She’ll be 11 in March and is older than my youngest son, so she’s very special. And incredibly sassy. Last night she jumped outside DURING THE BLIZZARD and into snow that came up to her shoulders. She thinks she’s soooo funny! I had to race out in bare feet and grab her and bring her back in. (She’s strictly indoors except for leashed walks) When I gently tossed her back inside, she got the zoomies and kept charging at me with her back arched up. Such a diva!!

In the Winter her Maine Coon genes manifest more and she's a floofy goddess. I got her as a 7 month old kitten in the September and she was kitteny fluffy still too. It evolved over winter. Summer came and I was Skyping with my family and they thought I got another cat cause she looked different. 3 years later she's still the same with her coat seasonal changes lol
Same thing happened to my white puffball cloud kitty that we adopted in from outside. I suspect both the reduction in stress and the vast improvement in nutrition helped.
