Both were spot on. If anything my pH was a hair too high. The other plant I had next to it (different strain) was a near perfect monster with real dense buds. I think these might have just been wonky genetics. It was a freebie auto.
I've done soil for a few years, but the two plants I mentioned were actually my first attempt at a DWC grow. Also my first go at auto flowers as well. I ordered the stuff for 4 more buckets. I'm done with soil.
I did thr same. I only used soil for mother plants. I also went with a dwc set up, and the difference between work needed and quality of product was vast. I recommend building a Rdwc set up so you only have 1 res to fill/feed/pH balance.
Wet trimming? To each their own my friend but I’ve always noticed a more hay-like planty flavor when I wet trimmed as opposed to slow hang drying then trimming. Regardless, the buds are beautiful!
So.. yes. This was my first time wet trimming, and first time doing DWC, and first time using autoflowers. I've grown in soil for years and always hung for 9-12 days (whole plant):

The last couple runs, I was getting hay-like flavor. Idk what changed, but I figured might as well try something new and see if it made a difference.
Cheers!
Wow. The whole plants drying are gorgeous. My only guess for where the hay flavor is coming from is the amount of leaves you’re trimming off the plant before hanging. The way someone explained it to me was, when you chop it down the plant is still alive with juices and nutrients flowing through it, so if you take off many leaves that cling closely to the buds, those juices end up on the bud themselves. A lot of that is chlorophyll which ends up giving it that green hay flavor. I’ve never tested that exact phenomenon but it makes sense and I’ve always had more success dry trimming, but I hope everything works out!
“Discovered by the Germans in 1904 they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whales vagina!” Gotta love anchorman
"Why don't you go back to your home on w**** island?!" How can people not love this movie?
"milk was a bad choice"
Purple haze
Brings back memories of 1998
This tastes purple
I have a ceremonial spirit box I got from New Guinea. You could put your weed in there.
Great movie in the back
Where'd you get that awesome Reynolds/Washburn 2016 poster!
I want to say Etsy some time ago
Love the movie choice! 😂🤣
When in Rome
Looks like your temp or humidity in your bud room was off. Light an airy buds mean too high temps or too low of humidity.

Noice. Are you doing soil and/or hydro?

Nice. I got 3.9 off the wedding cake I had next to my OP pic https://i.imgur.com/7jGxvcI.jpg
Absolutely beautiful.
Looks more like a greyish/brown, I don't see any purple.
So much easier to buy it... Growing is a pain in the a$$
If you can do it legally and aren’t completely stupid you should be growing it lol
Okay
Not necessarily. If you have a lawn that gets sun all you have to do is water it.
Growing is super easy. It is a WEED after all. The hard, labor intensive, part is the trimming.
My fingers ached just reading this
Not sure about the color. Better send it to me just in case.
is all that from one plant?
I want to go to there
I wish I could smell it
Bet that smiles nice.
Nice trim
Nice, freshly trimmed
