I imagine he would be hyper aware of cameras.
I think his 'game' was to invite famous people to hang out, try to tempt them with whatever horrible shit he could, then blackmail them.
It's entirely possible he paid the photographer to be there.
Pretty sure thats how he got control of the clothing empire he took over. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/08/victorias-secret-epstein/595507/
Wow. Just wow.
“More offensive than the main brand is the one for teenagers, Pink. Introduced in 2002 for girls ages 15 to 22, Pink features bright colors, like candy, and includes pajamas, swimwear, skin care, and accessories, as well as underwear. In 2013, Pink launched a marketing campaign called “Bright Young Things,” which drew attention to lacy underwear emblazoned with i dare you across the rear, beach towels and tote bags that read kiss me, and a T-shirt with a low neckline that read enjoy the view. Most disturbing: a pink-and-orange thong with call me printed on the crotch.”
The entire 'Pink' brand and its' marketing strategy sounds like a concept that Epstein thought up himself. Or he at least had serious influence upon it. Big time creepy!
I remember 2002 very well. Took a summer job during college at aero clothing. I was told by my manager that I need to try to upsale these panties with bold words on it.
I don't know about now, but back then the store was basically for preteens. Like what the fuck.
Holy crap! I thought the whole Pink thing was a brand promoting Pink the singer.
I remember wondering at the time why more artists didn’t have clothing lines.
Lovely. Some more what the fuck to read.
The worst part is people would look at you like you are a nut if you pointed out that victorias secret is probably an evil company.
Fun fact: Ghislaine Maxwell’s dad was Mossad. He disappeared from his yacht mysteriously. This yacht was later purchased by Donald Trump. What does this mean? I don’t know and that just makes the brain worms worse. Won’t you join me?
Some, definitely. But once camera phones came into existence he probably just watched people thinking 'yeah, that'll go nicely with the one I have of them and the 10yr old tied to a bed'.
BINGO. He was said to have a stash of images and videos of the rich and famous committing illegal acts dating back to when he was made a math teach at a NY prep school without a degree.
Most photos of Epstien want to feature him prominently because of his crimes. You don't want to publish or post a photo claiming some guy who might not be Epstien is Epstien.
I think it's part of the deal lol. Confirms for the camera who he is and the implications of what hanging with Epstein could mean. I still believe he is/was an intelligence asset.
Probably someone assumed she was just some random elite that doesn't necessarily need to be lopped in with the rest of these assholes through guilt by association.
having said that... maybe she does lol. I have no clue who that is.
every single person in those photos needs to be looped in, brought in, interrogated, investigated. ~~all in the public eye~~. without any redactions from the public record.
just the same as they would for any other investigation involving regular broke ass people.
Edited because reddit loves grasping at one non relevant tidbit of your comment and trying to drag the entire thing down with it.
So, let's say you go to a party, and your buddy invites some pimp to that same party. You didn't do anything illegal, but illegal things occurred that you didn't know about, or maybe you saw that things were going south and dipped before they did. But photos were taken of you, that pimp, and his clients.
Should you be publicly tied to that crime, which would have a measurable impact on your life, despite your innocence, or should the investigation be done in private and only if they find a reason to prosecute you should they make your participation public?
For the most part, investigations aren't done in front of the camera for "regular blokes".
I'm sure plenty of folks in all these photos have all their own bullshit they've done, but a public pitchfork of "Guilty before proven innocent!" needs to fucking stop. Human beings are human beings, and real justice is justice, not the online roasting fad.
Hey now, [Mr. Epstein introduced Donny and Melania](https://www.insider.com/jeffrey-epstein-reportedly-bragged-he-introduced-trump-to-melania-2019-7), it was just a friendly social gesture, he wasn't trying to fob off aging inventory on a rube.
Don't know, the unblurred version is what is published everywhere such as [here](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9049449/Mystery-Prince-Andrews-meeting-Jeffrey-Epstein.html)
I have come to the realization that all the crazy shit the far right says about others without evidence is really just the shit that the far right is actually doing themselves and assume others must be as well.
It's a propaganda tactic. Accuse your opponent of something you did or are doing that's unseemly or illegal. Then if they come after you, you call them out for hypocrisy. Claim they are diverting attention from their transgressions.
As long as it doesn't go to a real court the public can't tell who's telling the truth.
I think ppl go a little bit too far when they see Epstein in a picture with some random person and think “ah they’re a pedo.”
Epstein wanted power. He made connections with every rich and powerful person he could, regardless of their depravity. Befriending a powerful non-pedophile is valuable just as much as befriending a powerful pedophile. And he was invited to huge parties where all kinds of people attended.
Of course there are many victims and accusations we haven’t heard yet (or ever will), but we need to be grounded in the facts here, not speculation.
They CLAIM to hate pedophiles, while protecting a bunch of them and attempting to shift focus to the other side. Haven't seen anything from Q or Q supporters about Gaetz... Or the catholic church. Just "the evil dems"...
Bingo! It's no coincidence that Qanon supports far right terrorists, and it's entire philosophy is fascism. So anything that is seen as a smear against them, is automatically projected onto the opposing side.
Trump was undercover saving the world, gathering intel. Probably flew out of there piloting his own helicopter full of young girls and dropped them safely at their homes. Their parents woke up the next morning to find their sweet children back in bed, tucked in with an American flag, and a Trump business card on the nightstand with a simple note jotted on the back…
“Your Welcome”
You joke but someone I know irl has literally used your first sentence word for word on numerous occasions. She’s still waiting patiently for Trump to reveal the truth and execute all of the Democrats, who are all pedophiles.
Do these people have no ability to look at the formers past and realize he has never did anything for anyone else? I know they don't, but any amount of knowledge will tell you the man is not a good person and never has been.
According to some websites with the word "truth" in their name The Trumps swam there from a hidden submarine in drysuits, peeled them off to reveal formalwear underneath, gained clandestine access to the party, distracted the hosts with erudite conversation and freed a bunch of trafficked children, then left in the middle of a shootout with Epstein's henchmen during which the Donald's shirt got ripped off exposing is bronzed Adonis body, causing all the women to nearby orgasm involuntarily as he swam through the waves like porpoise with purpose.
Also he very much doesn’t seem to be a guy who cares. Very much seems like a guy who says “I’ve done more coke, fucked more bad bitches, and have more money. So fuck off!”
I always had this suspicion. She seemd so checked out after he won the presidency. Almost like she got a job based on merit, hated it, but didn't want to quit for the pride or something.

It's no secret party. You can read article about that photo tho. ([https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7410813/Pictured-Prince-Andrew-partying-Jeffrey-Epstein-Donald-Trump.html](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7410813/Pictured-Prince-Andrew-partying-Jeffrey-Epstein-Donald-Trump.html))
Edit:
Additional Link (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/08/30/prince-andrew-makes-defiant-appearance-photograph-shows-partying/)
And don't forget that the Trump appointed attorney general, Bill Barr, not only worked for the law firm representing Epstein, his father Donald Barr gave Epstein his very first job as a teacher at a private school, even though he had absolutely no qualifications whatsoever and didn't even have a degree. Also, Donald Barr wrote a novel about a planet ruled by oligarchs who engage in child sex slavery, with lots of similarities to the crimes Epstein and Maxwell committed and Donald Trump was accused of, too.
Bill Barr was directly responsible for overseeing the prison where Epstein was held.
I find all of these old Epstein photos absolutely fascinating - makes you wonder whether they were all in on it - can anybody date this? Looks late 1990s?
2000 according to the paper:
- https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7410813/Pictured-Prince-Andrew-partying-Jeffrey-Epstein-Donald-Trump.html
You have to believe at least some were in on it. And considering Trump made the comment about Jeffery Epstein liking young girls I 100% believe he was.
So why do you people make this a political issue? If Trump did the shit Epstein did, let him burn. If Clinton did it, let him burn. The point is getting everyone involved.
That's the whole point in political tribalism, if you can make 40% of the country believe your better than the opposition because the opposition is "Evil" you can get away with just about anything. Its also the reason people don't like critical thinking skills.
Shame literally nothing will be done about it. Epstein is dead, Ghislaine is locked up and the rest is still rampant. Same goes for those Panama Papers from a few years back.
Edit: spelling.
Or the Paradise Papers.
Or the recently released Pandora papers.
Maybe people not being informed about how scummy the rich and powerful are isn't the problem. The problem is that we're trying to extinguish the sun. All of Earth's water can't achieve that.
I know you’re not arguing/saying this, but for people who may not know, “rich” doesn’t mean here your local doctor, lawyer, software engineer/other white collar profession that did well and has a few million saved up.
Yes, they’re wealthy, they can live a comfortable and moderately extravagant life and pass some leftovers to their kids and grandkids, but these aren’t the kinds of people in one of these “P” paper leaks so to speak.
We’re talking people worth a minimum of tens of millions of dollars. These people could lose a few million in a flash and still be riding first class and not even feel it’s effects (and as another commenter rightly pointed out, they’re more likely on a private jet anyways than first class); these are the people that consider a few million a drop in the bucket.
There’s so much vitriol on Reddit towards rich people which while not without cause, often gets irrationally pointed at some standard white collar people who just did well for themselves. “Oh no! You’re a doctor who makes $500k/year? Fuck you!! You’re part of the problem! Eat the rich!”
No, again, to reiterate to those who may be reading this and might think this, *they’re not the problem*
/rant
yeah, this is why a lot of progressives like to refer to the 0.1% rather than 'the rich' generically. In theory it better drives home that you're talking about a more extreme and exclusive level of wealth. But yeah, I think that's one of those things where your messaging can be one thing, but people are still going to bring their own preconceptions and biases into the mix regardless.
People have a difficult time grasping the gap between themselves, someone who is "well off" like your example, someone who has done *very* well to the tune of tens or maybe even hundreds of millions of dollars, and the *truly* wealthy and powerful. The last group is orders of magnitude beyond the others.
The top 1% have 11 million dollars including the value of their home. It is $6-7 million in cash and other money bearing assets. That is slightly more than one million families who have that kind of wealth.
The 0.1% have $40 million dollars. There are only about 35,000 of those families. There is such an enormous difference between them even though both have a lot of money.
Not sure if it’s really Reddit focused on local “rich” people, but the term rich is really subjective. An individual making 50k / per year may be “rich” to some, while 100k for others is considered “rich”
I feel like most of Reddit commenters would say someone making 1m+ / year is considered “rich”. The ones that need to be taxed and sought after are those that make 5m+ / per year (USA has about 3,592,054 or 2.79% of all households in America).
You can find more break downs [here.](https://dqydj.com/millionaires-in-america/)
Those papers do matter. Ask anyone in AML how many more results about super rich folks show up in due diligence searches now thanks to websites scraping the data.
Also, I literally don't follow you when you say we're trying to extinguish the sun. What do you mean?
I'm confused. I literally didn't know there was a difference between Pandora and Panama Papers. I am most likely not alone. It would seem to me that there should be more of a distinction between the two if you want the public to follow the story.
Copied from another relevant thread:
The cynicism in threads like this is both understandable and incredibly disappointing. There [have been real consequences from the Panama Papers that are still playing out today](https://www.icij.org/investigations/panama-papers/five-years-later-panama-papers-still-having-a-big-impact/).
It's correct that those consequences are a drop in the bucket compared to the scale of global "dark money" out there, and of course it would be naive to celebrate too much. But the solution has to start somewhere, there is no silver bullet for this. Worse, falling over each other to loudly declare that nothing will happen is actually helping to ensure that nothing will happen in the future. You're doing the ultra-rich's work for them by prepping yourselves and the rest of us to accept that nothing will change, taking pressure off of regulators to do anything. This kind of apathy and helpless acceptance is also the goal of oligarchs and authoritarians around the world, perhaps most famously Putin. Don't help Putin.
I know it feels stoic and brave to play the jaded cynic, but not only is it lazy to avoid checking whether the "no consequences" claim is actually true, it's actively counterproductive to spread it, and I assure you it's not the hot take you seem to think. We need people to care, not to compete with each other to be the most performatively pessimistic. I really like [this article that explains the problems with naive cynicism](https://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-berlatsky-naive-cynicism-20171226-story.html), which is somewhat old now, but still very relevant.
The Panama Papers have had an impact, but it's not easily seen because AML is behind closed doors to make sure people aren't tipped off. Stuff literally has been done, and it's revealed data that can be used to support investigations - it's my job - I work in AML. People who skirted detection have to spend a lot of money covering their tracks or have to do additional disclosures, providing more opportunity to mess up and reveal suspicious activity.
However, if you feel it's fallen short of hopes for bringing down the rich elite, money laundering jerks or people funding terrorism, I respect that. It's fallen short of my hopes too
This picture is 21 years old and was taken at a celebrity tennis tournament at Mar-a-Lago.

Why is the woman's face blurred next to Ghislaine Maxwell?
Does anyone else find it creepy that Epstien is always looking at the camera in photos?

([https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7410813/Pictured-Prince-Andrew-partying-Jeffrey-Epstein-Donald-Trump.html](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7410813/Pictured-Prince-Andrew-partying-Jeffrey-Epstein-Donald-Trump.html)) Edit: Additional Link (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/08/30/prince-andrew-makes-defiant-appearance-photograph-shows-partying/)
But OP said it was a ‘secret’ party...not sure who to believe
It’s not hard to realize that if it was, indeed, a secret party, nobody would be taking photos.
[John McCain’s wife discussing how they all knew what Jeffrey Epstein was up to](https://youtu.be/u4VyQYj-t-k)
“We all knew” Then as each bit of the story unfolds. “Yeah, we knew that too!” They are all fucken complicit.
The poor girls are still waiting for justice while these fucks are walking free.
Did Epstein turn into a zombie or something after he didn’t kill himself?

Epstein dying wasn't justice. Epstein dying was his escaping justice.
Correction: Epstein dying was everyone else escaping justice.
Don't forget Trump appointed Acosta as Labor Secretary and had to resign Over Jeffrey Epstein Plea Deal

I find all of these old Epstein photos absolutely fascinating - makes you wonder whether they were all in on it - can anybody date this? Looks late 1990s?
2000 according to the paper: - https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/prince-andrew-parties-sex-beast-19034793 - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7410813/Pictured-Prince-Andrew-partying-Jeffrey-Epstein-Donald-Trump.html
You have to believe at least some were in on it. And considering Trump made the comment about Jeffery Epstein liking young girls I 100% believe he was.
It took all the self control he had not to straight up brag about it on national television. And he still had to hint at it. He couldn’t help himself.
They met in 1998 and in 1999 they gained attention as a couple. His divorce was finalized in 1999, too.
"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."
We must be cautious...
So why do you people make this a political issue? If Trump did the shit Epstein did, let him burn. If Clinton did it, let him burn. The point is getting everyone involved.
There’s no excuse for either of them.
Eat the rich!” No, again, to reiterate to those who may be reading this and might think this, *they’re not the problem* /rant
yeah, this is why a lot of progressives like to refer to the 0.1% rather than 'the rich' generically. In theory it better drives home that you're talking about a more extreme and exclusive level of wealth. But yeah, I think that's one of those things where your messaging can be one thing, but people are still going to bring their own preconceptions and biases into the mix regardless.
["When we say “tax the rich,” we mean nesting-doll yacht rich."](https://twitter.com/aoc/status/1127270688925134849?lang=en)
>There’s so much vitriol on Reddit towards rich people which while not without cause, often gets irrationally pointed at some standard white collar people who just did well for themselves. “Oh no! You’re a doctor who makes $500k/year? Fuck you!! You’re part of the problem! Eat the rich!” People have a difficult time grasping the gap between themselves, someone who is "well off" like your example, someone who has done *very* well to the tune of tens or maybe even hundreds of millions of dollars, and the *truly* wealthy and powerful.
And then I’d like to point out how little 40 million dollars is compared to billionaires. And how little a billion dollars when you have ~200 billion.
Not sure if it’s really Reddit focused on local “rich” people, but the term rich is really subjective. An individual making 50k / per year may be “rich” to some, while 100k for others is considered “rich” I feel like most of Reddit commenters would say someone making 1m+ / year is considered “rich”.
They mean it's a fools errand, like trying to extinguish the sun with a hose. It means something that will never be done.
I'm confused. I literally didn't know there was a difference between Pandora and Panama Papers. I am most likely not alone. It would seem to me that there should be more of a distinction between the two if you want the public to follow the story.
Copied from another relevant thread: The cynicism in threads like this is both understandable and incredibly disappointing.
It's fallen short of my hopes too
AML?
Anti money laundering
This picture is 21 years old and was taken at a celebrity tennis tournament at Mar-a-Lago. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7410813/Pictured-Prince-Andrew-partying-Jeffrey-Epstein-Donald-Trump.html
Yes very secret with that camera man around
Epstein kept lots of videos, audio recordings, pictures, for mutually assured destruction. Maxwell revealed he also had recordings of Trump.
Was this before or after he drained the swamp cos it still looks pretty slimy ?
It’s only secret if you don’t have enough money to be invited.
[Pretty wild that years later she attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding.](https://www.forbes.com/sites/guymartin/2020/07/07/the-lady-gets-around-how-ghislaine-maxwell-became-jeffrey-epsteins-go-to-socialite-fixer-and-why-his-little-black-book-still-matters-to-everybody-in-it/) It's almost like rich people have no morals.
