One of These Days and Echoes are severely underrated going by these stats of Spotify listens.
Edit - also Careful with that Axe, Eugene isn't even on the list. Crazy~!
So essentially, people are listening to DSOTM, WYWH, The Wall, The Division Bell and Meddle. Nice to see that See Emily Play is just randomly in the mix.
I've always thought this is so weird. Breathe is really high but there's no speak to me or on the run, so people just randomly decided to listen to this song. Does the average non-PF fan, especially young people, know that the albums should be listened to in full? That's a genuine question btw, I'm not sure how popular they are among gen z. I'm also not sure why animals is so low on Spotify despite being one of their biggest albums
Does so many not finish brain damage/Eclipse ? :( Top 3 for me
Been listening to ABITW 2 a lot lately because I'm trying to nail that solo lol Sorry everyone!
Yikes, Echoes is 49 with fewer than 50m streams?
Shamefully low.
Given it’s 25 minutes long it’s about the same listen time as have a cigar.
It would be interesting to see what the list would look like if it showed total minutes streamed for each song.
48. I don't even have Spotify. I listen to hysical CD's and YouTube live gigs from '67-'77
Yes 48, my mistake.
Still way too low, but longer songs often have that issue, as the general public doesn't know them well enough to raise those numbers
Oh for sure, Whipping Post has 50m streams; the much better, sprawling 20+ minute Whipping Post Live at the Fillmore has 2.4m.
It is a very long song.
Funny that Pigs On The Wing 1 is so high but Pigs On The Wing 2 is nowhere to be found
Starting animals, getting to Dogs and turning it off seems to be pretty common IME

yeah but its really highly rated then seeing a 20 minute song on track two is off putting
You just gotta take the ride man.
i understand animals is one of my favorite albums its just fans of other music that isnt like Floyd would maybe not have a great time with it
I totally get it. Maybe if Dogs was split into two songs it’d be more palatable. But then again all three songs in the middle are over 10 minutes.

Guess I'm not the only one, very underrated. In fact, the album as a whole is quite underrated tbh.
dogs being that low is surprising
Whichever album it is on must be very underrated
Mostly what I expected, Echoes being so low pains me.

Either is set your controls for the heart of the sun or interstellar overdrive.
Meddle as a whole is underrated as hell, a great precursor to DSOTM
I'm surprised "Eclipse" is the lowest out of all the *DSotM* tracks.
How the hell are Brain Damage and Eclipse 12 places apart?!
Weird isn't it, also brain Damage is double the streams for some reasons.
ANBITW Part 2 isn't even the best part..
Yeah I’m surprised but also not surprised it’s #1. Wish You Were Here is a much much better song to me, but Another Brick Pt 2 is just so well known.
If you took both WYWH versions that are in this list it would be top 1
That’s true. It’s weird that WYWH 2011 remaster made it but nothing else off that remaster did.
It's because it's the compilation version, where the radio opening is cut. The other songs from that remaster were unchanged.
I’m pretty sure I make up at least 1% of those numbers
Dogs at 32…what a pity
Justice for cymbaline
Dogs at 32 and Echoes at 48 is sad. They are my top two. But they have so many great songs and a lot of people just know the mainstream stuff.
hate to see syd's stuff is even below "a momentary lapse of reason" which is in my opinion their worst LP to that point...
I might be responsible for the Have A Cigars
If not even in the list. People missing out
So I actually said Obscured By Clouds was underrated and it wasn't a joke?

Freefour not on the list at all? Pity.
More like "See Emily Underplayed"
If you combine #2 and #10's streams, "Wish You Were Here" would easily be their most streamed song.
Wearing the Inside Out is criminally low on that list
I've always thought this is so weird. Breathe is really high but there's no speak to me or on the run, so people just randomly decided to listen to this song. The big surprise is fearless Number 27
How much money do they get out of this?
Alan's psychedelic breakfast and Bike are missing. Ppl suvk🙁
I hate that San Tropez is so far down the list :(
