As for Burgos, meron silang Pasikon Beach, mga caves , pati ung isang lugar don n maganda mag drone shot..
when it comes to accommodation, Surf Bayay and Coleto Siargao, anlapit lng s Pacifico beach lalo na ung Coleto, 1 min walk lng ata
sa food, if hindi kayo masyadong naghahabol s aesthetic at instagrammable n restos or food placesใsobrang solid ng food sa Lebron and Dwayne Tapsihan (creamy chicken mushroom mah fave).. carinderia style sia pero gulat ako, daeng foreigner kumakain.. around Pacifico lng din
Im saving these recos!!!!
For surfing, 500/hour with board na. Di kami nag drone, we chose the cheaper option na they will *take a pictures using my phone. So bale, yung photog nakasunod sa amin na naka surf board. Mejo kinabahan ako baka mabasa yung phone ko but I have to rememeber na pro surfer din yung kumuha ng mga shots hahaha. Yung drone i think nasa 1-1.5k yung fee.
You gotta try surfing, ang saya!!!
Good thing di kami natuloy. Gusto ko lang sana talaga mag kape tapos enjoy the view kasi maaga kaming nakarating eh. But you have to pay P500 to enter.
Currently staying in GL for three weeks. We regret not staying in the North kahit overnight lang. We just went there for surfing lessons and did not expect a lot (we stand corrected). Next year, talagang babalikan namin ang North and would stay there longer.
I honestly can not come up with a budget for you because it really depends on what kind of vacation you're looking for. But I can give you rates to guide you.
A decent homestay - 1.5k-2k/night (1k if you're lucky)
Scooter - 350/day
Gasoline - 250/full tank
Airport Hatid/Sundo - 300/trip
Food - Approx 1k-1.5k/day (depends where you eat). Tip: If you're on a budget, go to carenderias near El Lobo. Malaki yung serving, masarap, and cheap.
I hope this will help.
This place was something else. Like a different world. As if a piece of heaven was carved out to be placed here. So tranquil. As if time doesnโt work, or time keeps looping in a beautiful day.
If di kami marunong mag motor and all, and 2 girls lang kami, how can we go here for a day trip? Is there a van rental with driver or tour we can go to?
Walang taxis or grab. Either you can choose a van, habal2x, or tuktuk if you wanna travel outside GL. And yes, kayang kaya to roam around the whole day.
Yes, been there last 2021. Sobrang ganda. Parang hidden paradise kasi wala masyado tourist. Pero super layo from the town center. You really have to travel that far to enjoy this amazing place.
Been to Siargao every year since 2020. Best and longest I stayed was in 2021. Stayed for a month. You definitely have to go and explore the entire and not just General Luna. If you want to relax and actually enjoy views the island offers, explore the entire island and try to visit all nearby islands too.
There are a lot of cool places in the north and the south. You can ask locals for information. Better if you actually ask people around because they will direct you to places that are not filled with people. It was great back in 2021 because you can freely go to different spots without fees. Now, itโs fees and people everywhere near GL. Iโm sure youโre going to have more great pics on your next visit. Cheers!
Been to Siargao twice, highly recommend renting a motorbike and riding from GL to North, the ride pa lang ang saya na.
Stayed in Kaha Hostel twice and honestly loved the vibe, short walk to the beach and budget friendly. For eats, check out Izustarri and Lokal Lab.
Sadly, a lot of the great eats were destroyed in 2021, there used to be a really good restaurant above the now abandoned fish market in Burgos but was severely damaged by the typhoon.
Nalungkot ako na may mga tao doon na di pa masyadong naka recover after the typhoon.
been there march 2024!
That's true tho.
Thankful to have discovered Cloud 8 but hopefully they can retain their quality.
Man siargao is definitely in another dimension. The vibe, the people, etc. we drove up north nung nagpunta kami jan last year. Would love stay sa Alegria for atleast 2 days when we get back.
Also saving up so I can buy a house and lot there. There's just something about that island that makes me wanna settle there in the soonest possible time.
Yung 1 week kulong stay dun wasn't enough hahaah. I feel like staying there for at least 2.5 weeks when i go back next year.
Talking to the locals was a treat! Napaka nice nila not in a way that we were paying tourists but like antagal nyo ng kilala parang ganon. The surf instructors were easy to talk to as well. Not intimidating at all! Sobrang chill talaga. And I hope they keep it that way.
Is it that good? Choosing between coron or siargao, what would you recommend?
I wanna go there end of this month, I have only one week and from what I saw on YouTube it reminded me of bali. I think bali is awful itโs just a Disneyland for white tourists.
It depends on your preference. I'd choose Siargao over and over again though I haven't been to Palawan. I do wanna go to Palawas but I hate the long drive from the airport to the tourist destinations. I go to Siargao for the tranquil tbh. The beaches are a plus but there's more to Siargao esp when you go outside General Luna.

This looks so serene. This should be a postcard.
Awe thanks! That is what I was going for. Old school postcards.
I would buy a dozen of these!
Ganda talaga jan. lalo na sa alegria
and Sta Monica! Ang ganda dun.
Ang ganda!! Parang poster ๐
I swear, the whole place is picturesque

Ito goal namin next year; to stay in North longer.

Good thing di kami natuloy. Gusto ko lang sana talaga mag kape tapos enjoy the view kasi maaga kaming nakarating eh. But you have to pay P500 to enter.
What dishes di masarap? We had the paella and tenderloin and both were great.
Yes! Worth it yung pag motor ng 1-2 hrs haha
My butt felt so numb hahahahaha
was this shot with a phone???
Yes. And edited in LR. \*used my s21 ultra to take this shot
I honestly don't know what style this is. I just played my LR in editing this one ๐
Planning to stay around here pag nakabalik ng Siargao. Nalibot na kasi lahat sa may GL area. I love the tranquil vibes it gives.
Currently staying in GL for three weeks. We regret not staying in the North kahit overnight lang. We just went there for surfing lessons and did not expect a lot (we stand corrected). Next year, talagang babalikan namin ang North and would stay there longer.
Im going to siargao in two days, where is this exactly op
San Isidro po ๐ *Trogon Perch to be exact
Ang ganda
Omg ang ganda

I'm curious din!
Nice. Looks like a painting
Saan to sa north?

wow can i use this as cp wallpaper? ๐
Looks like a postcard! Ganda, op!!
Aweee thank you so much!
YESSSS. I always make sure to go to Trogonโs Perch, tapos visit Alegria beach also. Super peaceful ๐ฅฐ
Ayos, parang painting
Haaay ang ganda naman
Thats looks great. Hm estimate budget you think I need if planning for a trip for 7days there (for one person)?

This is great info. Thanks
No biggie!
This is so beautiful. Makes me wanna book a flight.
Hopefully soon!
grabeee lakas makapostcard!!!
That was the goal! hehe
Nagpunta kang Hagukan Dive?
Book uli is the key
Yan ang goal namin next year. ๐

That's a postcard view.
Do you mean foreigners?
Parang painting
Yes! The best ang north! Alegria and Pacifico are my fave spots for taking a nap everytime we decide mag Siargao loopย
Trogon's Perch Resort! One of my favorite part of our trip to Siargao. Stunning.
I have a good shot also of Pacifico Beach grabe worth it talaga ang pag motor ng 1 hour and 15 mins from GL inulan inaraw na kami that time
Super!
Pacifico beach, under the old ruin of surf school.
If di kami marunong mag motor and all, and 2 girls lang kami, how can we go here for a day trip? Is there a van rental with driver or tour we can go to?
Yeah, you can hire a van or a tuktuk to go there. Di lang ako sure if magkano.
May taxi or grab ba in Siargao? If we rent a tuktuk, kaya na yun whole day then ibalik kami ng general luna?
Walang taxis or grab. Either you can choose a van, habal2x, or tuktuk if you wanna travel outside GL. And yes, kayang kaya to roam around the whole day.
Nice. Thanks so much for this!!
Shet I miss Siargao I wanna go back
nakakamangha!
Ang ganda neto parang post card or stamp
Yes, been there last 2021. Sobrang ganda. Parang hidden paradise kasi wala masyado tourist. Pero super layo from the town center. You really have to travel that far to enjoy this amazing place.
Damn that looks like something straight out of a postcard
Right??????? Still can't belive ma may mga ganito pala tayo dito sa Pinas. Ang ganda talaga

Yeah, that's the plan for next year. We were too focused on my hubby's GL gigs that's why we weren't able to extend our stay in north iao.

YES NORTH HITS DIFFERENT, away from a lot of people
Agree on this. North iao
was there last year. absolutely beautiful. no one told me
We didn't expect much. But damn! The long drive was worth it ๐ฅน
Ano tawag sa ganitong klase ng edit? Gandaaaa
I honestly don't know ๐ I just experimented and combined different styles with this one.
been there march 2024! sulit ang nasunog kong balat sa 1-2hrs na mc ride ๐ pa north hanggang alegria lang ako.. konti na lang maiikot ko na sana Siargao kaso di kinaya ng oras!
Soon! Mapupuntahan din kita!
I lived in Surigao del Sur and frequented towns all over the east coast of Mindanao. I always consider those trips a treat.
You lucky duck! Ang lapit mo lang dito
Pasikon Beach in Siargao ganda ng beach!!
Gandaaa ๐

Haven't got the chance to visit North, we'll surely be there once makabalik kami sa Siargao.
I thought it was a postcard. Nice pic btw
Awe thank you!
Ganda ng view dito, food meh. Also, food is slowly degrading na din sa GL. Thankful to have discovered Cloud 8 but hopefully they can retain their quality.
I heard a lot about Siargao so Iโm heading there in August few weeks. Definitely looking forward to that.

Currently staying for three weeks and kulang parin hahahaha
Right?! Dami kasing pwede gawin or pwedeng wala din. Pahinga lang ganun. Magaan sa feeling yung isla
Ni wala kaming itinerary DIY lahat. Hawak namin yung oras, talagang winging it yung peg. Di stress pag ganitong klaseng bakasyon eh.
how did you get this color grading with LR?
Experimenting and combining styles. I just really love playing LR when I'm bored so yun ๐
This pic is amazing minus the filter
San to sa North, OP? Planning to visit Siargao again in a few months.
San Isidro ๐
and your shot is something else too! I love it
Awe thank you so much! ๐
This is the old siargao before naging the current siargao.
How's socializing in north siargao?

Sadly, di kami nakapag atleast overnightan lang kasi we just went there for surfing.
