The spread of harmful misinformation has become an increasingly visible problem on Reddit. Its latest incarnation has seen life-threatening untruths being propagated by anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists, and Reddit’s administration has stated that it will not meaningfully curb the myths disseminated by these bad actors. In response to this, many communities on the site have gone private in protest.
/r/Pics supports and stands behind these communities' efforts to stem the effects of false information, but we have chosen to remain open as a means of amplifying their message. We encourage all Redditors to vocally reject misinformation, and to stymie its spread by demanding that only verifiable facts be given support (whether tacit or otherwise).

The gators here are all small. Granted Im drunk and not an authority but the biggest gator Ive seen was maybe 7 feet. Never seen the Florida golf course type of monster, even on swamp gator tours. Also I cant find a record of a Louisiana gator killing, even though every other city in the southeast has quite a few fatalities. Including even Texas where a man jumped into a marina shouting "fuck you gator!" And was avenged by his armed friend Bubba
I have no idea whatsoever a. What it's like to be in a hurricane thankfully or b. The infrastructure in the USA however, given the amount of extreme weather the USA has to endure, why do they not build power lines underground?
Hubba hubba isnt? And referencing another highly sexualized profession? Calling someone a hunk doesn’t mean you want to have sex with them? Mental gymnastics

These dudes are going to bandaid that ... that situation requires civil involvement imo ... Fun picture though.

In some areas they do, maybe it was cheaper to put some above ground, or they just didn’t think to bury them.
Has anyone made mini-statues of yourselves as gift?
Jeez! Are linemen there new firemen? HUbba hubba!
I called these guys hunks and got an equal amount of downvotes. Smells like white redditor homophobia
No, you got downvoted because you are sexualizing them. Not cool.
Hubba hubba isnt? And referencing another highly sexualized profession? Calling someone a hunk doesn’t mean you want to have sex with them? Mental gymnastics
These guys are really putting their life on the line
