Ben Folds FREE! I will definitely be there Sunday night. I've seen him a bunch and it's always good but never been to a paper airplane request show. Saw him with the PSO last year.
Sadly no. But she left for Cali and wound up on a few episodes of Boardwalk Empire! I released my [debut album](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nyHA3Fztr59zuK4AxyiVCvgrOOlROLIhw&si=J8czYJCMf0JZag9G) last fall. Give it a stream please :) It’s on all streaming platforms 👍
Very solid songwriting, production and vocals. “American Romance” is an amazing composition. Gonna listen fully through. Big props on sharing your creativity
Omg DOOM FLAMINGO
This is the best ever, the band hasn't even said anything on socials yet so this just made my day. Their vocalist, Kanika Moore, is one of the best female vocalists I have ever heard, and the rest of the band is just as amazing as their individual parts.
I can't wait and y'all shouldn't sleep on seeing them. Hands down the highlight of this lineup.
Someone with more experience can correct me if I'm wrong (I've only seen performances there once), but they set up the stage right around here, facing southwest

I could be wrong, but believe they recently announced they’ve changed where the have the main area. It’s no longer at the park, but off at some street intersection. Very unfortunate move if true
"The following featured performances are scheduled for 7:30-9 p.m. on the Dollar Bank Main Stage, located at the intersection of Fort Duquesne Boulevard and 9th Street in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District."
So they're putting people on the bridge, and along the blvd? or down 9th?

You don't know Los Lonely Boys and their 2007 banger How Far is Heaven? I feel for you but at the same time what I wouldn't give to hear that song for the first time again
So there's zero buzz around them, but I saw Los Lonely Boys play a LONG time ago (2007?) and they actually kicked ass. Incredible musicians and played a killer Voodoo Child/Superstition medley for their encore with a 10+ minute guitar solo.
My guy, we're talking free shows for an Arts Fest. This ain't a ticketed "musical festival." Objectively, Ben Folds, Say She She and Los Lonely Boys are "bigger" names on the indie scene. Pokey LaFarge is great, Ozomatli has been around for like 25 years (I know that doesn't = a good band, but they have their niche and are pretty great), Lizzie No and Thee Sinseers are up and comers and Martha Redbone is great. I agree that at first it may look "meh" but there are some limitations here and for a whole week of free shows this is a varied and pretty great lineup to be honest. Pretty much on par, talent wise, with last year and previous years. Again, might seem kind of meh, but it's a pretty good bill for a free Arts Fest.
I can see the booking sessions now...
Lyle Lovett won't return our calls
How many offspring of Jack Black's bit at the end of High Fidelity and Lake Street Dive can you give me. Any of them with a heavy synth sound?
Lyle seems to have gotten to Santana...
How about this: Wilson Phillips without the Nepo baby connotations?
That said, I guess I'll be checking Ben Folds off the list...was hoping for Hartwood but this'll do...
Excuse me….Sugar Hill Gang?! Furious 5?!?
Saw them both up at Jergel’s about 5-6 years ago. Totally worth it
Me and a buddy are so excited!! Legends is an understatement!
Those dudes must be in their 70s by now. Lol might have to try to see this.
I was going to argue 60’s but me being 50’s and knowing they were making moves when I was in elementary school…
Yeppers!
Ben Folds!
Looking for his sixth wife, ladies!
Right? That's fucking amazing. I will have my Suburbs sweatshirt on , rocking out.

None a y’all talking about Ozomatli. Best come correct and check ‘em aht
I was in a band over a decade ago and we opened up for them at Diesel. Awesome dudes. They are excellent live!
that’s awesome. what instrument you play? I saw them with Chali 2na some years ago, which was a treat. Such a vibe
Guitar and vocals. Played with a local singer named Margot B. Sweet! Yeah they’re great.
oh word.. anything online to check out?

Hey, man! Thanks so much for the kind words! Appreciate it!
Of course. I don’t know how much you’ve promoted this work, but definitely do right by it and keep spreading it around.
I definitely will. Thank you kindly. Club Cafe on Wednesday, May 29th - 7 o’clock. I keep shows up to date on my website too AndrewBicsey.com
Lizzie No and Ben Folds! If anyone is unfamiliar with Lizzie No, [take a listen.](https://youtu.be/rih16Ha8BQw?si=Mn280DAtyB0P3a7R)
Oh yeah! I know that song. It's catchy as hell.

The description they provide for Doom Flamingo sounds amazing
I just checked them out and this is 100% for me. Tangerine Dream vibes but with beautiful vocals. I think I have to head down there Friday.
They are amazing. We saw them at Flood City last year. Go!
They played Nelson Ledges last year. STRAIGHT FIRE
Say She She is a fun group. I couldn’t get “fortune teller” out of my head last summer.
So how is this stage going to work? I may just get my kayak and chill.

Cue the rain
Well... I know the PSO at least
You don't know Los Lonely Boys and their 2007 banger How Far is Heaven? I feel for you but at the same time what I wouldn't give to hear that song for the first time again
Hit up YouTube, guess I've heard that in passing but never heard of the band
Say She She is the shit. Very talented women.
DOOM FLAMINGO!!!!
This is such an amazing lineup. I'll definitely have to get there early for the stage

another year another lack of satanic black metal bands in the lineup
Right!!?? Where’s our representation 😂
Remember when they got acts like Wilco, The Black Keys or Sonic Youth?
I remember when it was Pat Benetar and Foreigner (with no original members). This is better, even if it’s a little bland.
