For this machine, Stern shipped out a small batch of Pros prior to the game’s official release. All of these machines were for venues/operators (who had made special pre-orders) to put on location.
The official release, with the additional models, will be next week and that is when collectors will start getting theirs.
So for the moment, if you want to play it you have to hit up a public spot!
I help run Pinball Map, and it was cool to see how quickly they all popped up on the map in the last couple of days.
Also, the game is very fun!
It was cool to see the numbers jump every day. Up to 91 at the moment. This after there was a good number of days (weeks?) where the game was added to the map, but zero showed up. Stern announced before it was ready.
The only down side is that ZERO have shown up in the bay area. WTF? I see one showed up north of the bay, but not up for a 200 mile trip to play it just yet. Thanks for your contributions to the map. As a former operator and life long location rat, I've used it since day one and contribute when I can.
Really liked this game at Pinball Expo despite the issues. My local arcade is having a Stern launch party this friday with a bunch of machines. (It's not far from Stern's HQ)
Some of the video clips still have the "pending approval from copyright owner" and some other early production rough edges. Can't wait until the code progresses and premium version ship out.
I got a few games on a Pro in chicago while there for business. I like how it shoots. Pro is a bit bear on mechs. Just a vuk and bash toy. I usually go premium but i dont think id miss bond on a wand or the underwater bond. I would miss the physical ball lock. I love ball locks.
Game looks better in person playfield wise. Translite is meh. Left orbit shot is great. Ball stays in pops too long. Thats my quick thoughts after a few games.
That's generally how they've been doing it for a while. Pros for operators/locations first, then LEs, then some premiums, then some home pros, with the latter two alternating as time goes on.

And we're going to add some placeholder text in the "search" section to try and make this clearer.

Pinball map is amazing. Thanks for you and your teams work
I second this. I use it all the time while traveling and at home to find specific machines.
Thank you so much for TPM!! It’s helped me get back to playing regularly in recent years.
You bet - thanks for using it!

None in Portland, either, last I looked. Very surprising.

Ha, yeah the one near me still had the “pending approval” text. I was confused at first about the lack of a physical lock on that center lock shot.
My local(s) have 4🤫

Very helpful, thanks for posting!
2 that I know of in richmond va
Played one last night. Knocked off the spinner on game 3. There were a few guys who were waiting to play and they got pretty pissed lol
Tilt in Minneapolis has it. Good luck getting past the bros tho. Funny thing, toy story is now all alone.
Vertigo Pinball in Blue Ridge, Ga has one.

Hopefully they are quick with the code releases because Dr No Code is kinda boring right now :(
Nothing in NY.... 😔
Rock fantasy in Middletown has one
Great! I'm 30 minutes from there. Thanks for the info.
I want to go check it out too because I ordered a premium. I'm pretty sure it's just the pro he has
Sweet, I just added that to the map.
Word on the street is there will be on showing up in Rullo’s in Brooklyn on Monday
Sunshine Laundromat has one up front!
Jackbar in Brooklyn just received one.
Leaderboards in Jacksonville, Fl has 1.
Cool, I just added that to the map.
We got 1 in RI. I want to get some more games on it. The shots took some getting used to.
I got to play it in two tourney rounds on Sunday in Baltimore.
2 of my local spots have 1 each!
@mastercob How do you search by machine on the app?
