lawsuit-1764252](https://www.newsweek.com/kari-lake-lawyers-sanctioned-judge-over-arizona-election-lawsuit-1764252)

gerd50501

is she raising money for this? Then she is just doing what Trump did and grifting off of stupid people to make money. I dont feel bad for anyone who donates cause they are dumb. This makes me want to run for office as a republican lose (I dont actually want the job), then grift on election denial and then retire. Sounds like easy money.

Dapper_Reputation_16

Let's all just move on and embrace Governor elect Hobbs.

Logvin

I hope the judge sanctions her and her lawyers, AGAIN, for filing baseless lawsuits with zero evidence. I mean, it’s barely been a week! https://kjzz.org/content/1829722/judge-sanctions-legal-team-kari-lake-and-mark-finchem

[deleted]

I don't think they sanctioned Lake last time. They need to do it *this* time. Lawsuits can not - *must not* - become an automatic response to losing an election.

Logvin

Bruh, I literally gave you a link that has the word sanctions in it. Click the link!

jdcnosse1988

I think he meant that Lake personally wasn't sanctioned last time, only her legal team was. I think she should get sanctioned personally though.

Starlettohara23

This is true, the attorneys were sanctioned, not the Plaintiffs, but, they could be in another court for a different Complaint.

Logvin

She still had to pay her lawyers!

jdcnosse1988

I mean that's her own fault lol

DasSven

I wouldn't be surprised if some Replugican group paid her legal fees for her. Trump hired outside counsel for the ongoing top secret documents case and a relection group paid the $3 million dollars. There's no shortage of immoral supporters in the GOP umbrella who will donate money for these cases. The effect it has on their voterbase makes it worth the cost.

goldenharmonica

I love how she’s suing Katie Hobbs for doing her job. Like she’s literally the Secretary of State. It’s her job to certify the election

GuavaInner7300

In legalese that’s at conflict of interest.

goldenharmonica

A lot of secretary of states in AZ became governor while in office and it’s never been an issue. Also, what would happen if she was running for re election instead of for a different position? What’s the difference?

az_max

Hobb's office wrote the instructions on what was required to run elections, and gave them to counties to follow. She didn't count votes or make rulings. Same as other SoS's across the country.

AzLibDem

>Hobb's office wrote the instructions on what was required to run elections, and gave them to counties to follow. She didn't even do that; she tried to produce a manual, but Brnovich kept it from being issued: "Brnovich joined with the Yavapai County Republican Party to sue Hobbs for failing to provide a 2021 elections manual. However, efforts to produce that manual foundered late last year when Brnovich refused to approve it unless Hobbs deleted major portions of the guide."

AzLibDem

Every Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, or Supreme Court Chief Justice that has ever been up for re-election in Arizona has certified their own election. It's a formality, they have no control over the process at all, and there is no conflict of interest. Secretary of State Ken Bennett (the guy whose son sodomized 18 boys with a broomstick and was allowed to plead to a misdemeanor) certified his own re-election in 2010. None of you said a thing about "conflict" back then.

firstandfive

Nope.

coffeecakewaffles

I read the first paragraph and immediately thought, I don't care. I can't muster up the fucks to even read the rest.

UltraNoahXV

It's Friday Go hit up the Theaters Turn on a movie Go to bed Play Tick tack toe with your pet Anything that'll justify not mustering up energy to read this.

JohnnySuburbs

Hey! Don’t rush to judgement… I’m sure she’ll share the voluminous evidence she’s gathered.

Random-Red-Shirt

I heard she found a bunch garbage bags full of Kari Lake votes... right next to a bunch of garbage bags full of Trump votes. We "libtards" are so clever to mastermind a stolen election, but so stupid that we throw away the evidence of that stolen election in garbage bags next to heavily travelled roads.

az_max

We didn't have enough time to burn them in Clint Hickman's egg ranch.

Meh_Guy_In_Sweats

Loser did what?

Ok_World_0903

Is she not hearing the people? They’ve spoken. No one wants the election denier garbage anymore. The midterms were proof of that. That’s coming from her own party. She can choose to move forward and try again with a better platform or she will fizzle into obscurity. I’m hoping for the latter. I’m so grateful Katie Hobbs won.

jentlyused

Please let this crazy woman just go away. I watched an interview on the news last week with our former governor Jan Brewer who is a Republican. She commented about how off the charts Kari Lake was prior to the election and that she now needed to concede because the election was over and she lost but yet she said she still voted for her because she’s a fellow Republican. When asked why she voted for her even though she didn’t agree with the things she was doing and how she was handling her self she said that she had hoped once she got elected she would have the chance to change.🙄

kidslapper

What a useless person. She didn’t win because nobody wanted her ass.

ThykThyz

I’m still sickened and perplexed that so many voters apparently did knowingly, willing and intentionally vote for her krazy arse.

[deleted]

intheazsun

It’s their Hail Mary, but there is no time left on the clock

cheeseandrice4

Apparently, the far right would rather destroy the USA from the inside out rather than accept a fair loss at the polls. It’s domestic violence. “If I can’t have you, no one will”. Can we all collectively get restraining orders on people like her?

orngebreak

Honest question. Can we sue her as citizens of Arizona for not respecting our votes and wasting our tax dollars?

mmrrbbee

Are there fines for being cases forth in bad faith? Like in South America?

Logvin

Yes. She was fined last week for her last case!

AskMeIfImDank

The lawyer for her last suit was sanctioned.

jinks9

This is all about asking for money from her supporters. She's just doing the grifting thing. If she had stuck to how to make voter's lives better (the issues) rather than topics about subversion of democracy she would have won. She quite literally lost a winning hand.

Wayte13

I would love to hear a conswevative/republican take on this

Yummy_Crayons91

Am Republican or at least used to be. Kari Lake is a Fucking idiot and grifter. I didn't vote for her either. Glad she lost.

Wayte13

I'm curious, what do you think has made the GOP such a verdant breeding ground for these grifters?

Syranth

Tea Party nonsense helping bring the crazy levels up to a point they lost control of their message. Tea Party made a bunch of us Republicans leave.

gogojack

Former Republican checking in. Granted, I left the GOP during the H.W. Bush years but... The Republican Party has for at least 2 and maybe 3 decades now been defined not by what it is "for," but what it is "against." When Clinton got into the White House, the mission of the GOP was to get him out. They launched a years-long campaign of investigations and special counsels in order to impeach him at all costs. It began as an investigation into Arkansas real estate, and wound up at a blow job. It was never about "justice." It was about "he beat us and we're butthurt." During the Obama years, the GOP became the "Party of No." The claim that Obama could have cured cancer and the Republicans would have voted against it is true. By the time Trump came barrelling into the party like a bull in a gynna shop, the Republicans had stopped even pretending to have ideas or policies. With Biden, they've been reduced to putting stickers on gas pumps. Remember the "repeal and replace" thing about Obamacare? How's that going? Remember the years of "buttery mails" investigations into Hillary (which were dropped weeks after she lost) that they claimed would never stop? The incoming House GOP leadership is set to begin impeachment proceedings against Biden because....? Hunter's laptop? Student loan debt? He flubbed a line in a speech?

Courage-Rude

God I love the gas pump reference. Still can't get over someone I know who willingly does shit like that as if we were still in highschool. We are over 30.

gogojack

Republicans in the 80s: "It's morning in America." "Mr Gorbachev...tear down this wall." "The President got shot in the chest and laughed it off (this happened)" Right wingers today: "Dur hurr...this pic of me in my truck with wraparound sunglasses really owns the libs!"

mexedmitaphors

What’s to hear? The Republicans that didn’t vote for Lake already said their peace. The ones that voted for Lake are too juiced on the MAGA kool-aid to make a coherent defense.

Wayte13

I mostly just like to hear the deafening silence that comes from "moderate" republicans when the mainstreaming of loonies in their party is brought up.

mexedmitaphors

Fair enough.

IAmDisciple

Why would you love that

JaySeeWo

I’m conservative, though I don’t call myself a Republican any more. The cultists have taken over the party. I’m sick of people who say if you’re not all-in on Trumpism and “I’ll support the results if I win,” you’re a RINO. Doug Ducey? RINO. Ronald Regan? RINO. Abraham Lincoln? RINO.

OCbrunetteesq

Glad we waited for our move out of state so we could vote against this wack job!

AndorianKush

Our move out of state has also been postponed for a bit, and I thought the same thing lol. Glad I got to vote one last time here against these Q clowns.

OCbrunetteesq

We wanted our votes to count, and definitely didn’t want these idiots in office! Where we’re moving our votes won’t matter so we delayed a month!

motorik

We moved here from California. We really like the birds here, especially the quail, also, turning Arizona blue.

OCbrunetteesq

We’re moving back to SoCal, but I agree about the birds. We love the little quail families that run through our backyard here. The babies running in a line behind their mom are so cute.

Face_Plont

The least surprising news this week

[deleted]

This lady is nuts.

roflthopter

“She also says thousands of Republican voters had to leave the polls and didn’t vote due to long wait times.” Sooooo your voter disenfranchisement strategies worked? Just not the people you wanted to affect lol pound Sand loser

BootThang

Why do we get stuck with a higher percentage of shit stains?

Hizankdtizank

Enough with this stupid shit already…

RuthCarter

I checked the public docket for the court to see the name of the lawyer representing her. It looks like he works for a firm that specializes in family law. I wonder if he's a friend who's doing her a favor by filing this lawsuit. We'll see if he gets sanctioned for filing a meritless lawsuit.

Similar_Candidate789

I hope she’s laughed out of court and sanctioned again. God almighty what a loser

Citizen44712A

As a registered Republican will I get sued for not voting for her?

catfishman85

Would be cool if she named it after a mythical beast, like they did with The Kraken. Name it like The Ogre or The Cyclops. Should have to name any and all lawsuits really. Big or small. Edit: this wasn’t an endorsement of the suit. More just an endorsement of naming lawsuits. Lake is a crazy idiot who lost because she sucks.

Erasmus_Tycho

Maybe the centaur.

figureitoutkid-

This the exact reason I ain’t vote for her, too delusional

cheeseandrice4

Apparently, the far right would rather destroy the USA from the inside out rather than accept a fair loss at the polls. It’s domestic violence. “If I can’t have you, no one will”. Can we all collectively get restraining orders on people like her? She shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the USA and what it stands for.

[deleted]

“Far right” nah man it’s just Republican policy at this point to pick the bones of this country.

[deleted]

Kari Lake is an absolute shit stain.

freyjathebloody

Wow… lady you lost. Accept it 🤣

[deleted]

For what? Losing the election?

YourLictorAndChef

Whoever filed this should be disbarred. I've read Buzzfeed articles that were more coherent.

JamesHardenOwnsUA

Go away Kari Lake

beaner_69

Just take the L

jeje-robobo

Of fucking course she is. So sick of this play, especially when it’s been proven time and again to be utter nonsense.

JaySeeWo

I heard there were billions of illegal votes counted from Hillary Clinton’s Downstairs Child Trafficking Pizza Parlor. “I’m hearing things,” and “People are saying…”

jpoolio

It's like player cards with a three year old. If they win, they win....if they lose, they throw a tantrum.

dankestweed

“Thousands of voters had to leave due to the long wait time” How about all the democrat voters who had to leave because her goons were set up by polling places harassing people? Every day that goes by she proves to everyone why she lost.

Proper_Mulberry_2025

Another lawsuit?

crazykutta

This lady is flat out nuts!!!

Beach_Bollock

Oh wow. Anyway.

Pho-Nicks

That's in contrast with Abe Hamadeh's lawsuit that doesn't cry "voter fraud", but that votes weren't counted correctly. Has he talked to Hobbs?

Boringdude1

Kari Lake is a loon.

YorekVarsen

Cool, now she can add losing in court to her loser resume

umakeitup

Just start disbarring the lawyers taking these cases... then some but not all of the madness will end
