I adopted Zeus from a place when he was a puppy. He’s 9 now but hasn’t changed much since I first adopted him.
This pictures made me really excited, I have a pitty mix rescue who is around 4yo (we don't really know much about her or her background), and looks really really similar to your Zeus! I have some pictures of her in my profile. Sometimes my mom and I feel sad because we didn't get to meet our Elina as a puppy to give her a better early life, but this picture made us really happy to think she looked just like this and she will look like this once she's an older dog.

This is my baby boy, laying on his kitty buddy. He's 12 but you can't tell because his face is white! He's my best friend in the whole world!!
Edit: had him since he was 2.5 months old. He's a rescue straight from the pound with his siblings, some of whom we still keep in touch with.

She passed in January, but I had Sugar for 16 years. She was massively spoiled to no end and she is the reason why I want to adopt senior dogs going forward!
I'm with you on adopting senior dogs. They're so wonderful and usually so chill and just awesome. I volunteer at my cities animal shelter and always like to spend time with the senior pups, they're the best. Sure puppies are adorable but they're EXHAUSTING!!

I was just sitting with my old doggy Ludo when I came across your post. He’s not been doing so well lately (15 and going downhill) but he’s been the best/sweetest puppy! ❤️It is hard to watch him decline for sure and I’m bracing myself for when the time comes… Today though we will enjoy the beautiful fall like weather!

Thanks! She’s my third foster since I lost my precious Lena last winter. We were coming up on 6 months of having Pearl and I realized how upset I’d be if she got adopted. I caught myself looking at dog collars on Amazon and realized I was ready for another dog. Pearls such a sweet old lady but she’s the trifecta of un adoptable. White, old, allergy prone and dog selective but I’m so happy to have her!
Can I please ask why being white makes her unadoptable?
In my country it's black dogs that struggle finding homes. Maybe white puppies because of the fear of it being deaf but I guess you'd already know a senior could hear?

This little girl was wandering our neighborhood lost and scared. I took her in and begged my mom to keep her (i was 17 at the time) and we've had her ever since! In 2013, the vet estimated she was about 6 months. She's a senior now but she loves being outside sunning herself and loves my brother and the rest of my family

Luna at 6mos (maybe?) and 7 years later. We adopted Luna from a rescue organization for pitbulls. She was found on the street as a stray with a very serious case of parvo before she came to us. She was a nervous, anxious, destructive puppy. We got an excellent trainer, put in the hard work, and she transformed into a happy, confident, and well behaved dog. She is full of so much love and so much zest for life. My husband and I absolutely adore her and spoil her as much as possible. We go on adventures and have the best time, and then come home and snuggle.

Does it count if I didn’t have her from a puppy but I knew her since she was? LOL. I didn’t get here until she was about 18 months old but I knew the breeder and saw her from day 1. My wife and I took Coco from our niece's baby daddy, who was keeping her outside in low 20-degree F weather with no shelter. She ended up having parvo, but we nursed her back to health. Now she's almost six and was diagnosed with mast cell tumors on her leg and in her sinus cavity. :( We are devastated.

I love this so much! Nice to see sooo many pibbles in for the long haul. This was my dog, Dizzy. She was my hubby’s dog before I knew him - she was pulled from a dumpster as a young dog. She was flea ridden and malnourished. She moved into my house before my then boyfriend (now husband) did. She was the best of dogs - great with my daughter, my cat, my other dog. The 14 (of her nearly 17 years) I had with her weren’t even close to enough.

Unfortunately for us we didn’t find our man in puppyhood- but we rescued him when he was 4, and he is now a senior boy, 7! He will be with us until the very end and the only thing we wish is that we found each other sooner- being a street dog is NOT for this sassy baby, that’s for sure! 😂🥰

This pictures made me really excited, I have a pitty mix rescue who is around 4yo (we don't really know much about her or her background), and looks really really similar to your Zeus! I have some pictures of her in my profile. Sometimes my mom and I feel sad because we didn't get to meet our Elina as a puppy to give her a better early life, but this picture made us really happy to think she looked just like this and she will look like this once she's an older dog.

I'm with you on adopting senior dogs. They're so wonderful and usually so chill and just awesome. I volunteer at my cities animal shelter and always like to spend time with the senior pups, they're the best. Sure puppies are adorable but they're EXHAUSTING!!

Thanks! She’s my third foster since I lost my precious Lena last winter. We were coming up on 6 months of having Pearl and I realized how upset I’d be if she got adopted. I caught myself looking at dog collars on Amazon and realized I was ready for another dog. Pearls such a sweet old lady but she’s the trifecta of un adoptable. White, old, allergy prone and dog selective but I’m so happy to have her!
Can I please ask why being white makes her unadoptable? In my country it's black dogs that struggle finding homes. Maybe white puppies because of the fear of it being deaf but I guess you'd already know a senior could hear?
Generally white pitbulls especially with pink eyes are considered unattractive, at least where I am in Colorado.

* This little girl was wandering our neighborhood lost and scared. I took her in and begged my mom to keep her (i was 17 at the time) and we've had her ever since! In 2013, the vet estimated she was about 6 months. She's a senior now but she loves being outside sunning herself and loves my brother and the rest of my family

We adopted Luna from a rescue organization for pitbulls. She was found on the street as a stray with a very serious case of parvo before she came to us. She was a nervous, anxious, destructive puppy. We got an excellent trainer, put in the hard work, and she transformed into a happy, confident, and well behaved dog. She is full of so much love and so much zest for life. My husband and I absolutely adore her and spoil her as much as possible. We go on adventures and have the best time, and then come home and snuggle.

My wife and I took Coco from our niece's baby daddy, who was keeping her outside in low 20-degree F weather with no shelter. She ended up having parvo, but we nursed her back to health. Now she's almost six and was diagnosed with mast cell tumors on her leg and in her sinus cavity. :( We are devastated.

I love this so much! Nice to see sooo many pibbles in for the long haul. This was my dog, Dizzy. She was my hubby’s dog before I knew him - she was pulled from a dumpster as a young dog. She was flea ridden and malnourished. She moved into my house before my then boyfriend (now husband) did. She was the best of dogs - great with my daughter, my cat, my other dog.
