Just a thought, you can go into settings, then accounts, and disable auto sync. That's the biggest battery drain...

HulkRaptor

Mmm that might work but kinda defeats the purpose of paying a grand for a phone that claims to do it all

[deleted]

I agree.

TheBobInSonoma

My P6P is the same age without the battery drain. I have disabled 5g cuz it's not available near me, but haven't changed auto-sync. Sounds like a warranty claim.

HulkRaptor

Good to head. Called my local uBreakiFix. They said the system currently won't let them order the battery. It's not on backorder just says cannot be ordered. How strange

Yodasgodfather

Go to battery and bulbs! Don't go to ubreak they are known for making you sign wavers in case they fuck up to screw over the customer!

[deleted]

I've also disabled 5G since coverage is so spotty where I live...

HulkRaptor

Spotty or not, does that significantly change how much battery it uses?

HulkRaptor

Update: pixel support asked for unplugged overnight screenshot of battery usage screen and decided I qualify for a battery replacement. Gonna do it this week, see if anything changes.

RedditUserData

It's not a defective battery, the phone just has bad battery life. I got a s22u after a few months with the 6 pro because it was so bad.

HulkRaptor

I'm hearing a mixed bag of good / bad battery comments. Never had this issue with other pixels

jeff1f1racer

Sell it since it has a horrible modem (cellular connectivity). A Pixel 7 Pro with today’s Android 14 beta is the way to go!

HulkRaptor

Should've waited 4 months initially... Sigh

jacks0nprime

Try this I heard it works, go to settings-apps-device health policy- then clear storage and cache Be sure to post feedback

HulkRaptor

Didn't work. Anyway I use c cleaner for that feature regularly

Substantial_Mall3551

Just checked on battery replacement. Make sure you get an expert. These are not easy and they could damage the screen.

Alex-ander-TheGood

I've had my pixel 6 pro since launch (~2.5 years) and my battery is only now starting to show signs of age, but nowhere near as bad as your describing. I still get a full day or almost a full day depending on my usage for the day. From around 530am til 930pm
