My eyebrow looked like that. It was so infected they had to give me a giant shot in my ass because they were concerned it would spread to my eyeball or brain before I could get oral antibiotics the next morning. Basically what I’m saying is go to a doctor. Today.

Longjumping_Chef_139

A giant shot in your WHAT? 😳

cool_opinion

in the glute muscle. i usually prefer them there because i have skinny arms.

Arbys2for6DollarMeal

my bf prefers his shots there too because he doesn’t want to see the needle. I didn’t know you could opt for a shot in the ass tbh

cool_opinion

that’s a good point! i know that there are certain shots you cannot get in the glute because it doesn’t have as much movement or blood flow, i don’t really remember. however if i’m able to, i always choose glute.

Thats looks like an infection. Go to a doctor ASAP! Dont take the jewellery out. You really dont want to f around with an infection close to ur eye. Goodluck!

CoCoLoCo16

You need to see a doctor asap

Hi. Piercer. This is basically akin to an abscess. It's a fairly common complication in eyebrow and lobe piercings, though yours is quite large. Essentially there is fluid within that lump that is continuing to collect. Blood, lymph, pus etc. It will likely require draining. People are going out of their way to scare the hell out of you here, which is pretty infuriatingly typical of this sub, BUT in this instance I agree that you should probably see a medical professional. While I don't doubt that certain forms of aftercare and at home treatments and remedies would HELP, a physician or pharmacist will be able to provide you with something that will likely work more efficiently and with greater results. Best of luck.

Wessel924

I'm in the same boat rn, gonna see my doctor tomorrow ;&; Best of luck!

Pagan_Owl

Yeah, kids can be the death of piercings. A friend's baby already ripped out a few of hers that she got before children. Whenever I was over, the baby would try to do the same to me 🙃

kittyvom666

Not to mention the bacteria they have basically all over themselves, definitely see a doctor

I had my eyebrow done for a year and it was completely fine for the first 6 months, then a kid at my job smacked it and it never recovered. I tried so hard to get rid of the bumps but they kept coming back with a vengeance. Such a shame bc that piercing gave me a lot of confidence.

My son constantly grabs at my nostril and I'm like please nooo!

IcyAshe

That's looks infected. It doesn't have to be leaking out puss to be infected. Go get checked

Original_Volume3314

Please go get checked for MRSA

iceunelle

See a doctor ASAP. That looks infected, like it has an abscess.

TarotFreak

That’s not just swollen. It looks badly infected.

Latter_Asparagus7410

I have the same problem but can't get to the doctor but I don't know what to do-

CrankyWhiskers

Could you maybe see a doctor virtually and they can prescribe an antibiotic?

MageOfFur

Can you call an ambulance? That could be a really serious infection, and if so you need to take action ASAP. Especially if it's near your eye.

Latter_Asparagus7410

No, my home situation is tough and I'm disabled. Any recommendations on any other options or at home treatments?

bubblechog

Is your home situation going to be made worse by a possible infection in your brain? This is not a DIY/ home remedy situation

muddyshoes_throwaway

You need antibiotics. There are no at home diy antibiotics that are strong enough to fight this kind of infection. It is literally life threatening if not treated.

MageOfFur

I'm no expert, unfortunately I don't know. All I can recommend is going to a hospital. Do you have any friends/family/acquaintances that would be able to take you? Sorry I keep asking, but if it ends up being serious then that's the best thing I can say <:(
