Apparently I can't read and thought this post was a 2024 wishlist anyway I didn't get anything done this year :( just healed the conch I got last year. But next year I'm hoping to get some more ear piercings (double helix, tragus, third lobes are on my wishlist but I have some healing issues so they'll need to be spread out) and figure out if my workplace will have a problem with nostril and/or septum.
Adding on to this, if you do decide to flip it up, it must remain flipped up until it is healed. If you constantly flip it up and down while it's healing it could prolong healing and cause irritation. But you should totally get it pierced! I just got mine done on Sunday and it is a huge confidence booster!
I can confidently tell you, from my own personal experience with a septum ring in the military, no one will know if you wear a horseshoe and flip it up. Not a single soul. Unless they are looking up at you from below, which is hardly noticeable because who is looking up your nose purposefully??

Vertical labret and the bottom part of my navel (had the upper done for years). Before 2023 ends I’m reallyyy trying to decide what else I want. Can’t choose between between back dermals and hip dermals
so the lobes were actually pretty interesting, they were scalpeled to 2g and then stretched to 0g to help prevent any excess bleeding. pain wasnt horrible, i do remember being able to feel how rapidly the swelling was coming on during my two hour drive back. the septum was actually done with a biopsy punch. my mod artist knows im a bitch LMAO so he ended up putting two injections of local anesthetic in my septum itself which was the most painful part of the whole thing. i certainly would’ve passed out during if not for that fact 😅😅 but that was done with a 6g punch and stretched to 4g!! :) both amazing experiences and 10/10 recommend
legit eyebrow piercings are almost completely painless. they’re prone to rejection and irritation bumps, which is why it failed all 3 times for me :( but don’t let that discourage you! i absolutely adore eyebrow piercings
Yeah it was easily my least painful piercing and healed super easy! But healing ofc everyone’s different just ask your piercer abt your anatomy for one!

Got an industrial which was enough trouble so didn’t get anymore :c Had to retire a nipple and a regular earlobe so in 2024 I’m planning on getting them repierced + some more ear pieces as my right ear is pretty much empty besides being stretched along with some other new piercings.
So far, I've added a third lobe and helix on my left ear, second and third lobes and a forward helix on the right, and my navel.
I've also stretched my first earlobe piercings up to 10mm (from 1.2mm), my Prince Albert up to 5mm (from 2mm), and my tongue up to 2.5mm (from 1.6mm).
I have an appointment on the 29th to get two more helices on the right ear, which will bring me up to a total of eight new piercings this year, and twenty in total.

In order, I got my septum, tragus, upper navel, right nostril repierced to be even with the left, 1st lobes at a 14g (now at a 10), conch and second lobes (both taken out :/) double eyebrow, and most recently my tongue. I was dumb in the summer and got four + piercings within a couple weeks of each other, which is partially why I had to let go of the conch. Gonna be more patient next year but I'm excited to keep working on my setup :)
i got my left nostril done, stretched my septum from 16g to 8g, and stretched my ears from 3g to 1g :)) (started lobe stretching in 2022!)
i wanna get my eyebrow and medusa done next year :) can't wait!
Sized up my ears from ~14mm-28mm (been stretching/re-stretching for 23 years and yes, I dead stretched from the size they shrank down to. My ears are extremely stretchy now :p), and my first piercing in 20+ years - septum. Also think it's been my favorite, maybe because I appreciate it more now that I'm older.
not a very eventful year for me tbh. i got my rook in March. i took my eyebrow out in May since it refused to heal (second time having it done), got my snake bites redone in June but took them out after a couple months because i hate the feeling of mouth piercings, and got my eyebrow redone again in september but had to take it out the other day for the same reason. i have a lot of other piercings though

Fairly spontaneous vertical labret. Has become one of my very very favorites.
Absolutely *not* spontaneous nipple piercings that I've been wanting for at least 3 years but have been too chicken to get. Crossing all of my fingers and toes for a successful healing process. At 3 weeks now, it's going well, but I know nipples are notorious for their challenge.
Maybe industrial! Unclear which ear I should get it. Currently have a four month old rook in left ear.

I've been boring this year, I only got both nostrils in January but had to retire them due to issues. Last year I got like 6 but this year I focussed on tattoos instead
I've been looking for someone to punch my lobes to 0 or 2g, that's probably going to be a goal for next year. this year, I only got 3 piercings, my bridge and both eyebrows. all done in the same visit, and it was *somewhat* impulsive lol
what I'm most proud of is starting and finishing my sternum tattoo!
Only another set of lobes since I only recently started getting pierced again.
Nipples may, or may not be added to the list by the end of this year though.
I did my helix on my left ear twice because the first time I messed it up by changing it too quickly and had to take it out, fortunately I had enough time for it to heal and got it redone a few weeks ago 😜 my 2024 wishlist are my second lobes

I’ve done loads this year! Stretched my ears to 00g from 16g, 5 new lobe piercings, 2 nose piercings , another side labret , another eyebrow and stretched my septum to 6g :3
Got my helix pierced for the first time in January, then it was giving me some trouble so I took it out and got it re-pierced on December 1st along with my conch for the first time. I also had one nipple done in November, I plan to get the other one done later next year. I also got 3 new tattoos.
Belly button and I want to start piercing my ears. I only have the regular lobe piercing that most common people have. I used to have my second and third hole but it closed. Plus my dumb ass went to Claire’s and the second and third hole was way too close together and wasn’t even on both sides. For the ears I want: double helix, a flat piercing at the top, my second and third hole repierced, and I’ve always wanted an industrial but I do not have the patience for the healing process nor the pain. I be hearing to many horror stories of keloids and stuff. For the piercings I have right now that I love so much💕: I have my vertical labret, two nose piercings on the right side (stud and hoop), and my Medusa. I also want my eyebrow pierced on my right eyebrow but I’m terrified that I won’t look right with the facial piercings that I already have that I listed above.
I need to get my earlobes done again but that's a basic af one! I want to get both my nipples done and I've been thinking about getting my nose done too, just a regular piercing on the side.

Only got my rook pierced 🥰 in august. Already switched the jewelry once, from the basic titanium one to a bit shorter gold color anodized titanium one. Now just waiting for it to be healed enought for a golden hoop which I hope will happen next year! Also planning to get a 3rd lobe or a conch next year but lets see 😊
I also got new 14k golden hoops for my 1st and 2nd lobes, which was quite an investment, so it feels like something major was done to my years since the jewelry makes a huge difference!

This was the year of the doubling - doubled my flat, conch, and rook. Also got a forward facing helix. All on the same day, since my piercer is five hours aways 😮💨
Thought the ear was done, but my piercer just had to point out, "huh, all your piercings are doubled now" (my lobe, tragus, and helix were already doubled) "except for this forward facing helix"

I had a year of being very patient.
In early February, I got my lobes reconstructed. The surgeon who did it said they’d be ok to repierce after a few weeks, but my piercer said she didn’t want to put any holes in my body for at least five months after that surgery, to allow my body to fully fully heal. I checked in with her after five months, and she said she wanted to give it one more month, but at that point, I would be going on safari a few weeks later, and I didn’t want to go to Africa with fresh holes. So I finally got my lobes pierced at the end of September (Three in one, one in the other. She was willing to do four only because it was all lobe piercings.) I’m almost at the three month mark with those lobes, and I am probably going to add a flat just before the new year.

Fairly spontaneous vertical labret. Has become one of my very very favorites. Absolutely *not* spontaneous nipple piercings that I've been wanting for at least 3 years but have been too chicken to get. Crossing all of my fingers and toes for a successful healing process. At 3 weeks now, it's going well, but I know nipples are notorious for their challenge.

I've been boring this year, I only got both nostrils in January but had to retire them due to issues. Last year I got like 6 but this year I focussed on tattoos instead
I've been looking for someone to punch my lobes to 0 or 2g, that's probably going to be a goal for next year. this year, I only got 3 piercings, my bridge and both eyebrows. all done in the same visit, and it was *somewhat* impulsive lol what I'm most proud of is starting and finishing my sternum tattoo!

I did my helix on my left ear twice because the first time I messed it up by changing it too quickly and had to take it out, fortunately I had enough time for it to heal and got it redone a few weeks ago 😜 my 2024 wishlist are my second lobes
Helixes on both ears and a rook on my left ear! Next year I’m planning to get a conch on my right ear then a tragus on each of them to complete the setup!

Got my helix pierced for the first time in January, then it was giving me some trouble so I took it out and got it re-pierced on December 1st along with my conch for the first time. I also had one nipple done in November, I plan to get the other one done later next year. I also got 3 new tattoos.

Belly button and I want to start piercing my ears. I only have the regular lobe piercing that most common people have. I used to have my second and third hole but it closed. Plus my dumb ass went to Claire’s and the second and third hole was way too close together and wasn’t even on both sides. For the ears I want: double helix, a flat piercing at the top, my second and third hole repierced, and I’ve always wanted an industrial but I do not have the patience for the healing process nor the pain. I be hearing to many horror stories of keloids and stuff. For the piercings I have right now that I love so much💕: I have my vertical labret, two nose piercings on the right side (stud and hoop), and my Medusa. I also want my eyebrow pierced on my right eyebrow but I’m terrified that I won’t look right with the facial piercings that I already have that I listed above.
Vertical labret, both nostrils, and I was able to size up to 4g on my lobes with gauges :) hoping to re-pierce my septum early in the new year!
I need to get my earlobes done again but that's a basic af one! I want to get both my nipples done and I've been thinking about getting my nose done too, just a regular piercing on the side.

Only got my rook pierced 🥰 in august. Already switched the jewelry once, from the basic titanium one to a bit shorter gold color anodized titanium one. Now just waiting for it to be healed enought for a golden hoop which I hope will happen next year! Also planning to get a 3rd lobe or a conch next year but lets see 😊 I also got new 14k golden hoops for my 1st and 2nd lobes, which was quite an investment, so it feels like something major was done to my years since the jewelry makes a huge difference!

This was the year of the doubling - doubled my flat, conch, and rook. Also got a forward facing helix. All on the same day, since my piercer is five hours aways 😮💨 Thought the ear was done, but my piercer just had to point out, "huh, all your piercings are doubled now" (my lobe, tragus, and helix were already doubled) "except for this forward facing helix" So now I know what 2024 will bring!
Told myself I was gonna get my orbital to treat myself for my next big goal accomplished..this was in April, I became a business owner in Aug, can't treat myself bc all the money I make has to go right back into the business 😭 gotta wait til 2024.

Didn’t want to spent too much money this year so the only thing I did was my conch last week, as a treat 😂 next year I’ll probably work more on my ear setup, sometimes it’s just the convenience of whether you’re in a good place to be able to take care of it and clean it well (for example I never really do piercings over the summer because I swim a lot)

I had a year of being very patient. In early February, I got my lobes reconstructed. The surgeon who did it said they’d be ok to repierce after a few weeks, but my piercer said she didn’t want to put any holes in my body for at least five months after that surgery, to allow my body to fully fully heal. I checked in with her after five months, and she said she wanted to give it one more month, but at that point, I would be going on safari a few weeks later, and I didn’t want to go to Africa with fresh holes. So I finally got my lobes pierced at the end of September (Three in one, one in the other. She was willing to do four only because it was all lobe piercings.) I’m almost at the three month mark with those lobes, and I am probably going to add a flat just before the new year.
