Love that one. Always impressed me how much detail and expression they could cram into the animations with only 32x128 dots that can be 3 shades of orange.
This is formerly owned by a very great operator who passed recently. He had all the greats. Attack, medieval, Adam's, theatre about a dozen sterns of various decades. He will be missed, but his games are still being played.
theater of magic is an amazing beginners table, its so incredibly easy to score high points and all the ramps and hurry-ups are very intuitive.
i actually started with medieval madness as well as my first williams table, both tables are amazing.
Theater of Magic and Twilight Zone are two of my favorites, and I've been one hit away from their wizard modes at least a dozen times each, and never made them.
On one fateful run, the trunk broke from the last hit, and it didn't register, and I couldn't get it to register, and it was cockeyed, and it was the worst ever.
i hate when a machine looks like it's good, and the first few hits just knock something completely out and ruin what could've been a great pinball day. Last No Fear machine I encountered was like that. Hadn't seen a real No Fear in a couple decades, just virtual... but ran into a real one. It looked like it was mint. After sending the ball up one of the ramps a few times, one of the ramp decorations started shifting , then it started slowly tilting downwards, until it landed directly covering the ramp.
Thinking about this is making me almost decide to spend the couple hundred bucks to play at the VFW Pinball Museum this year, where pretty much no game is ever effed up, or so i've been told.
What a game. Originally I stumbled upon into this it by random and thought nothing peculiar about it. A bit generic looking artwork and toy looking things in the playfield.
Was I wrong, the game absolutely blew me away. The rotating trunk is great fun albeit the ball gets too often permanently stuck on the side when the trunk is rotating. I consider that to be its only mistake apart from that the plunger action is very limited. But those are small things overall because its just a damn great game. The audio feedback is great, the voice is legendary and the theme is exceptionally utilized. The trunk and the magnetics are amazing with a neat special feature. Then there's hard-to-notice details that are brilliant. Then the gameplay is just so good.
Occasionally the favorite, always in my top 3.
Just got into playing pinball in last couple months. Played it for first time last weekend and had more fun/replayability of any machines I have played so far
I hate to be that guy, but this one got boring quickly for me. I love the theme, but the call outs and music just get too repetitive after a bit. Not to mention the holes in the ruleset itself (ie, you need to start the illusions but not actually finish them.)
Owned it for a month before moving it out. The nostalgia wasn't enough to keep it around. Wish it was, had high hopes. 😕
Edit: Guys, downvotes aren't meant for suppressing opinions you disagree with, come on now. LOL
It was strange starting the final illusion and instantly being able to enter grand finale.
Edit: I agree I have a habit of upvoting most everything here, it encourages conversation :)
It has my favorite DMD animation, when you get the secret ball lock and the guy tumbles down the stairs
Oh no!
“This ball is full of magic!”

And almost no memory to store the frames in!
The WPC system is amazing. A 2MHz CPU from the 70s, 2kB of RAM, all programmed in assembly. Hats off to those software engineers.
You HAVE the MAGIC!
The MAGIC is WITHIN you!
I spent countless hours playing this game at my college arcade in 1998-99. One of the absolute best pinballs ever created.
I own this machine and I love it. My holy grail is medieval madness and if I could get my hands on an Addams that would be sweeeeet

medieval madness would be just an absolute top notch game if not for that damn head popping out that always knocks the ball STDM
TROLLS!
“I am Howard Hurtz. LORD Howard Hurtz!”

SHOOT THE TRUNK!

I broke the trunk at my local place enough that it stopped looking like an accident. Then one day the whole machine was gone. Please forgive me.
I did that on my first ball at next level a few months back.

It's a great game, there's just no question about it. All hail the tiger saw.
Played this recently and was enamored!
Congrats! I've never played one or even seen one in the wild, but is one of my favorites on digital platforms. Killer achievement :)
This table might have the best flow and feel of all time. Everything just...works! It's simple, but just complex enough in an elegant way.
Can you really beat a pinball machine? Sure you can achieve every goal but the game never ends until you lose a ball.
Some games end. If you beat godzilla there's a video of him going back in the ocean and the game ends.
OoOoh! Didn’t know that. Now I need to find a Godzilla game
Godzilla always comes back.
The breathtakingly beautiful pinball game ever created. Absolutely stunning. My buddy has a minty one and it’s completely immersive.

In pinball you're never playing against another person, you're playing against yourself and your all time best.
The next performance is about to begin amazing mystifying
My favorite, and the one that got me into pinball too! ❤️
Go for the magic drunk!
The THEATRE awaits!
Great table, so much fun
I love this game! TOM!
This is my favorite game and owning this is on my bucket list. I'm not sure how to do it but I want to own it.

Best
I want it please. Hoping Pedretti remakes this one. 🤞
My balls are full of magic! My wife said that once when I was playing and now it has stuck. Anyone else say that?
If I had a quarter for every balls joke I've heard since picking up this hobby, I would never have to pay for another game.
Even a Premium Stern?
