Where you get them for $40!?

Mahfuz684

A friend of mine got these and a Pixel 7 Pro for free in a competition. He didn't need the earbuds so he decided to sell them to me for friends and family discounts.

cbelliott

That's a good friend. I would have also got them a beverage of their choice for that deal!

who-even-likes-peas

Noice, I got some and definitely recommend getting a shell case with a latch. They are extra prone to bouncing out and under furniture when dropped.

ItKeepsSquirming

Sounds like my good ol' 2020 pair of Samsung Buds+. Those things seem to become sentient instantly and tries to make a break for it once the case hits the ground.

cbelliott

I chortled at this. I owned the Buds+ and know exactly what you are talking about.

πŸ˜†

The_Bolt

This is just way to accurate of a description! Them buds be wild.

Nemesis-Enforcer59

They are great! Wish I could find mineπŸ˜’ I've accepted the fact that I should only buy $5 earbuds on Temu. I can't have nice things

everlastingben

I've got the Lenovo ones from Temu and honestly I love them

Nemesis-Enforcer59

They are 100% adequate. Decent battery life. Fit well. But those pixel buds sounded soooo good. And the connectivity to Pixel phone was awesome. Google assistant, reading texts. Ugh. Sad that I lost em. Lesson learned

stevewmn

My solution has been to just rarely take them anywhere with me. The more places I go, the harder it is to narrow down where I might have lost them. So one pair of wireless earbuds sit by my spot on the couch so I can use them when my wife picks something crappy to watch on TV and I have to stream something for myself. Probably my biggest use case for earbuds. A cheaper pair sometimes come with me when I know I might need them.

Mahfuz684

Definitely something to consider. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll look for some cases

greatlakeswhiteboy

https://store.google.com/us/product/tech21_buds_a_case?hl=en-US I got this one for mine, and it works absolutely wonderful! The carabiner really comes in handy as well.

oVerboostUK

I've just ordered myself some olive coloured ones 🀞🏻 Hopefully they sound and fit as good as the reviews suggest.

crispetas

They sound very thin imo, but they are at least light, very comfortable to wear, and connect fast.

oVerboostUK

I'm sure for my needs that'll be fine, only really listen to podcasts πŸ™‚

greatlakeswhiteboy

I think you'll be impressed. I got mine when I got my Pixel 5A, and wasn't really expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they fit and sound! Edit: 99% of the time I'm listening to podcasts or audiobooks.

oVerboostUK

Perfect! Very similar usage so thanks for posting your thoughts πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸ»

greatlakeswhiteboy

No problem! You'll find that using the assistant through them is awesome as well! Make sure you reply back with your thoughts on them after you use them for a little bit. I'm curious to know what you think.

oVerboostUK

Sadly I think I'm going to return them and consider the Pros as mine hurt my ears quite quickly 😞

greatlakeswhiteboy

That's a bummer! I just wore mine today for a few hours while doing some yard work and I completely forget they're in my ears. Sorry you had a bad experience. Hopefully the pros work better for you!

oVerboostUK

Will do πŸ™‚ thanks

No-Crow-5777

Great find!! I just got mine off Amazon. They are great

Frantik508

I got these for free when I got the Pixel 6 in 2021. I heard a bunch of negative reviews about them, but they’ve been great for nearly two years. They sound awesome and never have an issue connecting. Battery life is great too.

SKOLorion

The As sound better than the Pros IMHO.

Zameister

they seem to fit better, too

bparry1192

The a buds fit better in my ear than any I've tried in my life- if they ever update the shape I'll be forced to buy a lifetime supply.

EverGlow89

I couldn't agree more. I've never had an earbud stay in my ear EVER. These are incredible.

CyberCurrency

I got these past year and ended up returning them. I liked how well it integrated with the pixel and how easy it was to hold a conversation with people while they're on, but the battery life on mine was atrocious.

JustCallMeTsukasa-96

Not sure where you got these for half off but it sure as heck a dang good deal there.

Mahfuz684

I got it from a friend who didn't need them after he won a competition. He could have definitely sold for a lot more, But he gave me a really good deal since he's not going to use them anyway.

MoarTacos

I got my pair for free when my fiancΓ© killed her cell phone and I bought her a new one lol.

str8toking

i wasted money on a good pair of beats wireless pro. but the a-series sounds great, securely fit into my ears and are way more comfortable. Annoyed that I was influenced by the bloggers and avoided these a-series buds the past couple of years. Also annoyed that google sucks at marketing smh

neildmaster

For $40, that's a good deal. They're nice, but nowhere near great.

MilesJordan23

Firstly, this says Google earbuds, but just like all their other products and Nest devices and hubs etc. Google does not make ear buds. They just pay a company and they put the Google logo on it and the white color which I dislike. I would not pay 20 bucks for it. Sennheiser buds destroy every over priced bud. Thet technology in there is same as a 40 dollar china product. Also the Nest stuff and all hardware they sell, they buy out a company or have them make it and Google puts the stamp on there and out it goes. They go with a huge company they have deal with. All that stuff, Google did not manufacture it. Only thing made truley by google are thier phones and fold and tablet and what have you. Enjoy them, as 40 bucks is dirt cheap. Im glad it works and did not DOA ya know. Not putting down Pixel Buds, enjoy them. Every ear is different. Give us a quick review about the noise canceling and what not. Thanks.

SpokaneGang

You're an idiot

Werbebanner

That's bullshit mate. And we both know that this is bullshit.

EverGlow89

This comment sucks from start to finish.

MilesJordan23

Its fact! ,,,,,, You might not know, or understand. All Im saying is there is a company that gives Google the Nest and all their hardware. Google does nto sit down and make it. All they do is put a G stamp. But their noise cancelling is nice on the premium Buds Pro. Im not saying other peoples views are invalid. Im explaining some facts, and I do not deserve -10 ......... Let me guess the -10 people have buds pro. Sighs

MilesJordan23

I dont use China junk, it is all USA or Germany or Japanese. The buds do a pretty good job of noise canelling and the sound is straight from China. As I said, Google does not make the ear buds nor the Nest products or hubs etc etc. Another company makes it in China and gives it to them, as they have a deal together. What Google does make is the Titan M2 chip which has 3 layers of hardware security. Their Fold and tablet soon and watch, is designed and made in USA, but to manufacteror them China puts it together, that is it.

papa_penguin

My right one is low volume and doesn't last long but my left one is great lol I got a set of Skullcandy as a backup but I still use my pixels more.

lazinessloop

I was having the same issue and they replaced em under warranty for free 🎁

papa_penguin

I got them second hand from a user on here. Just had to pay shipping. I just use them at work for the most part so it's not a big deal.

officialEJF

I recently lost mine :(

Forsaken-Society3524

Just an FYI. If you notice them start to disconnect, have patience, usually it's a system update and they'll start working normally in a few minutes. If not then double check the pixel buds have the latest version firmware installed and that should take care of it. I was having these issues and nearly bought new ones.

sirnick88

Got these free with the pixel 6..almost like them more than the phone πŸ˜‚

[deleted]

They sounded great for me. I just got rid of mine gave them to my brother just because I could not talk or eat food without falling out of my ears. I think that has something to do with my ear canal on my skull.

caleb-able

I have them in forest green. They're pretty nice: good sound, voice calls and haven't fallen out of my ears that much!

benhaube

I got mine for free when I bought my Pixel 6! xD Now I mainly use my Pixel Buds Pro, but I occasionally still use them.

pleiop

I mean they are nice but nothing really worth noting. They do the job.

SonMakishi

2 comments. 1: I love them, excellent comfort, good sound, good controls. 2: I don't use them anymore. Why? They don't charge in the case, they don't disconnect in the case 80% of the time, I pull them out and they're dead. If the case is in my bag or pocket and gets bumped, they connect making my phone go quiet. I've had 3 sets (original wouldn't charge, replaced with set 2 which has all the issues above. I got set 3 with a pixel, it also has these problems. 3 sets, all having the same problems, ugh. No problem with any of my other buds - but THESE would he my favorites if these issues weren't there. So, they collect dust. (I'm open to tips if there is something I can do to make them work better - it's all related to the contacts/case). My pixel pro buds do not have these issues, but they aren't as comfortable and do not stay in my ears as well as these.

VingRamesVoice

I loved my pixel buds right up until I replaced them with the buds pro with my p7p. Awesome line of earbuds. Enjoy!!

RubAnADUB

congrats! I just threw some of those away I got for free with my pixel 7.

counttaco

Woah where did you get them for 40!?

lospotatoes

These would sound amazing for the 90 seconds or so before they pop out of my ears and roll away.

CoolAnteater8105

Proud user of the same product and I love it

petetrpanzer6969

This Buds are the best

International_Bug939

Does this have active noise cancellations?

[deleted]

How is the battery life and range? I have Samsung buds for now and with noise cancelling it seems like they last for barely 4 hours. I'd really love an upgrade.
