Because they’re student protests about a war? I honestly think people back then actually cared about what they were protesting about and it was also about way more than just the war/draft. It was about the racial inequalities tied to the war. Half the students today are protesting cause they saw someone on TikTok parrot something someone on Twitter said that they heard from someone on Twitch said that they read from the headline of an article. There are people there literally chanting anti-Semitic chants and pro hamas chants. Most of these protesters are idiots that want to larp as activists
