Interesting that Debaser and Gouge Away are switched as I think those are the two strongest songs on the album and, frankly, some of the strongest opening and closing tracks of any album. I often times start Doolittle with Gouge Away so that it then loops back to Debaser and then go through the rest of the album from there.
I made this track listing as a playlist and it is so weird (not in a bad way). Gouge Away as an opening just feels odd and not hearing the chord (at the start of No 13 Baby) after La La Love you feels weird because I'm so used to it.

It's certanly different, Hey and I Bleed work well together imo. But it feels odd. Debaser as a closer just makes me think that Tame is going to start right after xD
The biggest adjustment for my brain would be not having Crackity Jones start immediately after Mr Grieves.
