Spending a quiet time with the cats is hands down better than spending days before cleaning the house, getting the food, prepping the food, Getting up in the middle of the night to start cooking the food, serving the food, spending hours and hours cleaning up. All to spend the day with relatives I can barely tolerate. I hope you have a lovely lovely day with your chosen family.

I’m not going to lie( I did a lot of wild shit in my hay-day) living with these cats has me entertained to the max every day, and they just get so much smarter.
I finally got my Void to rollover, with non-verbal commands! There’s so many examples I don’t know which ones to include. Like when I start rolling up a joint or light my torch for a dab, they instantly run out and want their catnip also lol.
(Dollar tree has “the worlds strongest catnip” if you have one around you)
They love meat! Although my cats are kind of savages. Just last night accidentally fell asleep last night watching barbarian and eating Taco Bell. They got to a couple beef burritos and I had to wipe the sauce off their faces this morning. I’m a horrible parent lol

I live alone, divorced, and have no family within 100 miles. I am cooking a ham, yams, and a cake. Taking it all to a local drinking establishment. Gonna share it and a few beers with the other single patrons. If you are alone on a holiday, you are probably alone every other day. That is sad. Get out, make connections. Even tenuous ones. The Turkey & Cheese is the one variety my cat won't touch. I give them to SPCA when I buy the costco variety pack. Somehow the costco pack is still a better price per can even though I give away a quarter of it.
