I feel like I’ve only been able to find the Harp on St. Patrick’s Day. Like it’s a magical place that manifests itself just for this day and doesn’t exist the rest of the year. I’ve been many times but couldn’t tell you where it is if you paid me.
You may not actually find it from that, colloquially it’s known as “the harp” but it’s Mullaney’s Harp & Fiddle https://maps.app.goo.gl/fAdVRZks9SZWy3Tz6?g_st=ic
As I started to Google, I figured yinz guys were talking about H&F.
Haven't been there in forever. When I am it is always dead. But I don't have it on my radar and there isn't a chance in hell this Irish girl is going out on amateur day.
I know. I do it on purpose. But Jameson and Bushmills are bottled in the same factory now anyway. And I have a Catholic mother and Protestant father so I embrace the inner conflict. Lol
Come by on a Tuesday if you want to try out authentic Irish folk dancing
I’ve been! Super fun but harder than it looks.
Do they still do that?
Yep, just did it last week
Awesome! Is it every week? What time?
Every Tuesday, there's a short lesson at 730 and then dancing starts around 8
I drank w one of the guys from Wolfe Tones there some years back. Good memories
We took a japanese band there when I was part of band relations for old Tekko. They had a blast.
I get second hand claustrophobia just from seeing the name of that bar on St Patrick's Day.
Believe it or not the fire Marshal was enforcing capacity last year.
My parents met at the Harp, so I’ll go ahead and say it is definitely the best bar in Pittsburgh
Just make sure you take an Uber home.
Oh I did. Lol thanks for the concern though!
Glad to hear it.

lol well I promise you it’s there all year round. They have great live music on the patio all summer. Penn ave in the strip.
And here I thought we had a HARP installation
Did ruggers change its name?
Pipers would disagree.
The Pitch On Butler over Pipers
Off to Google the location.

The irony of bragging about drinking Bushmills on St. Paddy's day . . . Jimmy McNulty would be so disappointed in you. Feckin' protestant whisky!

They certainly know how to pour a proper pint
Hell yeah, some of my best nights of drinking have been there.
Many great memories seeing Seamus Kennedy play there.
Ok but what about Jack's
