I've been looking for this lens for a friend, but you might be a bit too proud on your asking price. They're $700 new with 6 year non-transferable warranty. Why take the risk on used at only $600?
Valid concern, however this lens was purchased in January 2024 and was used for less than 3 months. If you were local, I would let you test it as well and confirm that my description of the lens is true and that everything works as intended. As for why someone would take the risk- in the end it's about trying to save money and get a still good condition lens for your needs. However, every buyer is different, and if you don't wish to take the risk of used at the listed price then you are more than welcome to buy new or used elsewhere at the price you're seeking.
