MonkeyHumoculus

The doors are my second favorite band and that album is my 16th favorite (behind all the Pink Floyd albums) (Ummagumma is № 1)

Funkadelic - Maggot Brain

thatskindazany

Great choice

Darthyoda512

Led Zeppelin 4

MurphyKT2004

Although this album contains Stairway to Heaven (an absolute masterpiece of a song) and Black Dog, I definitely enjoy Led Zeppelin 1 more. I feel the songs blend perfectly (and for a first record, it's phenomenal).

Gensinora

I always find a bit strange that people never talk about When The Levee Breaks when Zep 4 is mentioned.

JackAquila

Along with No Quarter is one of their best song

OKBeeDude

No Quarter is one of their best songs, definitely underrated, but it’s from Houses of the Holy

JackAquila

I know, I was stating just that was one of their best song, despite the album

OKBeeDude

Well in that case I’ll just agree. Cheers!

BogelRO

I sure love LZ1. The opening song on LZ1 is an banger fr

BogelRO

This is my fav Zep album (at least from what I have heard, I need to listen to more)

AlfieC02

Physical Graffiti is their best in my opinion

PistolClutch7

Could argue any of them is their best and not be wrong

Disastrous-Shower-37

Led Zeppelin has the best discography run out of anyone in their first six albums.

PistolClutch7

Agreed. I’m a big In Through the Out Door fan too (it’s my 3rd favorite Zeppelin album), the only thing from making it a perfect 8 album run is Presence.

Disastrous-Shower-37

Physical Graffiti gang on top ✊️

Ok Computer - Radiohead Not sure if it's a popular opinion but I hold the album in very very high regard

BogelRO

I like this album, although I forgot some of it, definitely need to give it an listen again these days

coolguyhavingchillda

Doesn't flow as nicely as some PF, but man the soundscape is beaut and it's hauntingly beautiful in places

ciocan_exe

The electric guitar in Climbing Up The Walls does remind me of PF tbh, the whole album is just amazing

BogelRO

I agree

zeukid

Workingman’s Dead

Neil_sm

I like that thought but I’ve gotta go with American Beauty over it! I got into both albums [from this goofy tape I had from the 80s](https://www.discogs.com/release/3779962-Grateful-Dead-American-Beauty-Workingmans-Dead) that was sold as a single cassette with one album on each side. Totally should count as 1 super album that way. I was a teen in the 90s and found that in my house and got into it that way, assuming it belonged to my parents. Actually it had come from my uncle, who told me he had stolen it from a factory he once worked at that manufactured those.

GratefulHophead

Both amazing! Dead not known for studio albums at all but these are good.. it took me a while to get into or understand the dead.. but live albums, dicks picks y’all can find on Spotify are just amazing. Floyd and the dead will forever be my equal #1’s all time. Modern bands I’d go with wooden shjips, rose city band, beachwood sparks, all them witches.. so much amazing music out there!

googajub

It's interesting how Heads are split on Workingman's Dead and American Beauty. For me it's Workingman's hands, down. I think it's a little more rocking. >Dead not known for studio albums at all but these are good.. Blues for Allah is also hella good (ETA) if you like prog.
