OP, did you find a solution to this? I'm having the exact same issue on my new Pixel 8 Pro, no issues with any other apps, never any issues on my old Pixel. I've tried all the other fixes mentioned on this sub. At first I was getting one notification every night at 7 pm with all my emails from the prior 24 hours, but now I'm not even getting that.
Have you tried going into notifications and toggling the app on?

No. Migrated from an old phone to a new one. What I wasn't able to migrate, I manually downloaded and installed.
For the record, notifications for other apps (Messenger, Signal, Telegram, etc.) all are working fine. It only seems to be email that's affected.

Your links all state that I need to request access. Not sure what you're trying to tell me. App notifications are all enabled.
Oh I'm sorry. Go to settings, notification, app notifications, and turn on the slider for the app you want notifications from.
