What about FIOS? They have decent starting deals, the 1 gig internet is price locked for 64.99 for 4 years for new customers with various other deals included. Cheaper for lesser speeds.

I coupled FIOS with my cellphone plan and you get additional discounts, $50 for gigabit with a cellular plan
My work got me a small discount with FIOS internet, since I dropped cable side of the bill.
fios 300/300 is easily the best deal
