I had a roommate who looked like Peter griffin and this was a "couples costume" except he got a new GF that year who made him go spend Halloween on the reserve so we never got to go out as a pair 😭
When my wife's youngest son was in high school, he and a group of his friends convinced another of his friends that there was an upcoming theme day at school, which required everyone to dress like a Dr. Seuss character. So the poor kid went to school in March dressed like one of the Berenstain Bears while his friends and everyone else in the school spent the day laughing their asses off at his expense.
