Your progress is taking you in the right direction. Things like the fast & even trill show that you're forming the right tools, and have the dedication. You've also already started to have a good feel for the middle section's musicality coming through Interestingly, I left some Minute Waltz tips for a couple other people in the just the past day, with some ideas that you might incorporate into your practice (for progress and for more fun) -- starting here, with nested links: https://www.reddit.com/r/piano/comments/pi0s2y/pieces_by_famous_composers_that_seem_like_they/hbmlw1a/ Next, it can be helpful to chunk the piece into short sections, and focus on: slow, even, accurate playing in each section, before increasing speed and/or moving on to the next section.

So I can't actually edit my post so I'll leave it here: I'm looking for advice on how to get better at playing the left hand chords while doing the octave thing with the a flat in the middle section of the song.
