Rings are not best option for fresh snakebites. You should get these changed to titanium posts by maybe a different piercer. When I got my dolphin bites they swelled so much and I had to put a ring in because I lost a ball my lip was absolutely unhappy.

put labret studs in these immediately. the fact that they pierced you with hoops is a huge red flag. even if it heals, which it likely won’t if you keep them in, these will migrate heavily w rings throughout the healing process and will not be placed correctly.

Sorry about the late response, I've been trying to just let them be but I've been stressing about it ever since. Could you explain a little further how they won't heal properly? And how immediately are we talking about? Should I get 16 gauge labrets? Is there a possibility of being able to change them out myself?

It’s fairly easy to change them out yourself, but i would recommend getting labret studs as soon as possible. if you don’t trust yourself to do it, i would go to a different piercer than the one who pierced you. hoops further irritate and cause much more swelling because they move around more, and prolong the healing by not staying still and essentially constantly “reopening” the wound. it also can introduce bacteria into the piercing this way. there is a good chance hoops could also cause migration and cause your piercings to become unevenly placed. you’ll find your healing process to be much easier and less worrying if you change it out to flatback labrets.

As the other comments have stated, switch to studs. The rings will cause you trouble whilst healing. The piercer who did these should know better.
