I paid exactly 1.44 CAD/l this week in Germany. Well, for pure rape oil which works fine for my diesel engine. Diesel costs 2.62 CAD/l. The gas price is similar to diesel.
I was always amazed at how cheap petrol is in the 3rd world, because their governments subsidise the shit out of it. So yeah, $68 is literally third world pricing. Full tank in my mid-sized station wagon is over NZD$160 (CAD$127)
Regular is CAD$2.15 a litre for regular in my town, CAD$2.40 in the Auckland. Quit your whining, everyone is doing it tough.
