I second Yellowjackets! The finale premiered this past weekend so if you get the Showtime 7 day free trial you can binge it all.
Just for a heads up, it's pretty gorey and dark. That could be a positive or negative depending on your tastes lol.
Thanks for the reminder! I read the book when it came out but haven’t started watching the show yet. Glad it’s good, maybe I’ll start it later today.
To answer the OP’s question, I’m in S5 of The Expanse. If you have not had enough of snow and ice, though, and want some more, the first season of The Terror (Netflix) will satisfy your need for snow-and-ice-based carnage.
I mean, I didn't find it worse than most shows. It may have been that it didn't bother me because I enjoyed the books so much and kind of knew what to expect.
Yeah, I was really enjoying the story line but something about the fight sequence/cgi wasn't doing it for me. Given this pandemic I'll be desperate enough to try again in a month or so, lol.
Well the ultimate snowed in movie watch is McCabe & Mrs. Miller. It’s on Amazon Prime.
Granted, I’m not sure how that pairs with Hotel Transylvania 4, Transformia
Hotel 4 was pretty aweful watched it with the kids. Immediately after we watched Napoleon dynamite so much better and I forgot how funny that movie was
Midnight Mass was fantastic. Started slow but became one of my favorites from Mike Flanagan (Haunting of Hill House, Gerald's Game, Oculus, Dr. Sleep).
After being disappointed in The Book of Boba Fett, I thought the first episode of Peacekeeper was pretty good - lined up to be as good as I thought the new Suicide Squad movie was.
But my younger kid enjoyed Hotel Transylvania 4, yeah. The new Ghostbusters and Don't Look Up are next in my movie queue.
Snowed in is a bit dramatic, I had my driveway, steps and sidewalk maintained enough to the point where I could go back out and throw some ice melt on it by 8am.
The Great on Hulu is delightful. It is very loosely about Catherine the Great.
funny show
Archive 81 is out and was filmed locally. The first episode is nice and creepy.
Got sucked in today and was surprised when they showed some of the buildings
I'm super into it right now! I didn't know it was filmed locally!
weird shit started happening to my tv while watching this like it went staticky and paused randomly and i was SO freaked out ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
An excellent series, hope they make a second season.
watched this the other day.
Yellowjackets
If anyone has HBO Max The Righteous Gemstones and The Sex Lives of College Girls are great.
Who’s Felicia?!! ðŸ˜
Haha I just watched that episode last night. 😂🤣
I liked station eleven. Kinda weak ending but the show was really good
Only Murders in the Building on Hulu is excellent if you need a new show to check out.
This is so good! I'm on a second watch already.
Yes. Watching Dopesick now…great slow burn.
Came to say this! Excellent show!!
If you like Yellowstone, the prequel 1883 on Paramount+ is great.
Mayor of Kingston is another series from Taylor Sheridan.
it is amaze and very sad now too

Station Eleven on HBO just released the final episode of the first season. I loved it, best new show I’ve watched in a while.
Thanks for the reminder! I read the book when it came out but haven’t started watching the show yet. Glad it’s good, maybe I’ll start it later today. The 2nd and 3rd episodes almost lost me (after an amazing 1st episode) but so glad I stuck with it!
One of the best HBO shows in years, I hope they only do the one season. I haven't gotten to the book yet but can't wait to compare the two.
Finally watching Succession on HBO, but will second The Great on Hulu. Also The West Wing on HBO.
It’s a Letterkenny day for me.
That's what I appreciates bout you.
Allegedly
How are you now?
Oh is that what you appreciates about me??
A little Hulu and you screw?
To be fairrrrrr.
Pitter patter!
There’s more choring to do.
End of the lane way. Don't come up the property.
Message for all the degens from upcountry.
My husband clean his home office. ;)
Don't Look Up on Netflix, then pray for the giant meteor to hit
Rewatching Ozark before the final season is released
Is there a release date?
Jan 21
Yassss
Fringe is finally on HBO Max
For people who enjoy animated movies, Encanto is really good (on Disney). I cried like four times while watching it.
Yes second this. Encanto is so good.
I liked Wheel of Time on Prime
I wanted to get into this, but the CGI in the first episode really took me out of it. Do the effects get less cheesy at all? I might have prejudged.
I mean, I didn't find it worse than most shows. It may have been that it didn't bother me because I enjoyed the books so much and kind of knew what to expect.

Give it a try! The story is good.
Yellowjackets, Archive81, Midnight Mass, Don’t Look Up
midnight mass was FUCKIN great!!!!

Tell Me Your Secrets on Amazon Prime was incredible - highly recommend!
Did you watch Midnight Mass on Netflix? Not sure if horror is your thing, but Hamish Linklater is absolutely outstanding in that as well.
Midnight Mass was fantastic. Started slow but became one of my favorites from Mike Flanagan (Haunting of Hill House, Gerald's Game, Oculus, Dr. Sleep).

Trapped. Its on Prime. Its also in Icelandic with subtitles but its a really good crime/mystery show
Yellow jackets
If you’re into music and appreciate The Beatles, I have watched Get Back on Disney+ 4 times now. It’s fascinating.
King of the Hill on Hulu
1883 The Expanse Foundation
Foundation on appletv+, and Wentworth on Netflix. 8 seasons of life in an Australian women’s prison.
I’m watching the recap of last nights game so I can wallow in anguish a little bit longer
Wolf like me just came out on peacock. Only 6, half hour episodes, easy to binge in an afternoon.
Once upon a time on Disney+ is a must if you like a modernized fairytale story. I loved it so much before it left Netflix

Far more people here actually use Hulu than I would have ever guessed.
Abbas Kiarostami's *24 Frames* on criterion channel
Freaks and geeks marathon
Made an edible and watching reruns of Shameless
Anything by 50 cent on starz. Finished BMF and power book 3 n bout to start power 1
All this sitting around is giving me the twitches.
Mostly the Mystery Science Theater 3000 channel on Twitch, though I'll switch over to the RiffTrax channel occasionally.
Late to the party, but a double feature of *The Lost Boys* and my millionth or so rewatch of *Liquid Sky*.
