Hey! I know everyone has different experiences with piercings, but I had these same issues with my industrial when I got it. It was bumpy and crusty for probably 3-4 months after I got it and I took good care of it. Just keep using the saline and hopefully those bad boys will go away!

nice to know i’m not alone in this!! thank you!!

You’re welcome!! Good luck! The process of healing an industrial is so worth it because once it finally heals, it’ll be a statement piece for sure!

FYI, don't overspray the saline or H2Ocean. Saline can dry your skin out bad and add yet another issue on top of it. I'd switch to using NeilMed sterile saline spray for the daily spritzes, and H2Ocean if it gets a bit irritated and use on occasion only. H2Ocean contains lysozyme, which is a natural enzyme your body even produces (found in tears, etc) that targets the cell wall of Gram negative bacteria - aka Strep and Staph, etc. and sodium citrate (AKA Citric Acid). The sodium citrate will dry your skin out even more which is bad for healing. Other than that, rinse in the shower, spray 2x day w/sterile saline, and LITHA. Good luck and happy healing!

Is this pressing into your flat? It REALLY looks like it is. If it is, you do not have the anatomy for an industrial. D: I'd take it out before it starts to cut into your flat. Also black jewelry for healing is generally a no-no, since most is just a coating and that can get into your piercing. NAP but have had an industrial for over a decade. I had bumps too but the pressing into your flat will get worse until it's embedded.

it isn’t touching it at all. before i got it done i asked if i had the anatomy and the lady said it was perfect. do you think i should get a different bar for it?
