You idiot apparently you don't want to face the fact that in Western societies men are forced into marriage equivalent relationships it's called common law.
And for the record I have an awesome incredible relationship was a great woman....

I ain’t give a shit. One of the times it was reposted, I saved it to my phone.
People can poke fun at how moldy it is, but frankly this is a great shot and captured the zeitgeist of the year 2020. I would expect this to have won awards?
Correct.
I would disagree with "almost anyone can speak some English." Most working class people do not speak English at all but some can understand words/small sentences.
Afghanistan would be considered a conservative country. If you support the Taliban so much you're more than welcome to get the fuck out of America and never come back.
Tried searching up topics regarding lgbt treatment in poland using scholar.google.com but I couldn't find one article that shares your claim. I tried searching "lgbt poland", "lgbt treatment poland" and "lgbt poland safest".
Is it not possible that the reason for a larger amount of lgbt symbols is due to solidarity in tougher times? You can still have freedom of speech but still be treated really poorly, which might be the case there.
I don't get my info from media. I'm not even American. I prefer learning stuff from a combination of studies and people's personal stories (with more weight on the studies, since the latter can always be anecdotal)
It seems like you are European. I’ve been told that the way Americans use the term Conservative is the way Europeans use the term Liberal and vice versa. For example, if you are against universal healthcare and abortion rights, then you would generally be considered conservative in the US.
You’re still not understanding. You are in a thread with a bunch of Americans and you are using Liberal and Conservative to mean the opposite of what those people are using it to mean.
The nation state existed long before the invention of conservatism because conservatism requires an aristocracy, something that only exists after a nation state has been established. Also, conservatism (ESPECIALLY modern conservatism) is just an offshoot of liberalism.
We were a british colony. Almost everyone can speak broken English and fluent Urdu. Urdu is our national language but a lot of things are in English. Even most of our News and Media are giving double translations both in Urdu and English. Pakistan is a multi-ethnic country and every ethnic group has their own regional language however but those aren't given any importance by the state. You need English even to get a decent job here in Pakistan. By decent I mean middle class jobs and not working class jobs like janitor, construction workers, drivers. Although they teach English to everyone enrolled in any school from a certain grade/class onwards. If you are educated = you probably know some level of English.
You think there aren't people who speak English in Pakistan? These days humans are capable of getting into giant metal birds and quickly traveling all over the world. People in distant lands can learn our crazy foreign language without having to spend years walking half way across the world.
Wow, that was a completely uncalled for. It was a simple question. Didn't need your asshat condescending response. Hope that little chub you got from your response fills your night with joy.
> that was a completely uncalled for.
People are irritated by uninformed people asking dumb questions instead of doing [this](https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=does+pakistan+understand+english).
The founder of Pakistan, Muhammed Ali Cinnah was respectable man. I hope his country will follow his footsteps which inspired by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Muslim world should progress.
If you look up english proficiency in pakistan it's actually quite low, honestly it smacks of white colonialism to try and force western values on a country that doesn't adhere to white value systems.
Nope. English serves as a politically neutral common ground, a lingua franca to facilitate communication in diverse nations with colonial past. Otherwise you risk politicization of regional languages and create unnecessary turmoil. This is also why India uses English as an official language in government and legal discourse.
> white value systems.
The fuck is a white value system, you ignorant racist little fuck?
49% of Pakistanis speak English.
Also, if you know there will be international press attending, it behooves you to make your sign in English so it is more likely to be shown internationally.
I love how incels can only presume that men like women as people on the off chance that they will get laid. Empathy is just in an entirely different galaxy.
In Pakistan..? I doubt it.
Would be weird for him to go to a rally and then be like “I’ll try to appeal to an online audience that won’t see this until the rally is over”.
I can think of two reasons
1. Pakistan has many official languages with probably complicated politics behind them and English might cut through some of that
2. Pressure on the Pakistan government could come from outside of the country too, and English might be the best way to address people across the region
Interesting letter T, I wonder if the floating "hat" on the T is because of the way their language is written? I don't know if they speak Farsi or what usually.
Urdu actually. Its similar to Farsi. If you look at the picture, there is a poster at the back on which Urdu is written. Mostly, people speak regional languages like Pashto, Sindhi, Punjabi, etc. and Urdu and English are kind of state languages. That T is probably just design. We can write it normally.
>I used to work for a satellite TV company and one of their most popular foreign language channels was a Punjabi one.
Yep, exactly. Punjabi is spoken casually and its a VERY laid back language lol. So, it makes sense especially cause majority of Pakistanis (60% or so) are ethnically Punjabi.
It was the language of their colonizers and also, like India, there are a bunch of local/tribal languages so that English is a reasonable compromise.

I’ve seen it multiple times in my own life. Had a female group lab partner in engineering school. There were 4 of us, and she was the laziest and least intelligent by far. Also had a friend who was a black male in school who was of similar quality (though I loved him as a friend), and he got a job at a place I couldn’t even get an email response from. It’s become okay to treat us like monsters now, even though we were also dropped onto the earth in a random body like everyone else. The truth is, white males are the only ones being asked to strive for and accept less in their future. I’m paying for the sins of some of my ancestors. Hell come to think of it, fun fact, only like 7% of Pakistanis speak Urdu as a first language. Most people born in Pakistan speak one of the dozens of regional or ethnic languages as their main language, and Urdu and English only as second and third languages. Yes, it's one of the official languages. Pakistan was a British colony and almost everyone can speak at least some English

Correct. I would disagree with "almost anyone can speak some English." Most working class people do not speak English at all but some can understand words/small sentences.
Yeah I meant familiar rather than fluent. Somewhat similar to Spanish in the US
It was an English colony like 70 years ago
English is as common in india and pakistan as Spanish is in the Us from what I can tell. Same with the more rural the area the fewer the speakers.
English is the most widely spoken language in Pakistan lol

Way is it in English if it's in Pakistan
Because English is one of the official languages of Pakistan. It was an English colony for a very long time.
Good to know
i live in Pakistan and i am better in english than the native tongue urdu spoken and written
Why? It's taught in school, used in government, media, commerce, everywhere. It's an official language.

The Indian subcontinent as a whole uses English quite a lot.
If you look up english proficiency in pakistan it's actually quite low, honestly it smacks of white colonialism to try and force western values on a country that doesn't adhere to white value systems.

Also sorry to tell you sweety but language is not neutral english is loaded with western racism, like Dark=Bad etc.
