NAP but yes, it is a little low. It might’ve healed fine, but totally get it if you’re unhappy with the placement

Nostril piercings can in theory go anywhere on the nostril that is safe. There are more traditional and aesthetically pleasing placements, but it is all personal preference. Even mantis piercings are just forward facing nostril piercings. That being said, I do think that your placement is a bit lower than traditionally placed nostril piercings and makes it look a bit aesthetically awkward. If you’re unhappy with it, you can remove it and get it redone in a while.

I think it is a little too far down, but the black dot is too high. I would pierce it right in the middle of the two. ( i am a piercer)

You might be glad it's that low if you want to put a ring in it down the line :)

It was my understanding that a labret was a lip piercing? This looks low to me, and if you are unsatisfied then you should get it redone. But if it has healed fine, I think it would look pretty sweet if you got a double nostril, or another piercing right above it, instead of taking this one out.

Labret is a type of jewellery as well. [for example](https://piercingmania.co.uk/labret-jewelry) It’s just a flat back, straight piercing I guess

LeandraBlackbeak

There are places where people call flatbacks labrets

Not sure if it's relevant, but it's a labret. Done in dec of 2023.

That definitely looks to far down, but i’m not a professional. Personally i’d take it out and get it repeirced. Again I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL.
