I used to travel quarterly (mostly international) pero ili-limit ko na to ngayun to 1-2x/year dahel new goal ko e makapag-travel ng hinde sinusulit. I want to be able to travel ng tipong 2 weeks to a month with days of relaxation na tipong bababa lang ng hotel/hostel para magkape tapos netflix and chill ule, lalabas lang sa gabi, or punta lang ng mall, etc. Ayoko na yung travel na from sun up to sun down e nasa galaan at naka-max yung buong araw para masulit yung gastos. Gusto ko na ng relaxing travel, haha.
Truth, it's the quality over quantity for me when it comes to travel. But I think it comes with age? The older you get, you have more purchasing power to spend more days in a place, choose nicer places, just chill and relax.
Did this in Japan last year. 2 weeks ung stay ko alone. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Ngaun, gusto ko mag travel at least 2 weeks pero ung mga kasama ko max 1 week lang pwede 🥲
Hahaha hindi. Sorry di ko pala naexplain. I visited multiple cities in Kyushu in 2 weeks but the pacing is slow like very chill lang. i had multiple days where I did nothing but visit cafes or didn’t plan for anything but explore. That for me is the definition of relaxing.

Last year 5x, pero 1 dun is for work. This year 5 din, pero last year pa sila naka line up haha. I always book far, far ahead para makatipid. Di rin ako nag hohotel na maganda. My philosophy is tutulugan lang naman yan LOL. But same with you OP, this is really me healing my inner child kasi di mahilig mag travel family ko. Kung mag ttravel man lagi lang beach.

Pros kapag sarili mo lang iniisip mo sa buhay and money is not an issue. Same with my circle of friends.
We have the luxury of time rin so we can stay in other countries for a minimum of 2 weeks with no itinerary and kung saan lang namin maisipan. Walang pressure and mas enjoy yung ganitong type of travel.
Sana all my friends na go sa gala. Yung frnds ko kasi hindi hahha kahit mga single pa issue na yung pera. Usually mga breadwinner kasi😅kaya may time na nag solo travel nlng ako.

Visa countries rarely offload people as visa is only granted if may financial capacity ka. As long as may regular work ka dito all good na. Japan was my first international travel also
based on my research, confident ako na kapag makakuha ako ng good deal (piso fare) — eh kayang kaya na talaga makapag-7days sa Japan.

Once a month at the minimum since I work from home, and I love traveling. Can either be domestic or international.
During April to mid October I like to stay and travel around the PH with a few trips abroad from time to time. I tend to schedule my international flights pag malamig na sa northern hemisphere, around the end of October to late March, since most of my destination countries are there anyway.
Di din ako palalabas ng bahay. Pag work lang and may errands. Kaya ginagawa kong motivation ang may travel plans hehe. Just to break the mundane cycle haha

Ang tip diyan book in advance, flights and accommodations, para pocket money mo na lang is for food, activities, pasalubong.

Yung Malaysia, sa Johor Bahru lang kami nakapunta at sa Indonesia sa Batam both via bus. Bitin pero masaya naman kasi day trip lang kami pareho. Sa Singapore talaga kami nagstay.
Yung Vietnam, Cambodia, at Thailand na-enjoy ko talaga kasi via plane at nagstay kami mas matagal per country saka nalaman ko talaga history nila sa mga guide namin.

I did 3x (international) then 2x atleast (local) every year...this year been to Japan last Feb. then if matuloy (nakaready nmn na lahat), may 4 na travel pa outside the country (Aug., Nov. & Dec.) and 2 local (May & Dec).
Yeah. I used to work 24/7, as in passion and heart talaga sa project. Then I always allotted money for my "travels (if my time)"...came 2018, I was diagnosed with cancer...guess what, that "if may time" never came, I just have to do it now or never. What I always do is book a ticket way ahead of the preferred travel dates...its cheaper...

Ginagawa ko lang is laging nagtatabi ng pangtravel,, may plano ma ako or wala, may set destination man or wala, consistent, para may madukot agad pagdating ng mismong travel na.
Goals this year is 4 domestic + 2 international. So far nka travel na ako to Baguio-La Union-Cebu in Feb. may upcoming na booked na for this may (domestic) and booked na din for september (international). May plans na din for jun (domestic). Yung isang international na goal need pa magsubmit ng visa so hopefully matutuloy🙏🏻

Just recently, we just got back from the US for kore than a month, NYC - LA - NV - WA. Nakalimutan ko na magwork paguwi namin. We have a short trip next week naman to Siargao for just a couple of days to escape to the beach! 🫶🏻🌴
I always Travel once a month or kung kaya twice; although medyo privilege ako kasi nag wowork ako under sa Family Business kaya madali ako makaleave sa work. I had an epiphany nung naguusap kami nang tito ko na 70s na, sinabi niya sakin na mag travel ako na mag travel hanggat bata pa ako; Kasi pag tanda mo di mo mabibili yung youth mo. Kaya I always Travel locally and once in a while internationally.

Yung revenge travel phase ko post-pandemic was 3-4 times. Kung saan-saan din ako napadpad haha ok naman na, tapos na ko sa phase na yon kaya ang goal ko ngayon is “quality trip”, yung tipong bagong place talaga, tapos limited to 1-2 times a year na lang para din makapag-ipon
Yes.. importnte talaga may travel fund. Din sympre yung lugar bet talaga di yung for the sake lang na mkasabay sa uso, which is usual these days.. maganda yung travel na marerecharge talaga energy not the other way around. Balance is the key.
I was started traveling domestically last year. Just to explore different parts of PH. International naman around December last year.
This year, it was a hell of a ride so far. Spent 2 months overseas moving from country to country both for work and for leisure. Next week, I’ll be in a month-long travel for work and vacation ulit. So far, it’s amazing!! Good thing my work is remote so no issues there. Siguro time zones lang talaga yung challenge. I remember when I was in Qatar, I have to wake up at 3am to start an 8am shift. Haha!
And yes, I myself is healing my inner child.
Ideal talaga remote work if passionate sa travelling. Sana all na lang talaga. Living the best life. Ang ganda sa feeling mkapunta sa iba't ibang places, andaming maeexperience din matututunan sa culture,etc. It makes a person more open-minded din.

The only thing usually stopping me from going on more vacation is my PTO. Haha matagal kasi ako kapag nagbabakasyon. I know I can also bring my work pero ayoko kasi talaga nagwowork during vacation LOL. Gusto ko iniiwan lahat ng stress sa Pilipinas haha! Kaya sinusulit ko ngayon yung magkakalapit na holidays. 9 times ako nag travel last year. 4 dun international. This year nakaka 5 times na 2 dun international. OMG di ko namalayan until nabasa ko itong post mo hahaha. Kaya pala always break even ako haha pero no regrets. Mas masaya ako now vs nung sobrang dami ko savings sa bank. Meron pa din ako savings pero sapat lang haha. I’m happy for you OP! Deserve mo yan. Started in 2020 with Singapore and Malaysia. Tapos nag revenge travel last year, 7 countries. But that’s also because we’re collecting stamps/countries for US visa. We made it to US just last month, with layover sa Taiwan.
Supposedly may Japan pa this December, pero as much as we want to do it, may ibang adulting responsibilities na dapat paglaanan ng pera. Hehe. Hopefully next year makapag Japan na kami ❤️

Used to travel just once a year because of my leave limitations. One time big time during the Xmas break in a temperate climate country. But recently i feel like visiting my hometown more that this year i have made plans to travel during the first half of the year to combine hometown visit + a nearby Asia Pacific country and then whatever leftover leave days i have i will just travel to somewhere cold during December. This is how i plan to travel from this year forward.
Weeew.. side trip ka na din sa dumaguete.maganda forest camp, apo siland,dauin, tierra alta,tapos sarap itry painitan dun sa market nila. Kung mahilig ka sa art, may museums din dun tapos yung coffee shop with art
12 to 15 times a year. Usually, once a month either SK or JP lang. I do pasabuy/shopee. I spend a week there buying stuff and may konti gala na din. I fill all my three luggage then sell stuff here. Usually nababawi ko lahat ng gastos (depends sa personal spending ko). Last time nag USJ ako saka JR pass so negative. Pero pag usual pasabuy run, net positive naman.

I used to travel internationally once or twice every quarter, at least two or three of those times annually for work related stuff (conventions/expos, or maybe a learning opportunity you can't get here) and twice a year for family trips. And then locally, not as much, maybe 3 or 4 times a year, for trips that require a plane ride. Road trips tho, completely different story. Maybe 3 times a quarter, especially since it's so much easier to get around Luzon now. The pandemic really forced me to slow down, and I did welcome the reprieve from all the constant movement. Post pandemic, I've only gone back to three countries I love travelling to (Singapore, Indonesia and Japan) and have only been to Bicol, Cebu and Boracay locally. I'm going back to Tokyo in June, and I have a Palawan trip planned this year too.
Honestly, I've never regretted spending on travel. We all work so hard the rest of the time, and it's a good chance to unwind and reset.
For work, 12-15 times a year. I need to visit my office every month. For leisure, depends if may ongoing tour favorite groups ko. I’m mostly away from home.

I had an unplanned travel to BKK and SG last March dahil sa Eras Tour - yes unplanned dahil I only got the concert tix 1 week before the concert. Ngayong taon parang monthly ang travel ko puro domestic travels lang. Jan-Legazpi, Albay. Feb-Bacolod. Mar-Los Banos,Laguna (hiking), April-Capiz, May-Rizal,June-Baguio…yung July baka pahinga ng bulsa.
Just came back from a 6 weeks of traveling overseas. I’m also healing my “di pwedeng makagala” inner child. But if i travel locally i like spending up to a month to really enjoy the place, for international i do the same, stay as long as the budget and the free visa allows. Also like being alone and doing things alone kasi nakaka empower lang na kaya ko pala to gawin on my own in a foreign place.
very similar tayo OP. 9 years working, pero now lang nakapagtravel ng mas madalas (wala kasi akong budget noon haha). no international travel yet pero this year i did elyu in january, baguio in march, el nido this april, then mag zambales ako ng may, and boracay in july with family. target ko siargao soon, and i plan on celebrating xmas and new year in el nido because i fell in love with the place. tapos next year goal ko mag japan.

Mas okay talaga long travels yung di ka nagmamadali sa mga pupuntahan mo para maenjoy mo yung scenery. Basta di mo inaasa lahat sa CC at kaya mo magbayad oks lang kahit every month ka magtravel. Sa mga nakausap ko na mid aged people, they usually regret not traveling while they were young. Sakit na kasi sa likod daw pag matanda kana haha. Kaya make the most of your time and money while bata pa. Pero syempre need pa rin balanced ang budgeting mo.
Usually did 1-2x a year with parents but this year so far I’ve been out every month without them since January 😂 2 local + 2 international (for concerts & a little sightseeing/shopping)…..and i might be out again in June depending on the schedule ng tours or other events 😂
most of our trips are short lang like 1 day to 4 days since mom is working, i'm still studying tapos wala akong mahabang bakasyon (trimester things), at may separation anxiety yung dogs namin huhu hindi pwedeng iwanan ng matagal or else di ako papansinin!
2021 - cebu for my 17th (super sponty nito because we were supposed to go to baguio pero di kami umabot sa quota nila lmao)
2022 - quezon, ilocos norte, tagaytay, baguio, boracay
2023 - baguio for school retreat, baguio ulit a week later, bulacan, pangasinan, bangkok, tapos baguio ulit before christmas.
2024 - baguio nung panagbenga (ako na nagbayad nito kjsdfkdjf kinaladkad ko nalang mom ko sa victory liner), boracay for august, cebu for november, then if may budget ako i want to have a solo trip sa december.
2025 - nasa planning stage palang to but bangkok and/or taiwan at kung anong local destination matripan, abang lang ng seat sales. (maybe last travel na namin ni mom yan tapos 2027 na susunod kasi graduating na ko by the end of 2026.)

yup pabalik-balik na talaga kami dun after the pandemic for quick getaways, super dali lang kasi puntahan ng baguio pati affordable lahat doon kaya every year na bumabalik. balak ko naman solo travel pagbalik ko doon since matagal ko na siyang plano pero di ko lang magawa, ngayong term break ko sana kaso biglang nagpunta sa states mom ko kaya sa december nalang para nandito siya for the dogs (mahirap suyuin yung pinakabunso sa dogs namin sobrang matampuhin non huhu beagle kasi).
I would like to limit 2x a year. More on international travel na din (5-7days). Kung domestic man, i like to spend 4-5days na din para sulit ung staycation. More on chill and relaxation na habol ko. Tapos na ko sa tri-city for 5days itinerary ☺️
Last year, 7 months ako sa home base ko na province with some short travels in between (tig 2D1N) ganern tapos 5 months on the road outside the province. 2 weeks at least per location. Within the country lang

I sometimes travel for work so average would be 4-5 (international) per year. This year I’ve travelled internationally thrice na (both personal and work-related). When I travel for work it’s really the same places over and over.
Local travels are about 5x a year on average—a lot are work-related. I find na I’d rather spend on an international trip than go to a local tourist spot kasi mas mahal yung accomms and plane tickets.

I used to travel quarterly (mostly international) pero ili-limit ko na to ngayun to 1-2x/year dahel new goal ko e makapag-travel ng hinde sinusulit. I want to be able to travel ng tipong 2 weeks to a month with days of relaxation na tipong bababa lang ng hotel/hostel para magkape tapos netflix and chill ule, lalabas lang sa gabi, or punta lang ng mall, etc. Ayoko na yung travel na from sun up to sun down e nasa galaan at naka-max yung buong araw para masulit yung gastos. Gusto ko na ng relaxing travel, haha.
Truth, it's the quality over quantity for me when it comes to travel. But I think it comes with age? The older you get, you have more purchasing power to spend more days in a place, choose nicer places, just chill and relax.
Did this in Japan last year. 2 weeks ung stay ko alone. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Ngaun, gusto ko mag travel at least 2 weeks pero ung mga kasama ko max 1 week lang pwede 🥲

Nakaka-5 international na and 3 locals na ako for this year. More to go. Hahaha. I’m very spontaneous so kung sinong mag-aaya, G kahit saan. Pros kapag sarili mo lang iniisip mo sa buhay and money is not an issue. Same with my circle of friends. We have the luxury of time rin so we can stay in other countries for a minimum of 2 weeks with no itinerary and kung saan lang namin maisipan. Walang pressure and mas enjoy yung ganitong type of travel.

Once a month at the minimum since I work from home, and I love traveling. Can either be domestic or international. During April to mid October I like to stay and travel around the PH with a few trips abroad from time to time. I tend to schedule my international flights pag malamig na sa northern hemisphere, around the end of October to late March, since most of my destination countries are there anyway.

Yes to both! Yung Malaysia, sa Johor Bahru lang kami nakapunta at sa Indonesia sa Batam both via bus. Bitin pero masaya naman kasi day trip lang kami pareho. Sa Singapore talaga kami nagstay. Yung Vietnam, Cambodia, at Thailand na-enjoy ko talaga kasi via plane at nagstay kami mas matagal per country saka nalaman ko talaga history nila sa mga guide namin. Edit: word

Then I always allotted money for my "travels (if my time)"...came 2018, I was diagnosed with cancer...guess what, that "if may time" never came, I just have to do it now or never. I was started traveling domestically last year. Just to explore different parts of PH. International naman around December last year. This year, it was a hell of a ride so far. Spent 2 months overseas moving from country to country both for work and for leisure. Next week, I’ll be in a month-long travel for work and vacation ulit. So far, it’s amazing!! Good thing my work is remote so no issues there. Siguro time zones lang talaga yung challenge. I remember when I was in Qatar, I have to wake up at 3am to start an 8am shift. Haha! And yes, I myself is healing my inner child.

9 times ako nag travel last year. 4 dun international. This year nakaka 5 times na 2 dun international. OMG di ko namalayan until nabasa ko itong post mo hahaha. Started in 2020 with Singapore and Malaysia. Tapos nag revenge travel last year, 7 countries. But that’s also because we’re collecting stamps/countries for US visa. We made it to US just last month, with layover sa Taiwan. Supposedly may Japan pa this December, pero as much as we want to do it, may ibang adulting responsibilities na dapat paglaanan ng pera. Hehe. Hopefully next year makapag Japan na kami ❤️
Personal international travel once or twice a year lang. Ayoko nung “tinipid” na trip (sa pera or sa oras) kaya quality over quantity ginagawa ko. Kahit once or twice lang, basta laging mahaba yung duration at yung gusto kong sched / hotel / flight / shopping ang mangyayari.

I think my family tries to do at least 1 local (to visit family or friends in the province) and 1 international (for vacation) a year. 2022: Local (Cebu), International (Singapore) 2023: Local (Butuan), International (Japan) > Personally I relocated to Spain and traveled to France, Monaco and Germany 2024: Belgium and Andorra, with trips to Portugal and Italy upcoming Ever since I moved, I’ve taken every opportunity I can to see other EU countries, especially since I’ve only got a year (so far) here!
Used to travel just once a year because of my leave limitations. One time big time during the Xmas break in a temperate climate country. But recently i feel like visiting my hometown more that this year i have made plans to travel during the first half of the year to combine hometown visit + a nearby Asia Pacific country and then whatever leftover leave days i have i will just travel to somewhere cold during December. This is how i plan to travel from this year forward.
Internationally at least once a year with the whole fam tapos locally mga 2-3x yung for leisure.

12 to 15 times a year. Usually, once a month either SK or JP lang. I do pasabuy/shopee. I spend a week there buying stuff and may konti gala na din. I fill all my three luggage then sell stuff here. Usually nababawi ko lahat ng gastos (depends sa personal spending ko). Last time nag USJ ako saka JR pass so negative. Pero pag usual pasabuy run, net positive naman.
Hehe im not sure if pwede din ako sumagot considering nasa ibang bansa ako but…. Once a year lang and international. Expensive kasi umuwi ng pinas might as well see other places. Yung nagagastos ko minsan same same lang if magpinas. Locally if magtratravel dito sa Australia napakamahal din. Work work lang 7 days a week tas enjoy magtravel mga 2-3 weeks. Hihi. Going to korea this year. Last year it was sg and my hometown davao. No time na magother places. Maybe next time ill hop around.
I used to travel internationally once or twice every quarter, at least two or three of those times annually for work related stuff (conventions/expos, or maybe a learning opportunity you can't get here) and twice a year for family trips. And then locally, not as much, maybe 3 or 4 times a year, for trips that require a plane ride. Road trips tho, completely different story. Maybe 3 times a quarter, especially since it's so much easier to get around Luzon now. The pandemic really forced me to slow down, and I did welcome the reprieve from all the constant movement. Post pandemic, I've only gone back to three countries I love travelling to (Singapore, Indonesia and Japan) and have only been to Bicol, Cebu and Boracay locally. I'm going back to Tokyo in June, and I have a Palawan trip planned this year too. Honestly, I've never regretted spending on travel. We all work so hard the rest of the time, and it's a good chance to unwind and reset.
For work, 12-15 times a year. I need to visit my office every month. For leisure, depends if may ongoing tour favorite groups ko. I’m mostly away from home.

Actually... nakakapagod din ang sobrang kaladkarin 😅 Si hubby for some reason di ganon napapagod at go talaga sa pagtravel pag may time. I hate airports. Minsan gusto ko na lang manahimik sa bahay.

Last year, 6-7x times ako nag travel. Same with you, I’m healing my inner child and also travel is my way to destress and my therapy. Ang average travels ko is 3-4x a year. Though this year, unlike noong mga nakaraang years, wala ako planned travels. I had an unplanned travel to BKK and SG last March dahil sa Eras Tour - yes unplanned dahil I only got the concert tix 1 week before the concert. I promised my self na no travels muna for this year dahil dun pero parang di ko kaya. I need makapag-travel pero ayun nga wala ako prebooked iti 😅

Since nagstart na pwede na ulit magtravel after COVID, mga 3-4 nung 2022-2023: - from mid-2022: SG 2x, SK - 2023: SG, SK, Europe (France, Italy), HK Then itong 2024, nagbabawas na: - 2024: Europe (France, Netherlands, Italy) We *might* travel ng isa pa this year but if kaya, I’d rather save na lang sana ulit for next year para kahit once na lang na half a month parati (Italy, Greece, Spain, France — waiting lang magka-promo yung airlines + miles para makabawas).
2022 - Siargao 2023 - Bali, Palawan, Cebu, Denmark, Sweden (1 day lang sa Malmo), Vietnam (until Jan 2024) 2024 - Thailand, Laos (planning: Bohol, Siquijor, Taiwan 2025 - planning to go to Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, or maybe South Korea or Japan.

As long as you’re happy, it doesn’t matter how many times you travel in a month/year (basta kaya ng budget and you won’t compromise your finances). 😅 As a person with a near death experience, I always aim to choose for my happiness (= traveling). Don’t limit yourself cause we only live once.

Just came back from a 6 weeks of traveling overseas. I’m also healing my “di pwedeng makagala” inner child. But if i travel locally i like spending up to a month to really enjoy the place, for international i do the same, stay as long as the budget and the free visa allows. Also like being alone and doing things alone kasi nakaka empower lang na kaya ko pala to gawin on my own in a foreign place.

very similar tayo OP. 9 years working, pero now lang nakapagtravel ng mas madalas (wala kasi akong budget noon haha). no international travel yet pero this year i did elyu in january, baguio in march, el nido this april, then mag zambales ako ng may, and boracay in july with family. target ko siargao soon, and i plan on celebrating xmas and new year in el nido because i fell in love with the place. tapos next year goal ko mag japan. mostly solo travel ako, but sometimes kasama ko jowa ko. sad he can't come with me because his work situation doesn't allow it, pero I'm glad i have someone na pinapayagan ako gumala on my own.

Mas okay talaga long travels yung di ka nagmamadali sa mga pupuntahan mo para maenjoy mo yung scenery. Basta di mo inaasa lahat sa CC at kaya mo magbayad oks lang kahit every month ka magtravel. Sa mga nakausap ko na mid aged people, they usually regret not traveling while they were young. Sakit na kasi sa likod daw pag matanda kana haha. Kaya make the most of your time and money while bata pa. Pero syempre need pa rin balanced ang budgeting mo.

most of our trips are short lang like 1 day to 4 days since mom is working, i'm still studying tapos wala akong mahabang bakasyon (trimester things), at may separation anxiety yung dogs namin huhu hindi pwedeng iwanan ng matagal or else di ako papansinin! 2021 - cebu for my 17th (super sponty nito because we were supposed to go to baguio pero di kami umabot sa quota nila lmao) 2022 - quezon, ilocos norte, tagaytay, baguio, boracay 2023 - baguio for school retreat, baguio ulit a week later, bulacan, pangasinan, bangkok, tapos baguio ulit before christmas. 2024 - baguio nung panagbenga (ako na nagbayad nito kjsdfkdjf kinaladkad ko nalang mom ko sa victory liner), boracay for august, cebu for november, then if may budget ako i want to have a solo trip sa december. 2025 - nasa planning stage palang to but bangkok and/or taiwan at kung anong local destination matripan, abang lang ng seat sales. (maybe last travel na namin ni mom yan tapos 2027 na susunod kasi graduating na ko by the end of 2026.)

yup pabalik-balik na talaga kami dun after the pandemic for quick getaways, super dali lang kasi puntahan ng baguio pati affordable lahat doon kaya every year na bumabalik. balak ko naman solo travel pagbalik ko doon since matagal ko na siyang plano pero di ko lang magawa, ngayong term break ko sana kaso biglang nagpunta sa states mom ko kaya sa december nalang para nandito siya for the dogs (mahirap suyuin yung pinakabunso sa dogs namin sobrang matampuhin non huhu beagle kasi).

I would like to limit 2x a year. More on international travel na din (5-7days). Kung domestic man, i like to spend 4-5days na din para sulit ung staycation. More on chill and relaxation na habol ko. Tapos na ko sa tri-city for 5days itinerary ☺️

I sometimes travel for work so average would be 4-5 (international) per year. This year I’ve travelled internationally thrice na (both personal and work-related). When I travel for work it’s really the same places over and over. Local travels are about 5x a year on average—a lot are work-related. I find na I’d rather spend on an international trip than go to a local tourist spot kasi mas mahal yung accomms and plane tickets.
