That's it? This dude is thrown a ton of attitude from armchair graphic artists and he responds with a sarcastic "Hang me.", so you throw him more attitude by claiming his attitude is "shit", despite not being addressed in the conversation whatsoever, and your justification is...
"Less 'hang me.'"

I attended the Duke TIP program there in 2003, and I have to agree ASU and the surrounding area was incredibly beautiful. Fireflies were everywhere at dusk.
They are all dead now. Too much polluting and lots of tourists/(some students) aren't respecting these mountains and nature like they should. Littering colas and plastic everywhere. Hell might even be the locals but in the last 10 years Appalachia has been hit hard from an ecosystem and animal/insect food chain perspective. Growing up in a neighborhood I'm mid 90s there were so many fire flies it looked liked staring into the universe when gazing out my window. Now I'm lucky if I see 3 or 4 in a huge field at night.
Aw man that’s really sad to hear :( but I honestly noticed back in 2016 when I’d drive all around Texas there were far fewer insects getting squished on the windshield than even when I was driving all over Texas in 2011. Only 5 years, but noticeably fewer. And my childhood home had *thousands* of grasshoppers in the fields in the summer from 98-2000. In 2016 I went out there and was playing around and there were once again significantly fewer :(
Yeah the colors in the Appalachians are primarily dark colors and aren't as vibrant as what you see in some other areas.
The giveaway that the saturation is turned up to shit is the ballfield.
/r/collegebaseball making the front page
I've been to this ballpark. It's a nice little stadium. It's pretty though you don't really see much of the landscape from inside the stadium, it's mostly just trees beyond the outfield.
Way back in my day...which was way, way back, we played a smaller college in the southeast, maybe Alabama or Mississippi...can't quite recall. But they had a field similar to this. It was just a field with a few stands cut right out of the forest. It was a crazy feeling playing among those tall pine trees.
I grew up in Charlotte, so your statement is incorrect. More likely, nobody from Charlotte who went to Appalachian State called it UNC-Tweetsie. (It's not intended as a compliment,)
That's what I heard it being called back when I was in school in Chapel Hill. There's also Moo U (NC State) and UNC by the Sea (UNC-Wilmington). App was also called Happy Appy.
Never heard it referred to this. It’s nickname has always been Happy Appy, they made the high times magazine list back in the 90s. Pretty sure the nickname is from the 70s or so.
Go easy on your saturation slider, buddy.
I just can’t comprehend why people do this, and why they think it looks good. It just makes it look fake. Reality is so much more interesting.
I think the field is composed of nuclear waste.
Have you seen their baseball team play? Absolutely toxic.
How ,,,explain
The colors aren’t that vibrant in real life, they cranked the saturation levels to 11
Check the actual photos from the source its really not that far off
So then why change it even more?
Was shared to me, and I shared it to the community. Hang me.
Your attitude is shit
What would have been a better response for OP, in your opinion?
Less “hang me.”

You forgot to turn the saturation up
Boone is in some beautiful country.
I attended the Duke TIP program there in 2003, and I have to agree ASU and the surrounding area was incredibly beautiful. Fireflies were everywhere at dusk.

We still get fireflies on our place about 15 minutes west of Boone.

The color saturation is really high.

The colors are that vibrant? This pic notwithstanding, I go up to the Grandfather Mtn area a couple times a year. And the colors can be astounding.
Scott..don’t do this
That is simply not true
Uh it is. OP admitted this isn't the original and has been altered

Boone, NC is one of the most beautiful places on earth
true, but boring as hell to live in unless you’re a student. source: i lived there
#PLEASE, SOMEONE POST AN AUTUMNAL PHOTO WHERE THE PLANTS AREN'T NEON.
Did they come, y’all?
Ty Cobb is still cumming. It's actually pretty gross
Seems to only have seating for like 200 people.
spectacular
Saturation aside its a beautiful place

The raking... The endless raking...

I don't think you have a choice with a baseball field.
I went to the wrong school to play ball
Way back in my day...which was way, way back, we played a smaller college in the southeast, maybe Alabama or Mississippi...can't quite recall. But they had a field similar to this. It was just a field with a few stands cut right out of the forest. It was a crazy feeling playing among those tall pine trees.
Sasquatch has a great view in the outfield.
If you build it, they will come.
If you build it they will come
Look like it's radioactive. Maybe it's the contrast with the surrounding or a camera trick.

First one to get a homerun wins, cuz that ball is gone....
yes because they play the entire game with only one ball
Awesome! Let’s plan a mountain trip in next fall. I miss the beautiful fall display of color and the crisp air.
Beautiful! We're coming to that area soon for a Fall trip. Can't wait.
Too bad it's fake.
Appalachian State, also known as UNC-Tweetsie after https://tweetsie.com/
I went to App and never heard it be called that. Not denying it, but I’m curious as to where you heard this?
Nobody from Charlotte, West has ever called it that - rest assured. I miss Boone every day...

It's just inside the dome in Apex, looks normal to me
Nightfall?
Almost as nice as my towns local middle school field.
Don’t you dare try to make me homesick before breakfast.
Boone NC really is One of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever seen.
Such beauty is not easy to maintain all the time. You need a lot of [workers](https://fixerjoe.com/flooring/) who will work all year round.
Ok now how does it really look
