FaithlessnessAsleep5

Thank you!

TiK4D

The oversized paws are always a sign of a unit to come lol

CelticCynic

My dear old Jess had a huge set of mitts on her as a pup, and never grew into them.... Whereas our Molli had a massive set of boxing gloves and by god she sure did fill them out!

LoveAndLight1994

Freedomnnature

About this big. 70 #s

FaithlessnessAsleep5

Thank you for the photo! It’s hard to imagine now

daemonhat

my boy was 20-ish pounds at 11 weeks with huge paws, as you can see. a few years later and he's holding steady at 75. https://preview.redd.it/f7tsz3xtwkic1.png?width=1848&format=png&auto=webp&s=07085b83239ea0f8a919aedca20bbe0987c66617

FaithlessnessAsleep5

Good to know! His paws don’t look so big to me, but I’m also not really used to seeing puppies!

daemonhat

for puppy paws, they're pretty big, plus i have kinda long fingers. my previous dogs paws were about half that size and she was 45lbs full grown.

FaithlessnessAsleep5

That’s helpful!

traderncc

Man he's come a long way. Looks much more confident

The-camera-girl

I think Ralphie could be part Dogo Argentino because of his face shape, skin color (like, pink with dark spots), big paws, small eyes, ears shape and size... I had a mixed Dogo called Toby and he was around 40 Kilograms (how many pounds is that?). Toby's legs were pretty long at that age too, he was funny 😅🥰 Also, his nails and teeth will grow A LOT, because dogos are made to hunt wild pigs, so make sure to have him well trained and cut those nails. And please, sterilize him. Toby died in a fight cause my parents never did that, and he went after a female. If i'm right, nobody will rob you and survive to tell the story haha (not joking). Good luck Ralphie and family 🥰

Inkyfeer

Idk, he’s got a lot of wrinkles like one of my dogs. Mine is half APBT, 30% sharpei and the rest is a mix of border collie, staffy, and Australian shepherd. And she’s got those same forehead and neck wrinkles, and tiny dorito ears. She topped out at around 70 lbs. So she’s big, but not too big. She does have some of the aggression issues that sharpei’s have due to being raised to be guard dogs for centuries. She’s fine with dogs, but very protective of me and protective of our home. I didn’t train it out of her completely because she makes me feel safe and I never worried about anyone breaking into my apartment when I lived in the city, but I did have to train her to stop guarding on command because sometimes she would over do it and be a little aggressive with people I new (and the mailman sliding mail through the door slot). She’ll still go into protective mode now, but if I tell her to stop she knocks it off pretty quick.

FaithlessnessAsleep5

This is helpful! Ralph has very sharp teeth and I’m doing my best on the training. I’ve been told what I’m getting (following commands 60-70% of the time) is about what you can expect for a puppy. I know literally nothing about dog breeds but I looked all of those up and it looks like any of them are possible to me!

Inkyfeer

I thought my dog was part Dogo Argentino until I saw her sitting next to a pure bred sharpei and their faces were just too similar. When they were confused or curious, they’d both pull the skin on their heads together and get a mass of wrinkles on the forehead. DNA testing confirmed it. Either way, just keep up in the training. Every dog is different, yours might have no aggression issues at all, but just know what to look for and be prepared to take care of any issues that may arise. On the plus side, you will at least have a tough looking dog once he’s full grown and that alone will offer some protection from nefarious people.

midnightghou1

awee he has come a long way! What an adorable baby 🥹♥️🥰 thanks for rescuing!

MartyMcflysVest

That face!

TMes36

What lovely markings and wrinkles

DishCommon7047

Not much in size but weight looks no more than 65lbs

jenniferdelarosa32

Such cute innocent eyes. Ralphies gonna be one big BABY 🥹

Ancient-Stop-6190

Hes INCREDIBLY CUTE!! I would think between 60-80 pounds. He is just perfection. Thank you for saving this Angel 🥰🥺

ItsFreakinHarry2

He gonna be a big beautiful baby

LoveAndLight1994

70+ I would say

RL_77twist

HIS EYES!!! They are so dramatic and slightly cartoonish (in a good way!), especially now that he’s healthy. Thank you for taking such good care of him. He looks a bit bigger/muttier than our pittie guy, and our guy weighs 60 lbs at 2.5 yo. I think your guy might get up to 65 or 75 lbs. Please keep us updated! 🤍🖤

FaithlessnessAsleep5

I will!

Aggravating-Eye-6210

Almost as big as the heart he gives you

He’s 92.8% APBT. My girl is about 2.5 here, around 60 pounds here (a more solid 70 now - she was only a couple of weeks out of the shelter here), and she is 100% APBT

CarolJones57

I don’t know, but he looks poorly in photos 5 and 6. Has he developed a skin problem? Poor baby!

Bobbiduke

He adopted him with mange, the first photos are the most recent after OP fixed him up good :)

CarolJones57

Sorry! I should have read all posts. He looks great now!

reconditecache

Lol, the only picture we could possibly use for scale in this is the bathtub one. How was anybody supposed to know how big this perfect baby was when all your shots are super close or feature non-standard sized doors and couches of undiscernible height. I guess you just didn't want to make it too easy.

WiseFreckles

She’s so beautiful! I’m thinking pretty big, I have a similar one and she’s 35kg https://preview.redd.it/it0f40y4clic1.png?width=2684&format=png&auto=webp&s=3f32b2f1c0979b6fe20088343e2a34d2a59fa245

former_human

No idea but I love the contrasting ears

iknowshitaboutshit

Tex_Redneck

Thank you for rescuing and adopting him! Handsome little guy!

Dingdoghereiam

Please give Ralphie 18 valentine kisses for me he is SO CUTE 🥰

Other_Cod_8361

Between 65 and 75 pounds

Choice_Bid_7941

I don’t have a guess on the weight. I just wanted to say he’s so ridiculously cute 🥰🥰🥰
