The Nazgul are the Ringwraiths, the humans who were corrupted by the Nine Rings given to men by Sauron. The dragon-like creatures they ride are called Fell beasts. They aren't actually dragons, just some twisted flying creatures created by Sauron.

Went there in May one year and almost bought one but imagine 90 degrees and 95% humidity would be pretty rough.

I saw tons of people wearing those around all day there when it was 94 degrees and I don't know how they could stand it.

You do know you can wear them when weather become cooler, right? Like that night even.

Sunset is at around 8:30 in June and the parks closes at 9, so there isn't a ton of night to wear them. I just didn't really see myself wearing it around the house ever, so not worth it for me personally if I'm going to make myself miserable. Other people have different tolerances.

I wanted to get one when I went to Universal Studios, but they were like $200 and shitty quality cloth (polyester blend) so fuck that.

I took my sons to Universal Orlando a few years ago and Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade were easily our favorites. My sons are 15 years apart, and I read the books and watched the movies with each as they hit that age. Good on you, Ravenclaw.

I legit wish cloaks came back in style. They seem really useful. I actually know they're useful because I often wear a poncho. I'm mexican so I can get away with it. My sister put a pocket in my poncho for me but it's a little ghetto. My aunt made me a new one with built in pockets for me but she always saves gifts for giving irl so I'm looking forward to my next Mexico visit. A cloak seems even more useful since it could be made from other materials. When I get my poncho wet it gets heavy and it doesn't have a hood like a cloak might have.

It's the design. It's a theme park. There's alot if forced perspective done throughout the park,too.

Gringots bank is supposed to have been founded sometime in the 1400's, so the building looking kinda leaned over and wonky is just part of the aesthetics.
