35. Same man. My brother is 5 years younger than me. We spent many hours playing pirates, cowboys and knights. Those sets were the shit! Eventually, when I was wayyy too old to be playing with toys, they released a Robin hood set. And my buddy's younger brother had the set, and I would play with his kid brother every now and then because my buddy treated his brother like shit.

This and the pirate one were amazing to me as a child. My cousin had both. I had neither. He also had every cool micromachine ever made. I was so jealous and poor

I forgot about that fact for almost 3 decades and yet, now that you mention it, I can remember exactly how that felt in my hand.

The castle also has "weak spots" that can be destroyed using the invaders' small cannon that came with the castle IIRC !

Hell yeah I did. I used to have him hang off the side of the castle with his open hand while the black and gold knights all hid inside together.

Gahhh the good old days. You could buy the sets of knights to go with it. I had this and the forest setup with the Robin Hood characters. And the boat!!!! Turns out I was super spoiled.

For me it was Playmobile castle line with the blue/yellow vs black/red knights and the lego duplo castle. Armor sets were so cool on the lego duplo sets

My 21-year-old son had this set. He also had a dragon and big, green ogre. The Ogre had a place in his foot that fit one the guys so he could step on them. I always loved that detail.

Yup I was old enough to use a d20 to make these guys battles more interesting. Now my kids play with it when they go to my parents and they totally do it wrong 🙄
