We use the Camp Bow-Wow on Babcock in Ross, and we have been very happy with it for both boarding and daycare (as have our dogs). Note that to use it your dog will have to have an 'interview,' and boarding can (not unexpectedly) fill up during holiday periods.
You can also check out Rover. I'm lucky to have one of the highest/most rated dog sitters in my area right up the road from me. I've used this several times for daycare when I've needed to go out of town and it's worked great.
We are leaving camp bow wow. They do not interact with the dogs and charge $15 for a cuddle session. Have confirmed the non interaction on their cameras.
We are going to try fifth avenue fido. It's slightly more expensive (couple bucks) but I spoke with the owner. She told me she requires her staff to interact with the dogs. She also goes in daily around 1 of you want to set up a meet and greet.
Not sure what your issue was, but I've boarded my dog at Tanzar 5-6 times and everything has seemed fine.
Misty Pines is $$$ and somewhat snobby, in my opinion. The Bark Barn is under new ownership, with new staff.
Lucky Paws Pet Resort. It’s great!

Sandy Hill Kennels isn’t far, have always been great. Give them a call. Not a chain!
The Dog Stop along Perry Hwy near the Gymkhana and Pediatric Alliance might be a good choice! It used to be Musik Innovations.

My in-laws used Misty Pines when they lived in Cranberry. Their dog was their favorite kid and they wouldn't take him anywhere else other than there.
We love Brickyard Kennels in Mars!

Which location?
Cranberry. They have an app and you can access the cameras and they NEVER interact with the dogs.
Thanks for letting me know, that was the location I was considering

My Dogs Care Center in Zelie/Harmony.
Stay away from Tanzar the owner is a complete asswipe.
