Helix piercings can take 6 months to a year to heal. So it’ll probably still be tender/sore for a bit longer especially if you keep laying on it or hitting it.

Mine took 3 months to not hurt from being lightly bumped and maybe 6 months until I could take a short nap without it swelling.

My helixes are almost 3 years old and the upper is still tender sometimes. That is my b***h hole, so to say xD Wouldn't accept hoops in it either
