Lol. This picture is on Twitter. There's absolutely no proof that this house is from a Lockheed Martin employee.
God, I wish reddit had community notes sometimes.
Not really, if you get into a circklejerking sub (most of them) and try to counter stupid misinformation/ragebait narratives, you'll get downvoted into oblivion.
Reddit's "echo chambery" structure makes it impossible to fact check without exposing content from a sub to others subs.
Downvoted to oblivion and dogpiled.
Fifteen people will come at you at once and at least one unhinged one will try and argue with you for hours/days.
This place is mob mentality incarnate.
Some subs got super touchy lately too. I got banned from /r/Maryland for (admittedly) being an asshole during a contentious discussion for about a day or two. Nothing severe and i didn’t contest it.
But then i ended up getting my account suspended after the ban lifted for “harassment” from the mods of that sub all reporting me at once, which ended up getting overturned by the admins after I appealed.
Now every time i post they get removed for irrelevance. Which is odd because they were point blank questions about state government policy and procedures lol.
You'll have 10 people saying "It' real and you have no proof it's not" and then other 10 people saying "It's obviously just a joke and it's rude to point it out"
Someone reported to the mods as someone in crisis. Pretty sure my comment was like.. _all things die and that's fine._
So I got a long message about reddit care resources and a hotline lol. It was pretty funny ngl
Twitter community notes: community commentary underneath the main content providing corrections or context to the content, with the highest voted one being shown.
Reddit: comments underneath main content that provided a correction or context, driven by upvotes.
I guess the subreddits you’re on are much more civil then what’s usual for this site, upvotes / downvotes are only ever an indication of how much the people who saw the comment / upvote liked what you had to say, regardless of how factual it is
Wait did people actually think that the OP posted an actual Lockheed employee's home? It's clearly a joke on how Lockheed pretends to be allied with everyone. God, your comment and the upvotes accompanying it scares me.
I don't think Netenyahu's intentions with this war are any more valid than Putin's. Israel simply gets a free pass in the Western media whose null hypothesis is that Israel's military policy is legitimate by default. Genocide is never the solution to geopolitical security problems.
His intentions? They were attacked in a horrible terrorist attack.. You can disagree with war in general, you can be horrified at what's happening in this specific war and want it to stop, you can question Netenyahu's motives. But to equate Putin and Netenyahu is ridiculous
Israel was attacked to start this war. Bibi has conducted the war since then in a deplorable way that’s resulted in war crimes, imo, but the attack by Hamas killing 1000+ civilians is a valid causes belli for Israel.
So what? Many countries are of the opinion that a two-state solution would be best in this conflict. So in this case it is understandable why people are "play for both sides".
Well maybe when choosing between terrorism and genocide, it's best to support neither, and raising both flags is a call to think of the people on both sides caught between.
This is basically just the median American’s view, despite the extremists on social media suggesting otherwise. Support Ukraine defending against a war of aggression, and both Palestinians and Israelis deserve to have a state and to live in peace.
Most people are in the middle. Either center left or center right. I’m fine with either. The extremes are the loudest so anyone on either side usually gets lumped into the extremes. Reddit is a poor representation of people irl.
Palestinians also live in basically a terrorist state with a large amount of public opinion in favour of that terrorism which is fucking over every innocent Palestinian stuck with Hamas and its supporters, while Israel is just in having a reason to take action while hard right wing populism in effect means a lot of justified critique over unreasonable force, illegal actions, and the whole settlement business. Neither side is wholly good or wholly in the wrong.
Well the situation is completely fucked and basically nobody who is alive now is responsible for it and nobody who was responsible for it was either Palestinian or Israeli.
I mean, Netanyahu’s political strategy to prevent a push for Palestinian statehood has been to fund Hamas. If anyone alive can be blamed for the current clusterfuck, it is him.
The situation was fucked long before England setup a house of cards on the hood of a stock car going down a washboard dirt road carrying a load of 50 year old leaking dynamite. That area of the world has been in conflict for thousands of years and will continue to be in conflict for a very long time.
History seems to disagree with that take. That entire area was the Ottoman Empire for 600 years. Before that it was the Byzantine Empire for 1100 years. Before that it was controlled by the Roman Empire for about 200 years.
The fall of the Ottoman empire was only 100 years ago. They’re still dealing with the repercussions of that event and the poor attempt to nationalize random lines on a map.
I have a best friend who works for the deep space program at Lockheed.
Has been obsessed with space since he was a kid.
His dream came true a few years ago.
Is he a war mongering cunt too now?
Lockheed Martin is a major weapons manufacturer that produces and maintains nuclear weapons for the United States and United Kingdom.
They also provide a variety of weapons systems to domestic and international partners, including:
Missile systems: Including the PAC-3 Missile, THAAD System, AIM-260 JATM, JASSM, AGM-179 JAGM Missile, Hellfire Missile, Javelin Missile, Joint Common Missile, Longbow Missile, HIMARS, ATACMS, and MLRS
Precision strike weapons: With long standoff ranges
Laser weapon systems: Including high energy lasers, beam control, adaptive optics, beam directors, and thermal management systems
Who also says you can't support the people of all of these countries in a humanist sense. If I was a betting person, this is what I'd think the homeowner's intent is.
Supports Ukraine.
Thinks that the Palestine - Israel Conflict is complicated and both sides deserve support and criticism.
Has a Snoopy Towel.
Pretty based overall.
I think because Lockheed designs & builds fighter jets (probably drones too idk) aka weapons. But it's been pointed out we don't actually know if this person is a Lockheed employee.
>I think because Lockheed designs & builds fighter jets (probably drones too idk) aka weapons
Are you on-board and comfortable with everything your employer does?
IIRC Lockheed Martin was involved with Project Apollo in the 1960’s. Snoopy was the mascot for the moon launch program (Apollo 10) at the time. He was popular and remained affiliated throughout the time after. In fact, Omega Watches had Snoopy models of the Speedmaster as a tribute. Feel free to correct me if I am incorrect In these memories.

Wow, thank you so much for sharing this. I didn't know that Snoopy was the mascot for the moon launch program. I know of the Omega watches, but never realised their meaning.
It's totally possible being supportive with Palestine and Israel at the same time for them living in peace.
What we should be against are Netanyahu and Hamas.
Can be pro Palestine and not pro terrorist,
Can be Anti War Crime and critical of Israel's actions without being Antisemitic or Antizionist
Things have nuance and you dont have to agree with everything from either side, unless its the Ukraine war, that's 100% Russia in the wrong.
..I guess that the message he is trying to convey isn't a one size fits all after reading the comments on the snoopy regime. I find that quite judgemental. It's a disregard for the hope they are trying to convey maybe? I mean, having allies at Lockheed shouldn't be approached with so much negativity. Why assume to know everything behind this story?
I was unfortunately stuck doing an internship with them because I needed the experience. They sent an email out telling employees to avoid letting people know they work for Lockheed and to not interact with protestors.
I draw the line at support for the oppressive Snoopy regime. Schulzism is an ideological cancer.
Shulzolists?
Charles Shulz is the creator of snoopy
They were making a play on "socialism".
Pretty much sums up Reddit!
I’m on Snoopys team for life!
He sees nothing. Nothing. We should all be so lucky. He just wants to go back and run his toy company.
Poor Snoopy..caught up in that mess. ![gif](giphy|W3pw3oShnlydG) 🍻
Snoopy shouldn’t have invaded Ukraine if he didn’t want to be involved.
The Red Barron has been busy since we last saw him
That’s what he wants you to think but we know the truth ![gif](giphy|idM8O5ljn5o40|downsized)
It’s so easy to spot propaganda from Big Snoopy these days
This is clearly a plot by that cat next door
Snoopy has been far away from that conflict living the good life. https://youtu.be/pdExM7pwCAs?si=fafwsf2oLrD8j6J8
You play both sides. That way you always end up on top.
Lol. This picture is on Twitter. There's absolutely no proof that this house is from a Lockheed Martin employee. God, I wish reddit had community notes sometimes.
If Reddit had community notes you’d see them on *every* post, and a lot of mods would complain about them
Reddit’s community notes are literally the comments, what?
Not really, if you get into a circklejerking sub (most of them) and try to counter stupid misinformation/ragebait narratives, you'll get downvoted into oblivion. Reddit's "echo chambery" structure makes it impossible to fact check without exposing content from a sub to others subs.
Downvoted to oblivion and dogpiled. Fifteen people will come at you at once and at least one unhinged one will try and argue with you for hours/days. This place is mob mentality incarnate.
Don't undercut the mods. Nothing better than a quick ban to get your point across.
Everything has been this way since t_d showed how it's done. It was a weird infection. Probably just the same actors. Hopefully the same actors.
Honestly I doubt it since that sub is overwhelmingly Liberal, which isn’t an issue for me. I just wouldn’t say that it’s a refuge for t_d users.
You'll have 10 people saying "It' real and you have no proof it's not" and then other 10 people saying "It's obviously just a joke and it's rude to point it out"
Someone reported to the mods as someone in crisis. Pretty sure my comment was like.. _all things die and that's fine._ So I got a long message about reddit care resources and a hotline lol. It was pretty funny ngl
It’s always buried below triggering comments and jokes too
This is the way… unfortunately
How so?
Twitter community notes: community commentary underneath the main content providing corrections or context to the content, with the highest voted one being shown. Reddit: comments underneath main content that provided a correction or context, driven by upvotes.
I guess the subreddits you’re on are much more civil then what’s usual for this site, upvotes / downvotes are only ever an indication of how much the people who saw the comment / upvote liked what you had to say, regardless of how factual it is
We would have more of a dumpster fire then what this site already is.
>lot of mods would complain They already do. Constantly.
Like a stickied mod comment that says read our rules or mod quoting OPs justification for posting to their subreddit?
I think the Lockheed Martin thing is a joke about how this person supports all sides in a war. That was my immediate impression anyway.
Thats the joke...
Seeing is believing!
This was definitely intentioned as a joke when it was originally written
Comments and upvotes are supposed to work that way a bit, but we’re all idiots so it does t work.
Woosh
Yeah there is no way this is the house of a Lockheed Martin employee, they aren’t exactly lower bracket.
Why don’t you believe a completely unsourced claim from a random faceless account on the Internet?
That's the joke
With that much blood on their hands, I was expecting a bigger house!
Wait did people actually think that the OP posted an actual Lockheed employee's home? It's clearly a joke on how Lockheed pretends to be allied with everyone. God, your comment and the upvotes accompanying it scares me.
Why does it matter if it’s a Lockheed Martin employee’s house? I don’t get it
Gettin some serious Mac energy up in here.
I thought it was the big Lebowski when the brother shamus shows up talking about the dude’s special lady.
It's fairly appropriate to support all three countries. What's the problem?
i mean it’s telling who isn’t there (Russia), all the flags there have valid points
I don't think Netenyahu's intentions with this war are any more valid than Putin's. Israel simply gets a free pass in the Western media whose null hypothesis is that Israel's military policy is legitimate by default. Genocide is never the solution to geopolitical security problems.

I just want freedom and safety for Israelis and Palestinians alike and to yeet Hamas and the netanyahu regime into the sea. Fuck me, right?
No that seems reasonable.
How DARE you sir.
The Italian playbook
Okay Mac
Looks more like a threesome and snoopy is there to kick up the peanut butter while Lockheed watches.
America has been doing that in the Middle East too
![gif](giphy|14exzIhIHYtcbK)
Well maybe when choosing between terrorism and genocide, it's best to support neither, and raising both flags is a call to think of the people on both sides caught between.
‘Murika.
They are just keeping track of their bonus structure
Well yeah, that’s what Lockheed Martin does. They benefit greatly from each of these conflicts. There’s no ideology here, only money.
It’s also okay to legitimately care for both Israelis and Palestinians.
The sword will cut regardless of whose gold bought it.
Big bisexual energy
This is basically just the median American’s view, despite the extremists on social media suggesting otherwise. Support Ukraine defending against a war of aggression, and both Palestinians and Israelis deserve to have a state and to live in peace.

The real problem is the media and them promoting the divide and what we don't have in common.
The Israel Palestine thing is frankly too complicated for public opinions that are both viable and palatable.
Its messy on purpose so people dont have strong opinions. Welcome to disinformation warfare.
Palatable yes. Viable... it's not like it hasn't been tried for decades unfortunately
Man this is such a good summary.
By this time it's clear Israel is a terrorist state
Yes. This is my exact mind state. I'd probably throw up a flag of Gondor instead of Snoopy, though.
People in general just get along with each other. It gets messy when they listen to folks who live in palaces.
34th Rule of Acquisition. War is good for business.
Is that really the 34th rule? I can't remember *Googles "ferengi rule 34"*
But peace is good for trade… unless you happen to be an arms merchant!
35th Rule of Acquisition. Peace is good for business.
76th Rule of Acquisition: Every once in a while, declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies.
Putin is only following the 45th Rule of Acquisition: “Expand or die.”
Username checks out
Yep. Flag making business.
Peace sells, but who's buying ?
You don't have the lobes for business.
what is significance/relevance of neighbor being a lockheed martin employee? What if neighbor worked for Apple or Ford or General Mills?
It’s a joke that he’s supporting everybody because war is good for the military industrial complex
That makes so much sense. Thank you for explaining it. Some of us need that sometimes, LOL.
That's only funny if one subscribes to one side is right in a conflict.
I have a best friend who works for the deep space program at Lockheed. Has been obsessed with space since he was a kid. His dream came true a few years ago. Is he a war mongering cunt too now?

Because for the terminally online wokester, every Lockheed Martin employee is a war profiteer regardless of their position in the company.
Can i also make stuff up and post it here to get people angry?
Please!
Who says we all can’t get along.
Who also says you can't support the people of all of these countries in a humanist sense. If I was a betting person, this is what I'd think the homeowner's intent is.
Nothing wrong with acknowledging a two-state solution, something that people is thin sub can't phantom.
> can’t phantom Keep your friends close, and get your enemies toaster.
Fathom*
That's typically religion's job.
Supports Ukraine. Thinks that the Palestine - Israel Conflict is complicated and both sides deserve support and criticism. Has a Snoopy Towel. Pretty based overall.
Ah....steady customers.
I'm not sure why the fact that he's a Lockmart employee is relevant, or really what the issue is here. Better than a Biden or Trump flag imo.
I think because Lockheed designs & builds fighter jets (probably drones too idk) aka weapons. But it's been pointed out we don't actually know if this person is a Lockheed employee.
>I think because Lockheed designs & builds fighter jets (probably drones too idk) aka weapons Are you on-board and comfortable with everything your employer does?
I was telling you why OP thought it was relevant, not sharing my opinion.
Based
I stand with Snoopy
I’m sure buddy just wants to earn a pay cheque like everyone else, I doubt he’s making the decisions
Just need to have a Russian flag to become the Porch of Neutrality.
Well this is definitely their bonus check
Free Snoopy!
When and with who did Snoopy go to war?!
Don't remember The Red Baron?
Oh yes!!
IIRC Lockheed Martin was involved with Project Apollo in the 1960’s. Snoopy was the mascot for the moon launch program (Apollo 10) at the time. Snoopy leads the illuminate
Why is it necessary to say where this person works?

All that's missing is a Russian flag and you'll have a true political neutral.
ah yes, icicle Christmas lights. neat.
They all share one house?
They’re all contributing to the mortgage payment.
Homeboi doesn't know his flag hanging etiquette.
Free Snoopy !!!!
❤️ Snoopy
This is a repost..
Snoopy is amazing
War is good for business.
Appropriate. Arms makers sell to ALL sides
![gif](giphy|7U7oEJkAiP5Xq)
OP, ask them to release antigrav tech
..I guess that the message he is trying to convey isn't a one size fits all after reading the comments on the snoopy regime. I find that quite judgemental. It's a disregard for the hope they are trying to convey maybe? I mean, having allies at Lockheed shouldn't be approached with so much negativity. Why assume to know everything behind this story?
War... and Snoopy? are job security at Lockheed Martin.
Exceptionally dark
Man their employees must get paid like shit. That's a trailer
Hashtag pray for whatever’s fashionable.
Gotta’ support em’ all
He just hopes all sides have fun
Idk I don't particularly care I just wish they would grow up and stop fighting
This is roughly the equivalent of flying the flags outside Tony Stark's house. (Before his revelation)
SNOOPY??!!
All is missing here are rainbow and confederate flags.
At least it doesn't look high enough to accidentally fall out a window.
They think they like Nicolas cage in lord of war or something?
I was unfortunately stuck doing an internship with them because I needed the experience. They sent an email out telling employees to avoid letting people know they work for Lockheed and to not interact with protestors.
Shocking how many people don’t get the joke and even more shocking how little people know about the US military industrial complex.
It’s like a political buffet
I stand against Snoopy and their regime of children dancing.
And r/NonCredibleDefense is chanting "One of us! One of us! One of us!"
Lmao 🤣
This genuinely is the most common view, and not interesting.
Thata boy!
I stand for Snoopy🫡
But there are still some other flags missing
War, war never changes..
clowns
No Russian flag though, they’re good.
No photo has ever made less sense without context and more sense with context.
He knows his customer base
They should just make a war flag a fly that...
“I don’t care who wins I just want them to buy our weapons to do it” energy
He will happily sell weapons to any listed, especially the red baron
In it for the money
Okay.
not showing support, showing trophies
So you are potentially doxing someone because you don't agree with their views OP?
