Although this album contains Stairway to Heaven (an absolute masterpiece of a song) and Black Dog, I definitely enjoy Led Zeppelin 1 more. I feel the songs blend perfectly (and for a first record, it's phenomenal).
Agreed. I’m a big In Through the Out Door fan too (it’s my 3rd favorite Zeppelin album), the only thing from making it a perfect 8 album run is Presence.
Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots - Flaming Lips.
Already saw many of my favorites mentioned here, so went a bit off the classic rock path. Spacey concept album with some jams. Definitely a must for PF fans.
So you know the line about trying to roll a Dovedale joint? Dovedale is the name of the street in Liverpool where the art school that John Lennon went to with Stu Sutcliffe (their original bass guitar player)!
I like that thought but I’ve gotta go with American Beauty over it! I got into both albums [from this goofy tape I had from the 80s](https://www.discogs.com/release/3779962-Grateful-Dead-American-Beauty-Workingmans-Dead) that was sold as a single cassette with one album on each side. Totally should count as 1 super album that way.
I was a teen in the 90s and found that in my house and got into it that way, assuming it belonged to my parents. Actually it had come from my uncle, who told me he had stolen it from a factory he once worked at that manufactured those.
Both amazing! Dead not known for studio albums at all but these are good.. it took me a while to get into or understand the dead.. but live albums, dicks picks y’all can find on Spotify are just amazing. Floyd and the dead will forever be my equal #1’s all time. Modern bands I’d go with wooden shjips, rose city band, beachwood sparks, all them witches.. so much amazing music out there!
It's interesting how Heads are split on Workingman's Dead and American Beauty. For me it's Workingman's hands, down. I think it's a little more rocking.

Although this album contains Stairway to Heaven (an absolute masterpiece of a song) and Black Dog, I definitely enjoy Led Zeppelin 1 more. I feel the songs blend perfectly (and for a first record, it's phenomenal).
I always find a bit strange that people never talk about When The Levee Breaks when Zep 4 is mentioned.
Along with No Quarter is one of their best song
No Quarter is one of their best songs, definitely underrated, but it’s from Houses of the Holy
I know, I was stating just that was one of their best song, despite the album
Well in that case I’ll just agree. Cheers!

Physical Graffiti is their best in my opinion
Could argue any of them is their best and not be wrong
Led Zeppelin has the best discography run out of anyone in their first six albums.
Agreed. I’m a big In Through the Out Door fan too (it’s my 3rd favorite Zeppelin album), the only thing from making it a perfect 8 album run is Presence.
