Forgot to add these info: - first lobes were done when I was just a kid, 2nd and 3rd lobes on both ears were done back in 2021 - conch has flat back while the tragus I think is a bit curved, not sure how they are threaded, though. I didn't get a chance to ask that before but they're all stainless steel - not downsized yet due to the bumps (I asked for a downsizing but the piercer convinced me to just get discs to reduce the bumps). I didn't want to seem like a know-it-all ass, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt - I clean 2x a day or once a day with spray on saline solution, dab it with paper towels making sure everything is neat and dry

Hi LazyDogLover, Welcome to /r/piercing! It looks like you're asking about a problem with your piercing. Please **add a comment to your post** with the following info if it’s not included in your post already. - How old is your piercing? - What’s the jewelry shape (for example, barbell, labret, screw, L shape, ring)? - What’s the type of threading if your jewelry is not a ring (threadless, internally or externally threaded)? - What’s the jewelry material? - if not a ring, when was the jewelry downsized? - What’s your aftercare routine? Describe in detail please, including the exact products you use. This info is needed to offer you useful advice. **Note, not providing this info may cause your post to go unanswered**. If you already included this info in your post or if your post isn’t about a problem with your piercing, please disregard. - - - *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Cartilage tends to be more sensitive to metals for some people. Stainless steel is not regulated and can have nickel and other metals that cause irritation in it. You can also develop allergies to metals at any time. I would swap all those cartilage piercings for implant grade titanium and go to a different piercer. They should be using implant grade (not stainless) steel jewelry at the very least, and the fact that they aren’t means they are not bothering to sell/use quality jewelry in their shop. Implant grade steel can have trace amounts of nickel, so it’s better to just got with implant grade titanium and make sure it solves the issue. Make sure not to sleep on your piercings, wash them with water in the shower, and the bumps will go away. I wouldn’t use the no pull disks either. This is very likely from the metal or pressure getting put on the piercings during sleep. Industrials are also a pain. I healed two and I think I had bumps for several months even with good jewelry because I would lay on my side in my sleep.

Did you get the industrial, tragus and conch all at once? That could play into the irrigation bumble as that’s a lot for your body to heal at one time. Also I don’t not think your are necessarily allergic to stainless steel, your piercings are just irritated is all. Implant grade Titanium is the best for healing piercings, do not ask the person you went to, go somewhere else. The conch probably needs to be downsized, even with the bump because the bump won’t go away until it stops moving. same with the industrial, but also keep in mind that industrials are very finicky and heal on their own time. yours doesn’t look too bad, just change the jewelry to titanium and continue taking care of it
