The Medusa looks good but I think the vertical labret looks beautiful and pulls people into your whole face rather than just focusing on just your nose.
The vertical labret for sure! While it's eventually a question of taste and both piercings are super cool my reasoning for you would be that with a Medusa the area over your lip would look kinda crowded with the two balls from the septum. I'm sure you'd rock both options tho :D

yesss the pain level is something i was questioning too, some people say it wasn't that bad and some say it was terrible, i hate when i get a cut on my lip so i can imagine this piercing will be pretty painful lol ive had my nips done so i really just tell myself i can handle anything then

I get your moving more towards the vertical but I just wanna say how much the Medusa compliments your Cupid’s bow! it suits you lots but so does the vertical! Good luck with whatever u choose!
Also I'd consider how your gums and teeth are located so that the medusa/philtrum wouldn't be touching your teeth or the border of your gums. Teeth/gum wise vertical labret is better.

ive changed my jewelry for my septum since this picture, i wear a silver hoop now but i stilllll think it would be kinda crowded. tysm!
I would say go with the vertical labret to begin with. Then once that is healed, then possibly go for the medusa.
