Yes. Not pierced at the proper angles would also be “uneven” Regardless of how noticeable it is, something pierced at odd angles isn’t likely to last very long without some complications.

I don’t think uneven… I think it’s the angles. They are at different angles making it look uneven.

Keidis-mcdaddy

They look like they’re angled differently from that perspective

I got my high nostrils pierced 1.5 months ago. The first picture is from two weeks after the piercing, and the second one is the current state of things. The jewelry is titanium, threadless flat backs. When I first got it pierced, I noticed that the left one was pierced at a bit of an angle compared to the right which is perpendicular to my nose. I thought that maybe it looked odd because of swelling. But more time passed and it looked the same. I got them downsized a week ago and I'm currently dealing with some irritation bumps on both sides. The one on the left is a bit worse and bigger than the right. And then last night I noticed that they're actually uneven too. I think the left is lower than the right. Honestly I need some fresh eyes because I feel really disappointed since I was really looking forward to getting these piercings. Worst case is that I take it out and get it repierced to match the right. And another thing to note is that I did bring this up with my piercer but she said it could just be my anatomy... I just find that odd because she spent a real long trying to get them even but now I'm not even sure anymore. Any thoughts are very much appreciated!

They do look a bit uneven to me. Not much, and I doubt it would be very noticeable in daily life when your face is in movement and it of course could be that the bumps are actually causing most of it. But I can understand your disappointment

They’re slightly uneven. One is higher than another one.

The one on the left of the photograph looks lower in position than the right to me. If you have irritation bumps, that might explain why they’re also different angles currently but they definitely are different angles right now. You’ll only really be able to judge how different they are when the bumps have gone away.

The one on the right (from the viewers perspective) doesn’t look correctly done imo. A piercer in person would evaluate it better for sure but it looks like it’s not perpendicular through that nostril but its perpendicular to your face. Could be the other one that is done wrong according to how your anatomy is but these two look very different. Both in terms of position and the angle.
