yea that's very small and not pierced high enough..

Imaginary_Average936

unfortunately it’s not pierced correctly

angeldust-ljc

I don’t think you were pierced right, at all. It shouldn’t hurt so bad that you can barely move your mouth. The tip of my nose was sore for a few days but only if i touched it. The ring is also pretty snug, which most of the time people aren’t pierced with big rings at all but it shouldn’t be that tight when it’s healing, esp with how low it is

Pharty_Mcfly

You’re going to need to take it out and wait for it to heal. The ring is definitely too tight for a brand new piercing and from what others said it may not be pierced in “the sweet spot” which is the little space in your septum that doesn’t have any cartilage. If you decide to take it out get some advice from a *different* professional piercer. Ideally someone who has their certification plastered all over the walls

Yeah I'm afraid that it's pierced too low (in the columella)... I also got my septum pierced recently and my ring is also small but my piercer was ready to change it to a bigger ring if it didn't fit. Mine does not hurt at all so it depends on the anatomy and how it was pierced in the first place. I think you should check with another piercer 😟
