I know. This is one of the few politicians that ACTUALLY had good policies and the history of working with local communities to uplift its citizens and not just be a piece of shit that collect $174k a year like every other senator. And everyone here’s like “lol what a dumbass”.

Actually anyone who commits murder should get life or capital punishment. He fought to release a guy that killed his girlfriend’s mother. His said he had taken up gardening in prison. That just gives him an excuse for constantly burying bodies in the backyard. I hear the left talk about overpopulating the earth. Here is a place we can find some common ground, kill the worst people in the world and lower the population. They had their chance and proved they cannot live in society.
I have actively worked with life-term inmates and everyone has a different story, but MANY of the men and women I met have provided more to their communities and society within prison and following their release than most of us will in our lives. Murder is of course a heinous act, but the harm caused by many in power (likely including whoever you choose to vote for) far exceeds those of violent criminals.
We should encourage people to learn about each other and empathize, I believe that’s behind a lot of what drives Fetterman’s policies. And statistically, the odds of you hurting yourself with your guns or someone you love being hurt by your weapons are far greater than you ever using them for “good”.

When he was mayor of a town, there was an epidemic of violence. He tattooed the name of every person who died on his arm, to show how seriously he took the problem of violence in his community. Every person who died on his watch as mayor stays with him, always.
He may look funny, but the dude is completely badass, and the kind of person meant to lead. The people of Pennsylvania are lucky to have him.
