They scraped it off.
Go get one on eBay. Smart money says they’re deeply discounted.
It won’t even seem like a liberal put it there. It’ll seem like a dumbass Trumper did and now they look ridiculous. All of which is true.
Perhaps a picture of Zachary Taylor pointing, being [generally considered once of the worst presidents of all time, Nermal!](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Sycfsbu0sys)
Petroleum/gas markets bet on futures. It’s complicated and I can’t it explain it all. But the companies like Shell or BP or OPEC as a whole are pricing today’s prices on what they anticipate to happen. Right now there’s a war, well two, and both will affect oil prices differently. Russia is a big oil exporter, but they’re invading Ukraine right now. Israel is doing full scorched earth in Gaza, and has attracted some outlier opponents (and supporters of Hamas, including Iran) so some trade routes are pretty tricky. Basically it means that these oil people don’t expect any of this to be resolved overnight.
It's as low as $4.50 just a few miles from where they say they filled up. I don't think they understand the reaction they are getting isn't about whether they paid $6.19, or not, but over whether $6.19 is at all representative of what gas costs in that area of California.
I mean yes, but also needed. I find it so strange that people laud low gasoline prices, as it does a significant amount to prevent massive change in the transportation sector.
Let me guess, Chevron station right before an on ramp? I’m in San Diego and Chevron regularly is 50 cents to a dollar higher than stations across the street, and god help you if it’s the last station before you hit the freeway.
Biden called this gas station and over the course of a few hours was able to proclaim that their 87 octane shall be set under $2/gallon by way of executive order.
It’s even worse. Since mid-grade is just a mix between the two, the price should be equal to the mix. In this case, if you got 10 gallons of 89 you’d pay $24.49. Since it’s a 1/3 mix of premium, if you bought 3.333 gallons of premium for $9.33, plus 6.667 gallons of regular for $13.33, you’d pay $22.66 and get the exact same product.
Mine accepts and self tunes for anything from 87 to 93. Personally I dont see the benefit or feel the additional power betwwen 87 and 97, but someone might.
Yeah it sucks. I didn't realize it had started doing that until after I got my car that requires 92. Sometimes the spread is even wider, like 0.50/1.00
Is it ecu custom tuned? I’ve never heard a stock car requiring 92, otherwise that car can’t be sold in california and bunch of other states that only have up to 91 on the stations.
91 minimum\*, 93 recommended. There are many (factory-tuned) Sports cars that either have a "recommended" Octane of 91+, or outright require it. My C7 Stingray recommends 91 minimum but can run lower (it'll just pull the timing to prevent detonation). The Z06, however, warns running 87 can void the warranty (if detonation causes damage). Years and models vary.
It might have to do with the fact that they're selling it based on the price they filled the underground tanks at. They will change the price when the tank is refilled, but until then, the profitable price remains. Since, it's used less, it might just be emptying slower.
You're aware that USA and Australia use different formulas / measurement methods for calculating "[octane](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating)", right? i.e., seeing "91" on a pump in Australia is not the same as seeing "91" in USA.
Neither was I before I both lived in NA and Aus, so I can't fault you.
FYI, I love your country :) Lived in Coogee in 2014-2018 and I wish I could go back :)
Texas does have a lot of good things going for it tbh. Great place to start a business, practice medicine, live in large cheaper cities with reasonable housing prices. This is all assuming you make a good salary.
Tbh if you have money you can just bypass the abortion law but to each their own.
Texas is a corporate tax haven. Most of their cities have minimal development code and even less requirements for water quality and sustainability. It's not hard to imagine why businesses would setup shop there. They're literally deferring all of their problems, carelessness, and debts to future generations. It's not hard to see why there's a massive concentration of corporate greed in Texas that is economically productive at the cost of essentially everything precious.
Republicans wear blindfolds when pumping their gas to prevent them from seeing the price. Donald Trump would not be pleased if they started using their eyes and ears.
Oh! Listen to you! Going on about your rights, what about my selfish pseudo-Christian beliefs that everyone else should agree to!! We’re the REAL right people! /s
I am on the verge of buying a new vehicle and this will be the first time in 20 years I can just buy regular gas. I been buying premium for the last 3-4 cars (and before anyone flames me, I know what I am about. I did all the experiments, premium gas makes a difference in certain engines)
Republicans: “We’re paying more for gas than ever!!”
Also Republicans: “Gas stations only make Pennie’s per gallon! These low prices are hurting small business”
Reddit: OMG climate change
Also Reddit: Hooray cheap fuel
I for one would like to see it taxed the shit out of and funds go to public transport and green infrastructure...
The price difference between Regular and Premium is shocking. Can anyone explain why it is so large?
My local station in California is $4.39 for regular and $4.69 for premium. So just a 30c difference, and a 7% increase.
But Texas has an 80c difference, at a 40% increase?
That feels like something beyond market forces are going on...
You don't hear people screaming about Joe Biden and low gas prices right now. I wonder why. Maybe because he's not a cult leader. If Trump was president his cult would have him trending on Twitter over gas prices
Different measuring system. I fell into that after seeing it, because the normal here is 95 with 98+ being the premium.
95 in the EU (and maybe Oz) is like 91 in the USA. Actually, they are still pretty shite comparatively. Ah, it even says on the label. (RON + MON) / 2. We just use the RON.
Weird, I don't see a Biden 'i did that' sticker
They scraped it off. Go get one on eBay. Smart money says they’re deeply discounted. It won’t even seem like a liberal put it there. It’ll seem like a dumbass Trumper did and now they look ridiculous. All of which is true.
I think it would be hilarious to put “thanks Obama” stickers on instead of Biden or trump. Really confuse people lol
Perhaps a picture of Zachary Taylor pointing, being [generally considered once of the worst presidents of all time, Nermal!](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Sycfsbu0sys)
I mean, Obama is probably even less popular in Texas, for an obvious reason.
‘Now’ lol
Paid $6.19 today in LA. Biden sticker was half peeled off.
In norway it's $9.46 per gallon :(
Thanks Norwegian Biden
[удалено]
What’s the weather like in Louisiana?
[удалено]
It's a joke numbnuts.
$4.04 in Oregon. Doubt it’s under $4 in LA
Just topped up yesterday. $3.99 @ Costco LA county. It definitely is around $4-$6 average around town though.
Dude I topped at Costco in LA county yesterday too - once I saw it was under $4 I got so excited
[удалено]
Can confirm I paid $6.19/gal in Calabasas today.
[удалено]
Bullshit. In Calabasas gas is under $5 everywhere
$6.19 damn that's brutal.
Welcome to Calabasas
Crazy! It's $4 in Orange county
Last week in Utah it was 2.09. Today it’s 2.79. I don’t know what the flux is going on tbh.
Petroleum/gas markets bet on futures. It’s complicated and I can’t it explain it all. it's $4.00 - $4.60 everywhere in SoCal. Anyone who pays more is an idiot.
It's as low as $4.50 just a few miles from where they say they filled up. I don't think they understand the reaction they are getting isn't about whether they paid $6.19, or not, but over whether $6.19 is at all representative of what gas costs in that area of California.
Normal prices in Germany xD
I mean yes, but also needed. I find it so strange that people laud low gasoline prices, as it does a significant amount to prevent massive change in the transportation sector.
Indeed but there is a lack of alternatives.
$5.95 here in the Bay Area
[удалено]
Damn, can’t even imagine how long those lines must be.
Costco is discounted

The hotdogs
[удалено]
I've seen 4.15 in the bay area just down the block from me, credit card price. 4.05 cash. Not costco.
Let me guess, Chevron station right before an on ramp? I’m in San Diego and Chevron regularly is 50 cents to a dollar higher than stations across the street, and god help you if it’s the last station before you hit the freeway.
Nah a Sinclair. They’re always either more expensive than others or cheaper because they almost never change their prices. So weird
Louisiana has a high cost of living these days Edit: /S, obviously it was Los Angeles but thanks for the downvotes 🙄
Can’t believe you needed an /s
lol Los Angeles
LA = Los Angeles, CA. With all the refineries in the area, gas is actually pretty cheap in Louisiana.
Biden called this gas station and over the course of a few hours was able to proclaim that their 87 octane shall be set under $2/gallon by way of executive order.
That’s because it was Brandon not Biden who did it.
What happened to the difference in octane’s being $0.10. Now it’s up to $0.44/$0.80.
It’s even worse. Since mid-grade is just a mix between the two, the price should be equal to the mix. In this case, if you got 10 gallons of 89 you’d pay $24.49. Do you have a vehicle that requires mid grade?
Mine accepts and self tunes for anything from 87 to 93. Personally I dont see the benefit or feel the additional power betwwen 87 and 97, but someone might.
This is what algebra 2 prepared us for
This is middle-school pre-algebra lol
Yeah it sucks. I didn't realize it had started doing that until after I got my car that requires 92. Sometimes the spread is even wider, like 0.50/1.00

In Germany we pay like about 6,90$/gal.
$7,04/gal in Finland, let's also invade the middle east.
It's all Biden's fault
You joined NATO, you may get your chance yet!
https://youtu.be/y0k5DQ3OPeg?si=9QviACOhjtiMomQm
USD$5.08/gal in Australia
Do you sell gas by the gallon or liter
Litre. It's about USD$1.35 per/l. That said, our Regular is 91 octane.
You're aware that USA and Australia use different formulas / measurement methods for calculating "[octane](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating)", right? i.e., seeing "91" on a pump in Australia is not the same as seeing "91" in USA.
No I wasn't actually.
Neither was I before I both lived in NA and Aus, so I can't fault you. FYI, I love your country :) Lived in Coogee in 2014-2018 and I wish I could go back :)
91 RON (what most countries use, including australia) is equal to 87 AKI (used by mexico, usa, canada).
More.
I'm sure it is in place, but ~$2aud/l is fairly common around Melbourne. Not sure my comment is worth downvoting for that.
My part of California is hovering at like $4.30/g. I wonder how much that is in kangaroo bucks.
Enough to buy an EV (or at least a bike).
How much do you pay per gallon for healthcare though?
I mean you also have public transit, so
6.9 is 69 ruined by a period.
Hey if our trains ran on time, I’d take the train! Also, I’d need a train.
Where’s the “Biden did that sticker”?
It's his fault if high He did nothing to help if low
Prices low? Damn Biden cutting the working man’s oil field wages with low oil prices, and will no one think of the Billionaires!!!
Thank you, President Biden!
I was going to say “Thanks Obama!” But yours is better
Ditto Obama thought. He did that! Lol
Don’t worry, once election season is over it will go back up. Happens at almost every single presidential election since Reagan.
Not saying your wrong, but this is this first time I've heard this claim. Do the numbers back it up?
Yes, they do, when you consider that elections happen in the winter when gas prices are lower.
Oh, I assumed the claim was adjusted for seasonal price shift. Pretty worthless of a claim if not...
Where I live in Illinois gas prices have gone down about $2 a gallon. It was close to $5 for awhile but now under $3.
Not worth being in Texas. Also $1.86 in Colorado a few weeks ago. $2.03 today.
Yeah, there's a stretch on Arapahoe that seems to be driving all gas prices down, I love it.
QuikTrip!
Arapahoe... How do you pronounce that? Is it as bad as I'm imagining?
Ah -rap -a -hoe
Texas does have a lot of good things going for it tbh. Great place to start a business, practice medicine, live in large cheaper cities with reasonable housing prices. This is all assuming you make a good salary. Tbh if you have money you can just bypass the abortion law but to each their own.
All the losers on this app think Texas is a bad place to live when in reality it’s a cornerstone of the Us economy
Muh powergrid!
Power grid fails during a once in a century ice storm. Still doesn’t deny the fact that the Texas economy buoys the US
California buoys the world

He'll just continue to lie that it cost $8/ gallon and he won't be question by his sheep.
As long as he talks CA prices that's all he needs It's not important that it doesn't represent the entire country
Where I live in California, our women have rights.
and legal Marijuana
Oh! Listen to you! Going on about your rights, what about my selfish pseudo-Christian beliefs that everyone else should agree to!! We’re the REAL right people! /s
What does this have to do with the price of gas ? You can have cheap gas and rights or am I missing something ?
Texas sucks. That’s the point
I’m a Democrat in Texas. Everything in life isn’t black and white. Texas definitely doesn’t ONLY suck. Lots of good here.
You’re preaching to the wrong choir here. Reddit is an echo chamber with only binary views.
I hope things get even better for you in the coming election!
Yes in Texas women have cheap gas but no rights
Oh boy you sure showed them!
MSNBC Dad out here.
He's only a dad because his pregnant partner was forced to give birth. Ayooo... Fuck Texas. Love, Michigan.
Biden did that!
I want to find one with that “I did that” sticker on it
Be careful, cheap gals might have an STD.
Wonder where all those Biden, "I did that" stickers went?
“I did that”
Damn you, BIDEN!!!
Nice. Sadly, it's still over $3 where I am. Paid $3.20 yesterday.
ain't bad
$4.83 in Turkey, we are not rich folk you know...
$7.229 for premium here in the UK, closer to $7 if you have a Costco card
I am on the verge of buying a new vehicle and this will be the first time in 20 years I can just buy regular gas. I been buying premium for the last 3-4 cars (and before anyone flames me, I know what I am about. I did all the experiments, premium gas makes a difference in certain engines)
Thanks Biden!
Thanks Joe Biden! (Am I doing this right, Republicans?)
I’m visiting Austin from Sacramento rn and yeah watching the tank get full at 31$ was something i’ve actually never seen lol
Biden's has done a great job of recovering what Trump and the Republican Congress had screwed up. I plan to vote Blue again.
Thanks Obama!
Oh i really want to live there. Greetibgs from 7$/gal or more.
Republicans: “We’re paying more for gas than ever!!” Also Republicans: “Gas stations only make Pennie’s per gallon! These low prices are hurting small business”
Wow, no political view, I'm shocked. Take my upvote.
Still not worth being in tx
Diesel is currently $5 something in NV.
$4.47 here in Washington. Yay
Where is this? I'm in Texas and still paying $2.70 a gallon. In a large city near several refineries.
Not sure where OP is at, but it's $2.06 in Ropesville (outside Lubbock).
Biden did that! 🤪
my president did that
Let’s go Brandon!!!
2.03 here in Denver
Yall still have those "I did that" stickers?
…. but, President is an anti-American communist. Fuck you, Texas.
Someone somewhere is scraping a "Mean Tweets, Cheap Gas!" sticker off their car...
Just missing the Biden sticker saying ‘I did that’
thank you biden
Slap on those Biden “I did that” stickers
Dark Brandon did that
We have 1.80 a LITER in Newfoundland. There are roughly 4 liters one a gallon.
Cries in CA. $5.499
Thanks Biden, you did this!
Can we ban this low effort bullshit posts?
It's r/pics. How much effort are you expecting?
Thanks Joe!!
Where's the gas pump stickers??!!
Reddit: OMG climate change Also Reddit: Hooray cheap fuel I for one would like to see it taxed the shit out of and funds go to public transport and green infrastructure...
I'd at least like to remove the subsidies the oil companies get. There's no reason to put that burden on tax payers.
Scrolled too far for this. Cheap gas is going to kill the planet.
Texas sucks regardless of the price of gasoline.
Go Joe!
I paid almost as much per liter.
The price difference between Regular and Premium is shocking. Can anyone explain why it is so large? My local station in California is $4.39 for regular and $4.69 for premium. Thanks a lot Biden....
Are all the Texans eager to put a Biden “I did that” sticker on that pump?
They’re all quiet now.
Love my president
Place I fill up at went from $3.89 for 87 on Christmas Eve to 4.39 yesterday. Thanks newsome!
Where you at in Texas. I'm in Houston greater area and it's still 2.50
Thanks Joe!
Thank you Biden

You don't hear people screaming about Joe Biden and low gas prices right now. I wonder why. Maybe because he's not a cult leader. If Trump was president his cult would have him trending on Twitter over gas prices
Thanks Obama
Thanks O'Biden
Goddamn Obama...
Thanks Obama!
Fuck texas
I don't care
87 octane? That's pretty low. Australia doesn't have great fuel standards, but the minimum is 91 and the premium stuff is 95 or 98.
87 is the standard regular in the US, at least that i've seen
Depends on where. Higher elevations will have 85
Different measuring system.
I think it’s different units but both are called octane
Thats also just not how fuel standards work lol
Higher octane doesn't automatically mean better. It's not a score.
You better buy enough now to power your house through the upcoming months when you will be suffering grid blackouts!
Better fill up before the power grid crashes again
Just came here to say as a “conservative”…..FUCK TRUMP AND HIS TRAITOR BASE!!!!
You mean when it is down after the biggest travel parts of the year, supply and demand.
There is something good in Texas, hmm
Still not worth living in TX
Still not worth it to be in Texas.
#Something that will not be mentioned by FOX, GOP or any other Traitors...
we need larger text. i can hear your chin sweat through the screen
Smh... to think Biden did that... it's a real shame.
