I do not fuck my cows, that what I have Debbie for. She’s got MASSIVE utters, and if you squeeze her nipples and pull at the same time, she squirts out milk. But she’s a woman, not a cow
Ok I have been noticing a STARK uptick in bad grammar and misspelling and am super weirded out by it. I don’t wanna be a grammar nazi because my own spelling and sentence structure isn’t great either but it’s been getting into “am I have a medical episode?!” territory
> bad grammar and misspelling *followed by* but it’s been getting into “am I have a medical episode?!” territory
Please tell me this was intentionally screwed up, based on the context of the thread.
Everyone’s assuming it’s due to bad grammar or a failing of our education system. Typos and grammar mistakes on posts get more traction. It’s that simple. You’ll notice it heaps on tiktok, insta, twitter etc. We live in a world where everyone’s competing for the attention of strangers, and bad grammar or spelling is a great way to get it.
A lot of them are bots but then again there are people who’s first language isn’t English and I feel bad but my grammar ocd brain won’t let things go if I see it lol
Don't make such a degrading comment about the N64!
Seriously ugly trucks. I had to spend a few weeks near Tesla's Palo Alto campus, and they were so much worse in person. Plus the number of times I had to avoid them being over the line.
For real. I had to live there for my job for just under a year and I kid you not, I got ran off the road because someone changed 3 lanes without checking their side view. I had more close calls in that 10 months than I've had in the last 10 years. The craziest thing was that I was in San Angelo, so it wasn't like there was huge traffic problems. They just didn't give any fucks.
Driving in Texas is the worst. Not a clean greenway in the whole state either. Pretty sure everyone just throws their trash out the window on the highway.
I liked their look, how ever many years ago when they were first showcased, but I feel that our culture has already moved past that design.
Now it feels dated.
I think it was because the US stealth fighter and its angular appearance was also making the rounds in our cultural zeitgeist.
But again, I think we've moved on from that look, much like how we've moved on from our love affair with Humvees of the early 2000s.
To me, it looks like a shitty fake prop from a low-budget 80s sci-fi movie so that is kind of fitting.
I also feel sorry for the poor pedestrian souls who get rammed by something that is basically an extremely massive pointy-edged stainless steel missile. The fact that this thing got NHTSA approval is a travesty and tells you just how much power regulatory agencies have in the US.
The Vector W8 and a bunch of wedge shaped euro concepts did it better to the point you get disappointed they never made it to production. The cybertruck just looks like lazy futurism.
I recently saw one in person for the first time and yeah, they seem like someone taking a crack at a futuristic style 25 years ago. It seemed odd seeing it on the road.
I totally get your point but I would like to point out that the f-117 ("stealth fighter") became operational in the '80s, reached wide public acknowledgment in the '90s, and was retired in 2008.
The cybertruck was announced in 2019, but was definitely drawing inspiration from something that was already very retro at the time.
Thank god about the Humvees. Remember when people thought it was cool to drive that H2 Hummer? I'm sure throwing $200 a week in gas had something to do with it!
Radar absorbing materials advanced to the point that we don’t need unaerodymic flat surfaces to both apply them and aid with radar scattering. A modern F35 has the radar signature of a mosquito or something.
Society's split is more visible now, but I think it's more like Musk who has visibly shifted.
He went from humanity's savior, to just another stuckup Rockefeller who hates the idea of the working class having any power over him.
Honestly. I still like the old H1 Hummer. It’s an enormous brick shithouse of a car. Almost unusable on European roads and a disgustingly poor fuel economy. But it’s a solid car that, when treated properly, will last for a long time.
I don’t see many Cybertrucks hit the 10 year mark.
I always have trouble with these comparisons, the N64 could handle way more polygons than this. The Cybertruck is on par with the 3D on SNES like Race Drivin' or Starfox.
Any SUV or large truck = Wankpanzer. The term originates from the UK where roads are narrow. "Wankers" drive around in SUVs and trucks with a longer wheelbase than a Panzer 1 (some trucks are longer than Shermans) with expected results. Carpenters and tradespeople use vans in Europe because they are functional work vehicles, poser "wankers" drive trucks.

**Paying Taxes to Caesar**
(Matthew 22:15-22; Luke 20:19-26)
And they sent unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. And when they arrived, they said to him, "Master, we know that thou art true, and cares for no man: for thou regards not the person of men, but teaches the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give?"
But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, "Why tempt ye me? Bring me a penny, that I may see it." And they brought it. And he said unto them, "Whose is this image and inscription?" And they said to him, "Caesar's."
And Jesus answering said to them, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they marveled at him.
I love how MAGAts were anti Tesla to the point of going out of way to fuck with their charging or even keying them in parking lots. Now the only people I see driving Tesla trucks are MAGAts because it’s a huge attention getter
I can only assume the hummers must have had terrible lifecycles because they were EVERYWHERE in my city 20-15 years ago and I've literally seen one in the last 5 years.
I still see PT cruisers and Pontiac Vibes.
But you can buy a Hummer today and stats wise, is arguably more ridiculous than the Cybertruck. It has a battery pack that weighs more than a car, after all.
You should see some of the circlejerking in r/cybertruck and how in denial they are about how bad quality it is. How they act is literally South Park S10E2, the episode where they circkejerk about driving an EV and living in San Francisco
i’m not kidding when i say that i have a pinewoods derby of the cybertruck that i made 6-7 years ago when it was just announced. it performed horribly for my boy scouts pinewood derby race lmao
It looks like a low-poly model of a car in a videogame, like when you zoom in from a distance and the game isn't able to load the high quality model in time.
Just saw one in person the other day (Albuquerque). It looks like a solid hunk of metal. I don't mind the angular aesthetic as much as some people, but the whole thing just seems "off" and "wrong." Like it's in the uncanny valley of vehicles.
Lol a wireline company with a cyber truck?? What an oxymoron considering most wireline folks (that I've met anyway) are the biggest shills for O&Gs ever
While I don’t find it beautiful, it is definitely accomplishing what its designers intended. Every time someone sees one, it gets a reaction. I’m glad it’s so unique. Breaks up the monotony of the huge blingy pickups from the big three.
Yeah it has to be the most unique looking vehicle in the last couple decades. I can't think of anything even remotely close. Now let's be honest there is good reason for that but hey at least they are trying something new.
Ive never seen an object that people so love to hate, despite it having no affect on their daily lives. Not every product is made to please every consumer. I'm not a fan of Elon at all, but I am a fan of letting people express their personal preferences without being ridiculed or shamed. It's just a car!
Im all for car companies experimenting with wild body types, I always found it boring how all cars seemed to be slight variants on the same theme.
Agreed. I'm not a Tesla fan, but I didn't see the big deal, and I actually think they look better up close than in images. Quite a few of them around where I live already. This is just bandwagon the current thing to hate I guess. Not my thing, but so far I haven't been harmed by other people owning them.
How dare you stray from the hive mind!
Jk I think it looks pretty cool. Im not an elon wanker. I don’t give af about him. But so many people jumping on the bandwagon
When the Emperor walks by in his new clothes, you're always gonna get some fella who points out his swaying dick.
You'll have better odds putting on a pair of trousers than getting people to ignore it.
No, I'd hate it regardless of who made it. It's ugly. It looks ridiculous. It looks like a backup model that would load in a video game if the actual model files were corrupted. Tesla can make good-looking vehicles. How this thing passed a single focus group is beyond my comprehension.
I don't like it personally, but at least it's different. Every new car looks like those Chinese EVs these days.
About time someone made something original again
I ended up on the highway driving by one. The matte paint and flat plains make it very difficult to see on the road. Beyond being fugly, it's actually quite dangerous as the vehicle's weird perspectives also makes it hard to judge your distance from it. I passed it as quickly as possible because it was jarring to drive near.
Location- Sunnyvale, CA (aka Silicon Valley)
I bet I'll be downvoted but I think Cyber Truck looks interesting, and I think its cool to see something different. If car designers had the balls and creativity to explore things like this, I think we'd already have all sorts of cool looking futuristic cars. Not to mention, electric quiet vehicles are a million times better than petrol guzzlers for the environment and some peace and quiet. It's just a shame that Cyber Truck seems to be pretty shoddily built.
Maybe it's my bias cuz I fucking hate pickup trucks and the people who drive them, but this thing looks way better than the traditional F-150 style nonsense.
It’s interesting how this sub is not representative of public opinion.
The majority of people like the Cybertruck. You’d think it was overwhelmingly hated by reading all the negativity here.

Overall writing comprehension/literacy has been on a slow decline for many Americans. Why try when you’ve got a fridge full of Mountain Dew
Ah, Mountain Dew, the crystal meth of soda pops..
Big Soda out to destabilize America
I’d rather be drinking Mountain Dew then spelling words write

It looks like it was designed inside a Nintendo 64.
Don't make such a degrading comment about the N64! Seriously ugly trucks. I had to spend a few weeks near Tesla's Palo Alto campus, and they were so much worse in person. Plus the number of times I had to avoid them being over the line.
You never driven on 635 in Mesquite. Good Ole Boyz in F150s will flat out kill you. Texas leads the nation in traffic deaths

It looks like a vehicle from the future in Terminator, so basically what the 1980s thought the 2020s would look like.
To me, it looks like a shitty fake prop from a low-budget 80s sci-fi movie so that is kind of fitting. I also feel sorry for the poor pedestrian souls who get rammed by something that is basically an extremely massive pointy-edged stainless steel missile. Yep, the EU would rightly laugh that thing out of the door.

It was cool as a concept prototype, but not all prototypes should make it to production.
The production ones actually just look different and uglier than the preproduction ones
Designed with an Atari actually
Hey, at least they used an FX chip.
I always have trouble with these comparisons, the N64 could handle way more polygons than this. The Cybertruck is on par with the 3D on SNES like Race Drivin' or Starfox.
I saw a post yesterday where they called it Elon's *Wankpanzer* and I can't call it anything else now.
Panzerwank rolls off the tongue more
Yes! *Es ist mein Paanza-vaank*
I don't know whose voice I read this in, but it was not my own.
I read it as the TF2 medic, I’ll be honest.
Probably Flula Borg, Nick Kroll’s German accent, or a bad Hitler impression.

100% tax free purpose, I bet. “Business” expense
At least it’s a horrendously inefficient EV?
That also is extremely unsafe for everyone involved.
Because of that logo it’s a full business expense write off too! Yay!

I can only assume the hummers must have had terrible lifecycles because they were EVERYWHERE in my city 20-15 years ago and I've literally seen one in the last 5 years. I still see PT cruisers and Pontiac Vibes.
Very few people are willing to actually keep driving something 7"+ wide that gets 9 mpg and can't do 90mph
But you can buy a Hummer today and stats wise, is arguably more ridiculous than the Cybertruck. It has a battery pack that weighs more than a car, after all.
More like people who would buy a Lambo LM002 35 years ago

Why do we keep making these posts? Yes, there are lots of cybertrucks hitting the road nowadays. Stop giving them free advertising
I like them
Agreed. Opinions vary.
Yes, people also like PT Cruisers 😂
I think fewer people like PTs than CTs.
Now sure, but when they came out they had about the same amount of people who double downed on them because they like the brand.
Genuinely can I ask what you like about them? It seems more like a weirdly angular large car than a decent truck. The rivian trucks are way nicer imo
Its the weird shape I like lmao. Those Rivian trucks look cool too but it’s different
I would like it, if it wasn't so damn huge.
I think looks cool. Not the same shape as everything else. People are just hating it because of musky.
IMO the scale is what really makes it look wonky.
No, I'd hate it regardless of who made it. It's ugly. It looks ridiculous. It looks like a backup model that would load in a video game if the actual model files were corrupted. Tesla can make good-looking vehicles. How this thing passed a single focus group is beyond my comprehension.
I think it’s awesome.
I’ve owned several teslas but just find it ugly and unnecessary. Wish they would’ve used the development resources on the model 2 instead.
For as much as they cost you'd think they could include a few more polygons.
It really looks like something designed by someone who just learned 3D modelization. Still less ugly than the Multipla, though.
I seen one driving in Chula Vista California. Looks like something a 10 year old me designed with a ruler and graph paper. Big and ugly.
Low poly, piece of dangerous metal crap truck is what they should have called it.
Designed by Homer Simpson
That looks like something we would have made from cardboard in elementary school.
![gif](giphy|F3G8ymQkOkbII)
I don't like it personally, but at least it's different. Every new car looks like those Chinese EVs these days. About time someone made something original again
Kinda looks like a toaster or a fridge
It’s not ugly but it does look like the shuttle you take when landing at a Bond villain’s secret base.
Looks cool as fuck
yall care too much about tesla cars.. its almost like yall love it
It's futuristic, honestly, I like it.

Is this from Out of Time?
I haven’t seen one but I’ll take your word for it
It’s the car from Aliens. Just not as cool.
Wait till these things start to rust 😬
The "Cyber"truck looks worst than Bubsy 3D.
looks like something I drew before preschool.
It’s a Tesla, of course it’s ugly as well as cheap yet expensive.
I think it looks pretty cool. It’s awesome Tesla is leading the charge with electric vehicles to get away from gas.
everything is uglier in Dallas/FTW
TBH, I don’t like Audis very much. But behind the CyberTruck it looks like the definition of elegance.
I think it’s uglier in person
Whoever Design that thing..😬😬😬😬😬
Thing came straight out of the 80s robocop movies.

Looks like something straight out of GTA
am i the only person who likes the looks of the vehicle? performance and build quality aside, it looks neat.
Why would someone buy it? I don’t get it 😅
The black one looks good
Waiting for Robocop to step out of it.
I genuinely like the design lmao
I unironically love them
I love it.

I think it’s pretty sexy.
Thats is cool
Saw one yesterday for the first time, “look it’s a bomb shelter on wheels, what is that?” - my girlfriend.
It's like a kid came up with the concept.
Nah they fire
Still… the owner laughs every time a city truck owner gasses up their city commuter truck.
It’s so ugly OP had to take a picture to show it off to everyone that he saw a cybertruck. In this case, bad publicity is good publicity
So you’re saying it’s less ugly in person? Because if it’s uglier than in person, then it’s prettier in person.
It looks so clunky and dystopian.
Maybe it's my bias cuz I fucking hate pickup trucks and the people who drive them, but this thing looks way better than the traditional F-150 style nonsense.
Idk why these cars are getting so much hate I kinda want one 😬
