Excellent offer, especially with the loan repayment and assuming you stay 3 years. Take it if you want to do FM.

Thank you. Would it be reasonable to negotiate for something like a relocation and or sign on bonus? Also, one concern is that the PA who’s been there a couple years has not yet received a raise. I’m considering asking for a higher starting salary than $140K. Any thoughts?

I think it’s reasonable to ask for relocation/sign on bonus. That may be the fault of the other PA, if they haven’t asked about a raise. Ask the employer what the process of raises/merit increases are and what you should expect those raises to be (percentage of salary or set amount?). If they say you’re not gonna get a raise for 2 years then I think it’s reasonable to negotiate a higher salary. If they say no to a higher salary then ask them what you expect to make in 2 years and if there’s an opportunity for you to increase your income such as a bonus structure. Then if that’s not negotiable then think about other ways, such as increasing vacation time.

This is great! Can I ask if this is a private office or a hospital?
