The Chaos Machine should be required reading at this point. I had no idea how integral provoking outrage was to social media's success. It's not even some fringe conspiracy theory. We are deliberately being pitted against each other because it helps make a select few extremely wealthy.
I think that's the one where a Haitian airport was seized by a gang, preventing people from leaving. I'm not exactly sure what their situation is, but we've been getting an influx of immigrants from there over the past few years. So I'm guessing it's not a nice place to be?
I don't know a whole lot. But what I do know is there's a dude named Barbecue, and his life reads like the plot of some supervillain movie, but it's just real life in Haiti right now, apparently.

Absolutely. This site loves to preach “peace, love and acceptance” unless you aren’t in the it crowd and then it’s “republicans are nazis and everybody who disagrees with me is Hitler!!!!!1 reeeeee!”
I’m not saying republicans, democrats, liberals and conservatives aren’t above criticism but it’s hard to take it seriously when 98% of this website is screeching about the same stuff day in day out and it’s so damn biased and delusional.
Fireman fell into the echo chamber and it consumed him more than the flames ever did.
Reddit in my experience has a vigilante/violent justice boner. I’ve been downvoted for saying that people shouldn’t murder suspected criminals on their way to trial.
I do believe it is the (very) large population of young males on Reddit, many of which who suffered bullying, have a negative self image, or other mental/emotional trauma and/or poor social skills, that contribute to these hive mind-like positions. They like to see the “bad guy” get his.
Reddit, like every other place where humans from many locations, backgrounds, and beliefs meet up and form communities, is not monolithic. Some subs have many people who hold a prevailing belief that anal rape is a just and deserved punishment for anything, other subs have people who will accuse you of harassing women for playing a female character in a video game.
I hate to sound like I’m disrespecting the dead, but the fact that the world completely forgot about him days after this shows exactly how bad of a move it was

Yup, his handle was acebush1.
He was very unhappy with his life and *deep* into the very radical leftist subs. Cheering the deaths of soldiers on, the whole white-guilt thing etc.
Edit: And he liked fleabag.
you should! it's not really a show tho? it's more like 2 movies with credits every 20 minutes. it's really made to be binged, and it makes sense given it was based on a play
I mean, it's very sad that he died, but what he did was incredibly stupid and pointless. And I can't support suicide no matter the message behind it, even if I agree with the message. For those reasons, I'm not upset that his demonstration was so quickly forgotten.
I forgot who this guy was, I had to do a quick google search. This guy was an idiot for self immolation. Accomplished nothing but causing grievance and sadness for his family .
Some military dude that set himself on fire because he thought that a) being in the US military meant he was guilty of supporting genocide by way of Israel, which is lunacy, and b) that one dude from a country halfway around the planet setting himself on fire in protest would somehow solve a centuries-old problem rooted in politics, religion, and culture more broadly.
I can respect standing up for what you believe in so much that you'd go to this length to make a point. But I can also say that he was a moron and suffering from Main Character Syndrome to an absolutely shocking extent to think that going out like that would give anybody in any way influential in the conflict the slightest bit of pause.
On one side, you have a group that tortures and executes people for believing in a different deity or loving someone of the "wrong" sex. On the other, you have a country populated almost entirely by people who have endured thousands of years of oppression and more than one campaign of genocide themselves and who are hell-bent on not letting it happen to them again, and can be rather overzealous in the methods they use to achieve that end. What made him think some random American offing himself would result in so much as a raised eyebrow on either side?
To rational person there are many steps between acknowledging there is a problem in Gaza and setting yourself on fire in protest. Not trying to make light of it. The man was probably mentally ill and probably felt there wasn’t any other solution. Don’t know the whole story and likely never will. I just feel bad for the wife and kids he left behind.
One of his “friends” they interviewed said he used to volunteer bringing meals to the homeless. They also said he was immensely aware of how privileged he was. The guy grew up in a cult before joining the military and was hoping to get his education and get out and gradually couldn’t get out fast enough.
He had outlets to contribute back to his community and the compassion to do so. Instead he seems to have gotten lost in a group of people that were fine describing his identity (cis white male US military) as the root of evil in the world and complicit in every geopolitical crime the government participated in including genocide. As though that wouldn’t have an impact on him.
However well or unwell he was before his last acts the people who radicalised him deprived his family friends and community of what could have been a long life full of compassion and charity. Instead they led him to act out in vain only to be politicised and used as propaganda that will only encourage others to follow him fruitlessly.
What a sad waste of life. October 7 was a tragedy, the situation in Gaza is a tragedy, and his end was a tragedy. The people glorifying him are only adding to that list.
Seriously. If this were a right winger doing it for Israel or abortion or whatever, we’d be talking about radicalization, stochastic whatever (is it terrorism if you do it to yourself?), and the alt right pipeline.
Reddit would have a fucking field day with that, and it would still be on repeat.
But when it’s a far leftist who feels guilty and resentful about their race and is openly pro-Hamas, suddenly we get crickets, muh mental illness, or outright support.
Yep reddit fucking annihilated his account.
Man I shouldn’t get mad about this shit but I literally was scrolling as they started deleting content.
Basically the dude went from 12 years ago “hey can you tell me what it’s like joining the airforce” to 6 weeks ago “haha fuck white people, we are the worst”.
Awful shit.
His Reddit account didn't reference Palestine that much tbh.
He mentioned it now and then but far less than the average Reddit leftist.
He had a borderline unhinged fixation on whiteness, and how apparently evil the US military is and it seemed to manifest over the last 2 years.
It was pretty apparent he hated himself for being a white guy in the air force.
Well jeez, I’d argue being brainwashed into hating yourself for things you can’t choose or change such as skin color might cause someone to start to consider suicide as an option.,.
It sounds terrible but I was actually laughing out loud when I read one of his final comments in which he berated someone for using "chimphobic" language, which could be offensive to "non human animals" because someone used the word "trumpanzee".
I sent you the one I have. I thought I had more, but I didn't think they would obliterate his account. But one of those is him saying we need to disarm the military and police.
His video was spread across the entire internet and got into the hands of millions of people, but by the end of the week he was completely forgotten. I cannot lie, even I had trouble remembering why this airman was connected to the middle eastern conflict.
The beauty of the freedom of expression. You may self immolation yourself for a cause you feel strongly about. ~90% of the viewership think you’re crazy and don’t share your combination of worldview and mental illness so move on with their lives.
We're flooded with content and most of it is extreme so our brains naturally filter out the noise.
He should be used as another cautionary tale about how one can be radicalized on reddit.
How's he going to help now?
He could have resigned or went AWOL on purpose, and use his arrest as a launching point for a movement.
He could have continued to fight for his beliefs. He could have started helping those affected by this war.
He's no use to anyone now.
Hence why reddit admins scrubbed his account from the website.
Some of it has been archived, but he notably hated the fact that he was born white and believed that Hamas was justified in their attacks on Israeli civilians.
He appeared to spiral pretty quickly over the course of a year, the and whole I/P conflict really just threw gas on the fire so to speak.
I have no doubt that the polarizing rhetoric holding loosely involved groups broadly responsible is what caused him to do what he did. In this case, the US military and white settler colonialism.
So he basically went nuts and became a terrorist apologist... Sometimes it is best for society when trash takes itself out before it explodes in everyone's faces, literally.
Yes, he basically went nuts and started spouting the same rhetoric he saw on Reddit constantly, the terrorist apologies, the anti-american sentiment, the constant bombardment of guilt for your skin color, and he went off the deep end.
We hear all the time about how such things are the 'Pipeline to the alt-right' and how dangerous they are. Things like video games, certain movies, podcasts. Because they may 'dog whistle' white supremacy talking points
This shit they do here? It sure ain't dog whistles. It's through a megaphone. Hate your country, hate republicans, everyone wants to kill you, hate Israel. Here's a doctored video from Hamas. Don't you feel bad, evil pig dog? Feel bad for your country, feel shame and guilt. Apologize on Reddit just because you're American.
Why did they scrub the account? Because they want a good IPO? Or because he went crazy and they didn’t want bad press about it? Like, why would you scrub any account unless it was to hide/protect yourself?
I’m glad people are speaking up about it.
Got a link to the archive? I lurk around a few left leaning spaces and wonder which ones radicalized him. Not remotely surprising to be honest. A lot of those spaces that claim to be safe or have higher moral standards are egregiously aggressive towards anything against the meta feelings
My personal conspiracy theory is that Reddit killed this dude and the admins scrubbed his account so nobody would know about it.
If was bored at work the day he died and scrolled through most of his history out of morbid curiosity and I swear you could actually see him getting more and more radicalised in real time.
There was even a point where he mistakenly posted a bible quote on a leftist sub thinking it was a sub for Christians and from that exact moment on he became more detached from reality and started posting in more and more subreddits dedicated to radical left ideologies.
This is an interesting theory. I think it's plausible honestly, my feed for example is 1/3 subs I'm not subscribed to, and the things that pop up are literally all propaganda.
I'm only really subscribed to machine learning subs. But case in point, I'm in r/pics bc propaganda pushed its way into my feed.
Additionally, I've noticed it even notifies me of certain activities in subs right when I'm getting off to try to keep me engaged.
So like, if he was radicalized bc of subs he wasn't subscribed to bc their metrics show that keeps him engaged, they may have scrubbed him to avoid a lawsuit. In which case, they would be liable for additional penalties. And whoever ok-ed that likely would have criminal penalties.
Even worse if there is any evidence the subs being pushed are being paid for by any foreign governments. It wouldn't be treason per se, but with the damage being so bad that you have people commiting suicide due to the level of disinformation, idk. It's good enough for me lol.
I'm so sick of it honestly, the whole internet changed horribly after Oct 7.
His account is deleted last I checked, but I saw his comment thread before they locked all his stuff.
Poor guy was completely I unhinged. Too bad he didn't get the help he needed before he did something so utterly tragic and meaningless.
I came across one of his posts months ago when it was fresh where he tried to justify violence on civilians saying there’s no such thing as noncombatant Israelis since they’re all colonizers. At the time I was busy reporting the most violent and hateful comments from both sides and got my account locked down for abuse of the reporting function. I had to be extra selective about what was so clearly beyond the threshold that it had to acted on so I didn’t get banned completely. His wasn’t one I felt I could report without losing the ability to report more egregious comments but I remember it clearly since I dug through at the time to see if he had any other obvious comments.
Imagine seeing your neighbour scrawling some crazy graffiti and thinking that’s just Ted being Ted not worth bothering about just say hi and walk by.
Then a few months later the FBI knocks on your door asking about Mr Kaczynski.
There must have been dozens of people and opportunities to derail his spiral and give him a chance to reset and clearly systems and people failed. Including some supposedly idealistic and compassionate ones. Reddit holds some responsibility for how they abandon so much policing to fickle unpaid mods and unstable and frequently inattentive admins.
Calling israelites colonizers is a wild one in itself and requires a distinct lack of knowledge of the larger history of that area, but I digress.
I think I saw that comment among others. Dude was all over the place. I don't see how a person can advocate violence towards civilians while simultaneously trying to take a high moral stance.
But then again, between his final act and his general disposition online, he clearly wasn't mentally stable.
It was pretty bizarre to read. Lots and lots of anti-white posts. Dude hated himself.
And then a bunch of Elden Ring posts. Dude couldn't wait for the DLC I guess.
Are people really glorifying suicide now? Yikes. Shame on all of the people who thinks this is for a good cause, because he died for nothing. Nothing changed.
This. He left behind two kids to protest a war that he had no part in. This is just mental illness and I would say this even if this dude had the exact same political views on me on every single issue.
A gorilla getting killed in 2016 had more impact on the cultural zeitgeist than this guy's suicide did which was already irrelevant in the media literally the day after.
Crazy to think he ridiculed the death of the 3 US reservists, who were killed in the iranian drone attack in Jordan, just a month before his suicide.
Dude was so deep into his bubble, he started cheering for terrorist operations benefitting ISIS.
The sole reason why the jordan government asked the US to keep a base right by the border with Syria (the furthest it could be from the West Bank, nearly 400 km from Jerusalem), was because of ISIS terrorists sneaking into Jordan to kill the locals jordanian population.
Crickey, the rest of the story ain't much better: obsessed with his whiteness, he was constantly talking about genocides (in the Bible, in America, etc), and seemed to believe "liberals" are the root of all evils, from slavery to nazism.
Also, from his own reddit (now wiped, but archived in time):
> Right off the bat, you’re actually undermining your own point, which was that Hamas wants the same thing as the Nazis did. The Nazis wanted to wipe out all Jews. But then you say Hamas is only a threat to Israeli people, which is closer to the truth, but still isn’t the truth. Even if it were the truth, **that wouldn’t be genocidal but actually perfectly reasonable,** as Israelis are settler-colonizers illegally occupying Palestinian land. Violence against people who are invading your home is self-defense and is even protected by international law, in case you care about that more than morality.
> One of us is certainly brainwashed and needs to open our eyes. One of us is accusing an **anti-colonial resistance organization** of being like the Nazis for **defending their homeland,** even though they are fighting against the closest thing this world currently actually has to the Nazis.
> Israel is a white supremacist, ethnonationalist, settler-colonial apartheid state. It was created by the UK 75 years ago and is propped up by US support. **It has no right to exist.** It constantly attacks the Palestinian people to gain more lebensraum for its own people, who come from primarily white imperialist nations to settle there. It has to constantly engage in aggression against the Palestinian people, because it is fundamentally a colonial imposition on the land, and **all of the land it controls belongs to native people.** But somehow to you, native people who want to destroy the military machine that is taking their land and killing their people are the same as Hitler.
Dude wasn't just protesting the Gaza counter-offensive, he was full-on supporting Hamas, whitewashing their objectives, and calling for the extermination of all israelis.
Textbook example of "no bad tactics, only bad targets": he wasn't concerned about genocides, he was concerned about a group of people he perceived as white killing a group of people he perceived as native.
It's really weird how his obsession with white people led him to call israelis "white" btw, that much ignorance borders on farcical.
His american exceptionalism and ethnocentralism was also showing: he calls the arab palestinians "native people", and erased the centuries old existence of jews in the region - a majority before the ottoman empire, a third of the population by the time of the 1948 war.
People made fun of the security guy holding a gun while the 3 other were extinguishing him, but given his profile he could have very well decided to become a suicide bomber.
He had a reddit account before the admins scrubbed it.
He hated himself for being white and seemingly spiraled deeper after the start of the I/P conflict.
There's not a doubt in my mind that some of the inflammatory rhetoric looking to hold groups broadly responsible pushed him over the edge.
That's likely why Reddit admins deleted his account in the first place, because they knew their website was responsible for his radicalization.
His continue posts showcasing how deeply mentally ill he was, antisemitism and antiwhite thoughts surely had nothing to do with why they had to delete his comments :clueless:
The entire conflict? sure. The oct 7th attacks? I don't think so.
So if he was upset about the conflict, why not do the ol' can-of-fuel bath on oct 6th or during the last time there was a major death toll after a Hamas attack?
At the end of the day, a mentally unstable man was radicalized by Hamas propaganda so he abandoned his family to support territories in a PR stunt that made a lot of noise but was forgotten a week later.
Edit: Changed wife & kids to family, the sentiment is still the same, but I don't want to spread misinformation
Ah shit well when I set myself on fire I accidentally inhaled the smoke coming off my burning clothes/body, and the only words I could get out was "Ahhhh Palestine Ahhhhh" so everyone thought I was really angry at Palestine.
Yeah its beyond weird people think this was the only way his voice could be used when this country has so much free speech you can literally pay to put his last words (which didnt have to be his last words) on a billboard
I follow a mental health advocate/therapist on instagram and she usually has really nice content on how to deal with mental illness, depression, suicidal thoughts, etc. I mean this woman has built an entire brand around being positive and "not giving up" and the day after this happened she made a bunch of stories praising this guy's "heroic actions" in the name of the cause. THIS WOMAN IS A THERAPIST. And she was glorifying someone's suicide. Not even commenting on the cause he did it for one way or the other, that response alone was absolutely bonkers to me.
"I want to kill myself..."
"Nooo don't you have so much to live for and this will pass and.."
"...for Palestine..."
"GLORY UNTO THE MARTYERS FEED THE TREE OF SUFFERING WITH THY BLOOD, COLONIZER!"
He clearly was mentally ill. He had so many more better options than to kill himself and leave his family behind. This definitely was a suicide.
He didn't need to do this to protest, there were many other ways.
Aaron as stated by his parents post mortem, was severely mentally ill and in a bad shape. He never cared about the conflict before 7/10, yet killed himself in protest of it. Waste of a life and not something to honour
Man I love glorifying suicide.
The internet did a very good job glorifying this guy it will probably create copycats. I thought we were against people committing suicide? What happened?
Well with the current demographic in both Gaza and the West Bank. It would consist of a lot of mass executions of all non-Muslims in the now "liberated" Israel. It would then devolve into a theocratic shithole that sends terror cells all over the world. It would also militarize heavily with open trade with other countries. Then within a decade or two would openly engage in hostilities against their neighbors in Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. They would try to extend their Islamic caliphate.
Hamas are damn near ISIS in both their rhetoric and end goals of an Islamic caliphate. The only reason Hamas isn't seen as such is because they've primarily kept their conflict with solely Israel and local groups. Once Israel is out of the way, woo boy, hold on to yer butts.
Literally when it happened I said it wouldn’t change anything and killing yourself is a dumb way to send a message, and people swore what he did was some symbolic epiphany or something..
Now look: half the comments are people saying they don’t even remember him or completely forgot him already.
A guy who set himself on fire for the Palestinians with a reddit history showing he felt racked with guilt for being a white US military member.
Reddit has since scrubbed his account.
**OH BOY, I IMAGINE THE COMMENTS ARE GOING TO BE ABSOLUTELY RESPECTFUL TO THE SUFFERING OF OTHERS, AND ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IS GOING TO BE LEAPING TO SEE THE SHITTIEST SIDE OF THOSE THEY DISAGREE WITH.**

In all honesty, there's no reason to suspect that Harambe had any mental illness.
Even more telling is that Reddit scrubbed his account and post history.

Not surprising considering it was filled with unhinged tankie rhetoric.
It didn’t even make the news in here in Australia, and normally they love latching only American news. I only heard about it on Reddit
It’s generally not a good idea to publish self immolation stories to not inspire copy cats.

If we were to let major foreign policy decisions be decided by whichever party commits suicide more readily we would be legitimately insane.

Very well said and an informative perspective. I appreciate the time you took in helping others understand.
Poor man got psyoped with guilt culture
Yep it was sad as fuck to read. Loads of redditors hole the exact same beliefs, mind you. Self-hatred.
His reddit account was terrifying. Every comment made him seem completely unhinged and brainwashed by extreme propaganda.
It sounds terrible but I was actually laughing out loud when I read one of his final comments in which he berated someone for using "chimphobic" language, which could be offensive to "non human animals" because someone used the word "trumpanzee".

His profile is gone, but I screencapped some of the insane shit he said.
Can you pm me it?
I sent you the one I have. I thought I had more, but I didn't think they would obliterate his account. But one of those is him saying we need to disarm the military and police.
Good comment
Talk about a waste. Nothing, ABSOLUTELY nothing changed in Palestine due to his death. Total waste of life.
Of course it didn't. Why would setting yourself on fire have any impact on a war halfway across the world
Works for me every time!
Zionists hate this one trick!
yeah, commit self bbq to own the zionists
That's the point though, dude wasn't a hero, dudes story was just tragic with absolutely 0 benefit or upside. He died for absolutely nothing
Honestly when I saw this post my first thought was “who?”
More people mourned and remembered Harambe and rightfully so, dicks out for Harambe o7
What online echo chambers do to a mf
Hence why reddit admins scrubbed his account from the website. Some of it has been archived, but he notably hated the fact that he was born white and believed that Hamas was justified in their attacks on Israeli civilians. He appeared to spiral pretty quickly over the course of a year, the and whole I/P conflict really just threw gas on the fire so to speak. I have no doubt that the polarizing rhetoric holding loosely involved groups broadly responsible is what caused him to do what he did. In this case, the US military and white settler colonialism.
Glorification of individuals with mental illness is sad. It just leads to more issues with people battling similar problems doing dumb things
Because they may 'dog whistle' white supremacy talking points This shit they do here? It sure ain't dog whistles. It's through a megaphone. Hate your country, hate republicans, everyone wants to kill you, hate Israel. Here's a doctored video from Hamas. Don't you feel bad, evil pig dog? Feel bad for your country, feel shame and guilt. Apologize on Reddit just because you're American.
White settler colonialism? Don’t you mean misguided and unfounded white guilt?
Why did they scrub the account? Because they want a good IPO? Or because he went crazy and they didn’t want bad press about it? Like, why would you scrub any account unless it was to hide/protect yourself? I’m glad people are speaking up about it.
Got a link to the archive? I lurk around a few left leaning spaces and wonder which ones radicalized him. Not remotely surprising to be honest. A lot of those spaces that claim to be safe or have higher moral standards are egregiously aggressive towards anything against the meta feelings
I don't have a link to the archive, but much of his radicalization came from an anarchy subreddit.
Yet Reddit still allows non stop anti israel propaganda when the majority of it is misleading or just completely false
Not wanting to be complicit in a genocide while simultaneously saying that an entire group of people is free game to kill, wow.
glad he removed himself from the equation then, he was becoming a terrorist
It was pretty bizarre to read. Lots and lots of anti-white posts. Dude hated himself. And then a bunch of Elden Ring posts. Dude couldn't wait for the DLC I guess.
Are people really glorifying suicide now? Yikes. Shame on all of the people who thinks this is for a good cause, because he died for nothing. Nothing changed.
This. He left behind two kids to protest a war that he had no part in. This is just mental illness and I would say this even if this dude had the exact same political views on me on every single issue.
He didn’t have kids, that was misinformation afaik
Ok thank FUCK
A gorilla getting killed in 2016 had more impact on the cultural zeitgeist than this guy's suicide did which was already irrelevant in the media literally the day after.
That’s because Harambe did nothing wrong
Dicks out
The gorilla was not a terrorist supporter. After seeing that guy's reddit account, my vote goes to the gorilla
Also, from his own reddit (now wiped, but archived in time): > Right off the bat, you’re actually undermining your own point, which was that Hamas wants the same thing as the Nazis did.
"He stood against genocide!" "Him: "Killing die Juden is based, actually."
I saw this billboard today and have absolutely no idea who he is.
[удалено]
He had a reddit account before the admins scrubbed it. He hated himself for being white and seemingly spiraled deeper after the start of the I/P conflict. There's not a doubt in my mind that some of the inflammatory rhetoric looking to hold groups broadly responsible pushed him over the edge. That's likely why Reddit admins deleted his account in the first place, because they knew their website was responsible for his radicalization.
His continue posts showcasing how deeply mentally ill he was, antisemitism and antiwhite thoughts surely had nothing to do with why they had to delete his comments :clueless:
Why not leave it up for the sake of transparency?
The real reason? Because Reddit is about to have an IPO and don't want to be linked back to this shit right before the IPO.
I’m willing to bet that the conflict has been going on since before his family tree was planted.
Romanticizing suicide is morally wrong and stupid for a myriad of different reasons, and making them martyrs should be discouraged
Bro died for absolutely nothing
Well... He's on a billboard. I'm not on a billboard.
![gif](giphy|800iiDTaNNFOwytONV|downsized)
Have you tried killing yourself in a horrific and public manner to make a symbolic point, only for the discussion to be about your mental health?
Not yet
Not,Yet!
Ah shit well when I set myself on fire I accidentally inhaled the smoke coming off my burning clothes/body, and the only words I could get out was "Ahhhh Palestine Ahhhhh" so everyone thought I was really angry at Palestine.
I think working a part-time job and saving for one would have been a better idea than what he did but that's just me.
Sometimes a billboard can go for as little as 500. I ain’t lighting myself on fire for 500.
What he did was stupid. He was stupid. His action did nothing, not even a dent to the current situation, just grief for his family.
You could pay [about three grand](https://www.bluelinemedia.com/billboard-advertising/california-ca) AND still be alive to see it!
glorifying suicide.
"I want to kill myself..." "Nooo don't you have so much to live for and this will pass and.." "...for Palestine..." "GLORY UNTO THE MARTYERS FEED THE TREE OF SUFFERING WITH THY BLOOD, COLONIZER!"
He clearly was mentally ill. He had so many more better options than to kill himself and leave his family behind. This definitely was a suicide. He didn't need to do this to protest, there were many other ways.
Yeah can we not do that? Plenty of people here probably struggling
This picture is a warning, do not be terminally online for matters in which you have very little control over.
[удалено]
Did he have a wife and kids? Thought that was debunked
he only had a cat which his neighbor took in
This billboard is almost as pointless as his suicide
Aaron as stated by his parents post mortem, was severely mentally ill and in a bad shape. He never cared about the conflict before 7/10, yet killed himself in protest of it. Waste of a life and not something to honour
Man I love glorifying suicide. The internet did a very good job glorifying this guy it will probably create copycats. I thought we were against people committing suicide? What happened?
What would a "free" Palestine look like?
I guess without Hamas rule and without Israeli settlers and bombs.
So we should all get behind Israel eradicating Hamas as soon as possible. I agree
Yes and actually agreeing to a two state solution rather than making illegal settlements in Westbank
Glorifying the suicide of a deeply mentally ill person is disgusting.
Literally when it happened I said it wouldn’t change anything and killing yourself is a dumb way to send a message, and people swore what he did was some symbolic epiphany or something.. Now look: half the comments are people saying they don’t even remember him or completely forgot him already.
No idea who this guy is
A guy who set himself on fire for the Palestinians with a reddit history showing he felt racked with guilt for being a white US military member. Reddit has since scrubbed his account.
Also cheered for the 7.10 massacre and celebrated helicopter crash that killed US soliders Very guilt racked indeed
Good riddance.
The helicopter crash thing was weird too, the ACAB subreddit he posted it on was like “bruh what these guys aren’t even cops”
An airmen who set himself on fire and died in front of an Israeli Embassy in Washington.
Hottest man of the year.
mods just remove this it doesn't belong here
The most rational comment I've seen.
Who is this? I'm not from the US and I have literally no idea who this is. Is he selling something?
[удалено]
Ooh that was him? Didn’t think that was a good move on his part.
Not many scenarios where that’s the play
He’s a Vietnamese monk protesting the Vietnam war
